make the file a little smaller? it can be that the hats brim is hitting the neck of the machine causing the surface that your embroidering on to bend also
Hi Lulu, that was actually our logo that was custom designed and then scaled to be embroidered on the hat. Im not sure what size that is. The size of the logo is 2.5" x .7". An equivalent font size would vary between fonts.
The machine can embroiderer well at much higher speeds. But depending on the fabric and the hooping method it is a good practice to adjust the speed as a precaution.
You sir, are a genius! Just what I needed for a client. TY so much my friend. God Bless.
We are glad this video helped!
Could you show a video of doing an arch on the back as i find that its more difficult to get the arch the right size.
Using the all in one hooper works great also to hoop your hat and get it centered!
I like to see an arch lettering on the back of the hat, some times get looking great other NO, and tips.

On the 8 in 1 for hats. What size hoop do I pick?
Hi there, our techs can help you with that, email service@ricoma.com
What’s the speed your running the machine and which brand of hats are being used and where to get them? Thanks.
I believe we ran the machine at 600 stitches per minute. We are using OTTO caps, you can purchase them through their website: ottocap.com/
Can you embroider in multiple locations of the hat using a EM 1010 ?
Yes, you can but you'll have to hoop it specifically for each area every time as it does not have 270 degree rotation.
@@ricomatv thanks any chance you will make a video on this, yo show how to do it correctly?
I have not watched the whole video yet but I have a question. What brand and what kind of adhesive backing are you using? Thanks!
Hi there, we usually use Sulky sticky backing.
Thank you for your reply!
Hi bro,

make the file a little smaller? it can be that the hats brim is hitting the neck of the machine causing the surface that your embroidering on to bend also
How many characters/letters can one put on the back of the hat?
Hi Daniel, thanks so much for watching. It really depends on the size of the design.
@@ricomatv But any guidelines on ideal font size and total characters? I’ve spent hours trying to find an answer to this simple question. Thanks!
What size of font did you use for this design?
Hi Lulu, that was actually our logo that was custom designed and then scaled to be embroidered on the hat. Im not sure what size that is. The size of the logo is 2.5" x .7". An equivalent font size would vary between fonts.
What degree angle did you do the letters to get the curved look
Can you hoop with mighty hoop
yes you can, however it is much easier with our 8-in-1 device
It looks like you are only running at about 500 spm on this. Why are you running the machine so slowly? Does it not stitch well at higher speeds?
The machine can embroiderer well at much higher speeds. But depending on the fabric and the hooping method it is a good practice to adjust the speed as a precaution.
