Hey i just got my 8-1 going to put it to the test here soon. Ordered backing off amazon went to use realized i ordered non sticky backing lol so now today the right stuff should be here. One thing you could do it if you are doing black thread or white and its showing threw is to change the bobbin to the same color and you wont see it come threw. That will get you through the stitch or even order until you get your tension right. I keep both white and black in stock for my bobbins

@Katrina's Graceful Creations yea I love having two different options. I even got black backing for hats too.
Great video! You can also get Cricut’s sublimation markers. I have used that to color in the white bobbin thread and it doesn’t wash out.

You should not use white bobbin when you are using black thread.

I showed it it’s only one shape for the hat. I don’t know the size of it. It’s the u shape.
