- Hats & caps… just one of the many clothing articles we as embroiderers get to have fun and be creative with. Caps are a staple of the embroidery business. According to a survey several years ago, over 80% of profit-making embroiders do caps. That being said, it makes sense to take the time to learn how to sew on them. Join John in this video as he shows you how easily you can create production-friendly embroidery designs for the back of caps.
Thanks for watching!

Once again great video! Little tips that make digitizer a little easier
Another great video that not only shows you how, it also tells you why!
You’re the GOAT 🐐
Thank you
Great Video, very informative and helpful! As always, so grateful for you always helping and sharing!
Thank you .. fabulous instructions ❤️
Thank you so much for showing us this new tip - it is certainly going to make life easier now when doing hats!
Thank you John, as usual your instructional video are easy to follow. I will now go back and work on cap backs with the round hoop. Too hard to embroider backs in cap hoop.
Dang that is smart! Thank you
That was brilliant, thank you. I have e4, but find doing text on curves a bit "random", so your way of doing it with any shape and then matching to your own curve is perfect. Another great tip learnt. And I'm grateful many times a day for the video about doing a reef knot so that you can just pull the knot through the eye of the needle when you change thread - what an amazing time saver!
I really appreciate your videos. I am learning alot.
