Hikoki Metabo HPT nail gun NR1890DC not shooting, loading nails.

This Hikoki gun, or Metabo HPT in the states, was left in because it was shooting but not putting out nails.
Mag was jamming and not pushing the next nail up. customer had to keep pushing the nails up by hand to insure the nails where loading.
All it needs is a quick washout and a bit of oil.

I’d put a dry lube on the nail slider instead of oil. It was gumming up which needs something wet to begin with to mix with dust.

I cleaned mine out and replaced spring worked on one job now doing the same again. I went through many jobs without this issue. Problem occurred more recently after started using Hitachi nails was on paslode prior to that not sure if nailes really shame though I haven't had it more than 2 years and body is pretty clean condition. I forgot to register for the 5 year warranty. Not sure what else to try it's pretty expensive to replace the whole unit

Does the compressor pump have to be charged and what happens when the compressed pump has a problem ,has it all to be changed

What do you recomend to clean it Dean then to lubricate it ? Will it affect my warranty if I do it as I need it daily? Thanks! 👍

Yes, opening the gun will void the warrenty.
