😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂 Im sorry. That was funny. @heart&hustle forgot to tell you to make sure the bottom was clear. 🤨 Shoulda called A-Dubb. It’s all good. That needed to happen. Happened to me too. You learned. Your good now.
Don’t be hating on Joe. He showed me a picture afterwards. His video was on tension not the 8 in 1 device. But after doing that I will definitely never do it again. 😆
That's what I love about you. Most people would not have shown this but you keep it honest and real. Those are more teaching lessons for all of us. Thank you!
This was so entertaining. Only the people who have experienced this can relate to the excitement and disappointment all in the same moment. Thank you for sharing the moment. I’ve learned to check once, twice, a third, fourth and fifth time in some cases- design, direction, trace, detailed trace. You’ll never let that happen again. Great video
So glad you had a chance to meet Joe. I remember when you first got your machine and had some issues with hats I had recommended his channel to you in the comments. You are two of my favorites on RUclips. Continue blessings to you.
It was your first time. It’s all good. My old man said to tell you he did a lot worse the first time. I like that you show your mistakes and how you overcome them. You are kicking ass. Thanks for all your knowledge.
Thank you thank you thank you for your teaching because you make it a lot easier but the rest of us that never get it right the first two or three times around. You are just a wonderful gift to all of us newbies.
Right! Just did that yesterday and it happened on the last letter of the design. It does look good though. We gone learn today.. it wasn't a loss it was a learning experience.
Yup. Joe, you might have been more careful than we were. It’s still fun to watch the fails even knowing I did the same thing. It’s part of the process. Katrina is about to be really good at this. She’s already came a long way. Next she has to get that bobbin thread from showing at the top. Joe. Take it away. Lol 😂
YES!!! Katrina and A. DUBB are definitely hitting us left and right with these videos and I'm loving every bit of it!! I came across Heart and Hustles's channel last week and it nearly blew me away with all of the embroidery machines that he has which led me to a comparison video of having multiple needlehead machines all on one line that does all the same one design all at one time compared to having separate machines but connected to each other but able to do different designs all at the same time, I must say that after watching those comparison videos, that is the tough decision to make. You bring some very imperative information about business to the Forefront and I want to thank you for that Katrina! Have a wonderful day!!🌞🙏🏽👍🏽💝
Those are my guys. Allan I have known over 20 years and Joe I just got to know and I feel like I have known him for a while. We all out here trying to help everyone grow.
Get a Peggy Stitch Eraser and I don't recommend anything else because another one I tried was trash. It will make getting those stitches out so....more easier. Thanks for sharing the oops! Tracey
lol! I did that my first time with a duffle bag for a customer! I about died! You learn quick to make sure you cleared the arm….lol it’s awful when you have to pay to replace product! 🤦🏻♀️ I don’t use the sticky back stuff, it tends to gunk the needles up, I just slide cut away backing under (floated) but the fast frames are awesome.
If you resized the design for a narrower hoop, it would fit. The skinny sleeves are not easy, probably need to keep designs for sleeve cuffs under 2” wide.
Those things happen don't worry about it. I place the 8 in 1 hoop arms first and then attach the hoop with the item, that way can make sure the bottom of item is not on top on the needle plate. Congratulations on your new addition to your shop 🎊
The hard part about watching you doing that is that I couldn't say,"Waaaaaaait". AND you cut up the sleeve because you didn't separate from the inside. But, we are all learning in one degree or another. Glad you got it together!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! Now Rock and Roll!
Oh my...I have done this plenty of times. I will say definitely a good lesson. I use my seam ripper as well but also get the old fashioned razor blade and carefully slice the threads and then use tweezers to pull out! #ExquisitelyYours
I just did the same thing on a purse provided by the customer!..Embroidered the hoop into the purse..use one of those razors/ trimmers to cut the stitches
Katrina the only thing I would’ve done different is I would have put a water soluble topper on top that way your stitches would not sink into the sleeve they would stay on top more
When you clamp, put a clamp each side at where the item is on, clamp each side where design will be embroidered most and clamp at bottom, it should hopefully keep your item from shifting.
Someone asked me to embroider their name on their culinary uniforms, i.e., coat, cap, apron all was fine until I had to place their initials on the pocket of the apron...OMG I was ready to rip open the seam float it and sew the pocket back, but something said, "Girl Pull Out that Fast Frame" and try it. Thank you for your video > socks, sleeves, footies look out. 😊
This is what I find hard with fast frames (what mine are called) - small things still have to fit around the throat, but when I want it to scan my sticker - OMG - can't really scan for small items as the machine wants to move more than it really can with the item on it? Hope this makes sense. Thank you for your video!!
Nice design, shame about the 1st sleeve. There is a technique you should look up, called REVERSE HOOPING, also called UPSIDE DOWN HOOPING, people use it to do Xmas stockings and things with tight spaces. Basically you put sticky stabliser on TOP of the hoop, sticky side facing down, stick it to your item, carefully cut out the paper covering the sewing area ONLY. The hoop will be on top of the item instead of in it, and the emboidery arm will be the only thing in the item, so it will move more freely. For a better understanding, check out REVESE HOOPING and UPSIDE DOWN HOOPING. Good luck to all who try it.

Ms. K , Been there!!!!! Yikes!!! Right. it's not happening with that ripper. Cut and Patch! Your first and last time right!! You got next. I feel for you! Ouch!!!
Slimline 2 are way better than the 8n1 reason is you don't need to use adhesive backing. Look into that one.i can see your going to sew the arm together before watching
Soon as you said let me take the arms off lol. It was at that moment I knew you messed up. I've done it lol just not on camera lol. I know the frustrating feeling. While you was saying OMG I was SMH at myself.

doesn't an upside down cross have something to do with a pentagram? it is common for the upside-down cross to be used as a symbol of atheism, humanism, and the occult. Several black metal bands use an inverted cross to call attention to their supposed devotion to Satan. Upside-down crosses appear in horror movies such as The Omen and The Conjuring as a signal of demonic activity. The symbol crops up in tattoos, on pendants, and as a logo on t-shirts. Sometimes, it is accompanied by statements such as “Believe in Yourself,” “There Is No God,” “Black Mass,” or “Not Transformed.” In these contexts, the obvious intent of the inverted cross is to declare an opposition to Christianity. Turning the cross upside down becomes a means of denying the truth of Christ and mocking His sacrifice. Not hating, but I wouldn't wear that. I love your videos by the way!

Open the seams then later sew them backup, if not u will distort the sleeve
