For someone that literally has controllers mounted around his house like family photos, you sure do deserve a bigger audience. This is quality content.
I've gotta make a wall display for all of mine. Currently I'm using some two tier acrylic displays perch above the TV on a shelf. Looks good but not exactly what I want.
I straight up have been looking for a controller video for a couple of hours on and off. Saw your wall in the thumbnail and said....yeah, this is the guy lmao.
I've got 2 elite 2's and both have been alive and well since release day they get quite a bit of use as well at least until I got the 8bitdo ultimate best PC compatible controller on earth imo perfect for my Tony hands
As mentioned on social media last night it should have been a 31-way shootout not a 28, as I forgot to bring out the Nacon Revolution X, Nacon Pro Compact, and Cinch Custom. I have dedicated reviews for both Nacon linked at the bottom of this comment, and this pinned comment explains how the controllers fit into this comparison. These controllers may have RIG in the title which is Nacon’s newest branch of gaming peripherals. They are both wired and have Dolby Atmos virtual surround support from the 3.5mm headphone jack AND a subscription/activation to Dolby Access (a $15 value) on PC and Xbox consoles to be able to use them. Keep in mind this won’t sound as good as native Dolby supported headphones, soundbars, surround, etc..but it DOES sound very good as seen/heard in both my reviews. In North America Nacon has a 1 year warranty, but every other region gets 2 years. The Pro Compact is physically small, which is good it you have tiny hands but even if you have average/medium hands it is still pretty comfortable due to having full size thumb sticks with anti-friction rings, and oversized face buttons which I LOVED due to being big and flat. Mini retails for $50 but is only $30 only Amazon currently depending on which of the 3 color you choose. If you need a cheap controller this is a good option, however it has a permanently attached 9.8 foot cable and isn’t as comfortable (for me) as almost all of it’s competition. The Revolution X is still its launch price of $100 in white or black but goes on sale occasionally, and was $80 during my initial review. As for the cons slippery included thumb sticks, slick plastic shell with no rubber grips, a weird bumper design, and no trigger stops or smart/digital triggers, an expected staple of a $100 pro controller. On the positive this gamepad has 4 comfy rear buttons sunken into the rear shell flush you can map on the fly, the thumb sticks performed good in gamepad tester and have anti friction rings like its cheaper mini brother, the application on PC was quite good, and the Dpad and face buttons are large and clicky. A decent option at $100 however it feels and looks pretty cheap despite controllable RGB around the thumb sticks and I wouldn’t recommend it over the ThrustMaster Eswap X in the mid tier. I didn't recommend the PS5 Dualsense from Cinch Customs and the Xbox offering is no different. Their Xbox pre builts when they do have some in stock vary from $190 for no rear paddles (how, just how), $230 for a 2 rear button, and $330 for a 4 rear button (without a remap chip, again very overpriced). The controller builder on mobile phone is terrible to navigate, PC works better but is cosmetically ugly while creating a controller with VERY LIMITED options and parts. $182 for just 4 rear buttons on a stock black looking controller, and there is no remap chip available just like Aim so you are stuck with static rear button mappings you select in the builder. Build time is 6-8 weeks or 1-3 weeks for $30, and you only recieve a 30 day warranty or extend it to a still short 6 months for $30. On top of being overpriced, not having as much customization, a fairly long build time and short warranty, my biggest complaint is Cinch puts their 4 rear buttons stupidly close to each other, even if you are covering all 4 rears with just your middle fingers it feels like you are covering 2 buttons because they are so darn cramped. As with PS, for Xbox Cinch is at the bottom of the custom controller recommendation list. But the sticks have 100% accuracy. Its the best controller I’ve used as far as accuracy goes. Eswap s is good too, but i went through 4 in a month due to some sort of technical issue they seem to have where the thumb sticks intermittently lose connection with the rest of the controller, so i finally gave up on it.
Bought the Nacon Revolution X a few days ago, it arrived yesterday. I was excited to open it up and test it out, was disappointed at the size. I have average size man-hands, and the controller is just uncomfortably large. Like, width-wise, I feel like it's built for longer fingers than mine. And the rear buttons (paddle spots) were just uncomfortable.
On my third elite now, and when you get a good one it’s a fantastic controller. And if you don’t, at least Microsoft sends you a replacement within a month (in my experience). If they offered Hall effect sensors on their controllers in the future, I would be tempted to spend some of these outrageous prices you see in the controller market nowadays
I got one of their custom Design Lab built Elite Series 2 controllers and had to exchange it 3 times, finally ending up with a refund on the 4th send back due to partially unresponsive A/Y buttons. I actually think this one (not stick drift, bumpers, etc.) is an actual design flaw with the controller that maybe a lot of folks just don't notice? Big sadge though, the controller is otherwise nigh perfect?
I think I'm on my 10th...maybe even more? elite series 2. They tend to reach a point where they become unusable for one reason or another at around 3 months for me. The longest one lasted me was maybe 6 months, and it was the white 'core' version. I only have to pay about $50 Everytime I need a new one thanks to Best buys insurance, I know I could just go through the manufacturer warranty when they break, but 50 dollars isn't a lot of money for me especially since I can get a brand new one the same day the last one breaks. I do use plenty of other controllers for specific use cases, but the elite 2 is my daily driver. I think I might try that new turtle beach controller instead next time my elite 2 breaks though.
Since my first Xbox One until my Series X, i actually had 8 (!) original Xbox Controllers turned into Stick Drift within a few months. It was always the left analog stick (used for running). So i was very happy to hear about the Gamesir G7 SE, the first Xbox Controller with Hall Sensor joysticks. And i really don't get why even premium Xbox Controllers still don't have this. Potentiometers are the weak spot of any controller, soon or later.
Starting with this video and now watching it 5 hours later after my xbox controller journey its crazy how much of it i can actually comprehend now. Thanks for all the information you put out.
I've got the Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma Xbox controller and it's the most comfortable thing I've ever used even considering the back buttons. I actually think they're better because I'm not using the kung-fu grip anymore. The extra bumpers are a huge plus too. I liked it so much that I sold a kidney and bought the PS5 version too. I play a lot of Elder Scrolls Online on PC so having 6 extra buttons instead of 4 makes it perfect for it.
just something i can share as my experience with the elite series 2, it came out the box with stick drift and the bumpers would double input sometimes.
In the process of getting a Hex, but I recently got the Powera Fusion 3 and it has been excellent. The rear buttons are made for people with smaller hands and its been the most comfortable controller, even more so than stock XSX one. Dont sleep on it
Fusion 3 was amazing, had absolutely no issues besides the cable giving out, i had to swap it out for a stock XBX controller, but i’m tired of having to put batteries in it and i have no job at the moment so i can’t get a play and charge kit, got an Elite Series 2, the x button is stuck so i’m gonna keep using that until the button stops working and then i’ll replace the series 2 with protection plans until they come out with the series 3 or i get a good elite series 2 batch
Amazing video as always! 1 minor correction for anyone interested the eSwap S is only $129 on their site. I think it’s mentioned being more expensive than the X in the video. However, I’m currently fighting with support about honoring the 2 year warranty on mine.
The power A fusion pro 3 is the best pro controller i have ever used for xbox even down to the latency, nothing beats it imo and ive been through some controllers.
Great video, as always. Love your content. I do think you have it backwards, though -- regarding the Elite II units sold, and quality control issues. The reason such a high number have been sold (aside from being Microsoft's official top-tier controller, and its prevalence/stock in brick-and-mortar) was the "quality control" (strategic obsolescence, in my opinion...) issues. I had an Elite I for 1.5 years before I needed a replacement (well cared-for). When I "upgraded" to an Elite II, it lasted me 2 months. Warranty swapped for a brand new one - 3 months. Endless issues with stick-drift and non-responsive bumpers. Gave up on them awhile back. Hope the rumors of their improvement are true..
@@GamerHeavenOfficialYou said their QC is getting better. Sounds like the older ones were better and QC is getting worse? I wanted to go out and pick one up today. But now I'm nervous to.
I just got the Instinct Pro last week after exchanging about 12 Elite Series 2 that all had stick drift out of the box and I absolutely love it. It's definitely overpriced though. It should be around $150 in my opinion. Although it's quite expensive, I'm definitely digging it more than the Elite Series 2 overall. Also, there was a card in the box that said the warranty was increased to a full year instead of 6 months. Definitely consider this controller if you have no problem dropping $210 on a controller.
Jesus Christ that’s so many elites 😂. I shouldn’t laugh, that’s terrible that that happened. I’m glad you have moved to greener and more reliable pastures
@@n64slayer fr my custom one from Microsoft design lab the right bumper began doing a double input when I clicked it once and now recently my left one it doesn’t do an input when I click it sometimes and my A button is starting to act up a little. I’m going to wait for the elite 3 to see if they fixed quality control and stuff and if not I’m going to consider getting a scuf and maybe by then scuf will make a new version of their Xbox controller so that you can have the ability to click all 4 back paddles at once and not this rolling your middle finger thing lmao
I still remember up to 2019 when reliable, first and second party Xbox 360 controllers, could still be found in physical stores for €20... What happened to people? Why do you all accept these unacceptable prices for controllers??? The only upgrade any of them got was a gyroscope and that's still not so expensive. Even Xbone and PS4 controllers still cost more than €30 and they're for 10 YEAR OLD CONSOLES.
Been a very interesting watch, this peasant is using a powerA spectra infinity which I've had for less than a month(before that a turtle beach react r). Next is gamesir g7 se. All your recommendations which iam happy with. Thanks for sharing... "👍"...
Not to mention the elite's are easy to resell if needed so good investment too. Times got hard and I needed to keep the electric on and yes I Contemplated it but when you have kids these things can happen. Point is it sold within minutes and sold it for more than I purchased it for.👍
Yoda I was waiting for you to watch and comment. That is a very good point, I actually ended up selling my old elite. A pro controller is not a priority over electricity in the house
I appreciate you taking the time to test all of these controllers. I got really bad stick drift on my series x controller and need a replacement. I couldn't get myself to spend over $200 on a aim and the discount code minimum is a joke($259 or above to use). Getting a elite series 2 with extended warranty based on your video!
MASSIVELY IMPORTANT TIP HERE. In ds4 windows adjusting Max Output to something lower like 95% or even 80% and then putting sensitivity to 105% or 120% respectively will give you NEAR PERFECT circularity. The lower you put Max Output however decreases the accuracy so it's not recommended to go below 90%. It would be nice if you could explore this more btw lol
I am doing a DS4 windows tutorial in the near future, and I will cover the adjustment you mentioned along with a bunch of other useful tweaks. I’d also like to clearify what you’re saying would SHOW good results in game pad tester but generally FEEL like ass due to not having 20% of your outer movement on the stick, and using a higher sense to try to counteract that. Cool party trick to show your buddies a low result in Gamepad tester…not advised for actual gaming.
I recently picked up the Gulikit KingKong 2 Pro as well as the Gamesir T4 Kaleid. I'm using them as PC X-box controllers on Steam. I like both of them quite a bit....maybe the T4 the most. The Gulikit feels higher quality and more solid, plus those triggers are the smoothest I've ever felt, but the T4 has better touch on all the other buttons. The thing I don't like about both of them is the View button is placed badly. You can't really hit it without bumping the left thumbstick. One of the biggest reasons I got the T4 was so I could remap a rear button to the View button.
@@GamerHeavenOfficial I have! It was a good review! I did pick up the white though, idk i just like it haha (though im finding i might be one of few haha)
42:35 nah, man. I have had 4 and they all developed double clicking bumpers (my current one even has a double clicking A button) after 3-4 weeks. You can easily test this by pressing and sliding over the bumpers, they pretty much turn into rapid fire buttons. Contact cleaner fixes the issue temporarily. I had never stick drift on the ones I had, though. Anyway thanks for the video. Prolly picking up one of them Gamesirs or an eSwap. Wish the wireless options would be cheaper... am not dropping 200€+ on a gamepad. lol
@@GamerHeavenOfficial I've been saving my money I've been trying to find the best controller for my xbox series x, I play apex legends and fortnight most of the time.
0:54 you did your job! Video done! Found the perfect controller in under a minute! Gimmie that WINNIE-THE-POOH controller! 😅🤣😎👌🏻 I quite like my 8bitdo sn30 pro+ and I've been wanting to get the ultimate xbox version! I like the Dpads. 👍🏻 might look into some others you showed. Great overview, man!
Amazing video as always! Currently considering the razer wolverine v2 (not chroma). I dont really care about rear buttons or wireless, so I think they might be the best for me given my preferences.
This video left me more confused than ever but definitely chock full of good info. I want a custom with HE sticks and increased right-stick resistance options...checked Aim, Hyper, Scuff, etc...don't see any with that particular combo.
The Xbox adaptive controller is still on my bucket list 💫 such an amazing accessory for the disabled community, something competitors, surely drug their feet on for a long time. Nintendo must be in the lab trying to figure out what they’re gonna bring up. Thank you for one of the most helpful channels on the entire platform. Keep up the great work and enjoy your wonderful weekend with all of those blessings ✊🏆 324 days no alcohol 🥇
First of all congratulations on your sobriety, that is huge. Secondly I’ve actually been thinking about making a video on the special-needs controllers that Sony and Microsoft both released recently for handy capable gamers
I’ve used the Elite Series 2 rear paddles and they made my index and middle fingers numb. It’s almost like starting carpal tunnel syndrome. Then I played without using them and I could game again. Would rear buttons help solve the issue of losing that feeling with the paddles? I mostly play FPS games and thought maybe the 8bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth or Pro 2 might be a good replacement. But they only have 2 buttons 😕
I have two Elite cores that I got from verizon when they had them for $65. Neither of them have stick drift. But the way they come in the box doesnt surprise me that yours did. They should be secured with a foam mold.
I loved this video. As a long time gamer since the Atari era I really enjoyed it. But for Brazilians customers like me it's almost impossible to have access to half of the brands. We stay at the low side, budget controllers. For us Gamesir pads is the way to go. Cheap, well built, comfortable, very durable. You can't go wrong with them. I wish there were wireless. And I will keep asking for this until u do: a review on the Flydigi Vader 3 pro. If you manage to get the Green One Piece coat, even better.
In over 20 years of playing console games, I had gotten stick drift on only 3 or 4 controllers, until I started playing Apex. Now I get a new controller every 2-4 months because of drift.
These controllers are amazing, and if money was no object I'd snag 5 of em. But with my gamesir se hall effect wired controller do to arrive any day now. I don't think I'm buying anything without halleffect sticks ever again.
I came here as my Elite 2 has stick drift and the wireless drops out when button mashing starts (boss fight roulette!). It would have been nice to have a top wireless category but thanks for the Gamesir recommendation as I wouldn't have considered that. I really enjoyed your knowledge and humour, now I'm going to lay down as you talk so fast 🤡
Even though it's classified as a switch controller, the T4k technically should of been thrown in the budget list as my pc recognizes it as an X Box controller 🙃
I absolutely love the elite series 2/core controller; my original series 2 lasted 2 years and through a move from VA to GA, then out of nowhere it popped a huge amount of stickdrift. Then I got a series 2 core and have had it almost 2 years and no sign of stick drift (i use the accessories from my original series 2) If you get lucky (Q&C is getting better) and get a good one it'll last a long time
Awesome review video!!! I've had Scuf PS4 Infinity Pro and a Scuf Intinct as well. Both had issues with paddles not working, and both ended up with stick drift!! So after many returns to Scuf I'd had enough, I no longer wanted to pay top price for a Scuf which quite frankly, aren't worth the money. So after watching this video I can now say i am the owner of a Gamesir G7! And honestly, I love it! For the price, it's incredible and just as good as my Scuf Instinct. No more expensive controllers for me.
I actually have both the Advance and Ultra X from HexGaming. Both great controllers, though I actually prefer the Ultra X for its extra features and I actually don't mind the rear button placement (seeing as I use 2 rear buttons most of the time, but I can still reach the other 2 buttons with my middle fingers if need be). I built the Advance through their site and I really like how it turned out, but my only gripe is the lack of friction rings for the thumbsticks.
I really need your advice because I am confused between buying the SCUF Instinct Pro or buying the Thrustmaster ESWAP S and I can afford both of them but I just don’t know which one is better
Nice to see a good overview of your x box controller reviews. How about a pick or two for folks with larger than XXL gloves rather disappointed that you have not done shows that cover extra large hands as well as one for folks with extra small hands.
Best game pad reviews hands down! Im surprised you didnt mention the nacon revolution x. Just picked one up on prime day for 60$ and wow what an amazing controller! The software is really good and the thumb sticks are buttery smooth.
I've had my Nacon RIG Revolution X Pro for over 1.5 years playing at least 4-6 hours a day and the sticks are still working excellent compared to my Xbox elite series 2 stick had stick drift in three months along with all my other big-name brands like Razor Wolverine, Scuff etc. are all garbage do to the analog outdated sticks they use. The Nacon RIG Revolution X has been very solid and truly the best one ever for durability and no stick drift. FYI, they did just come out with a new one that has hall effect sticks. I think my "RIG" version has them, that's why its lasted this long, someone said to get the one that says RIG because they thought that one has the hall effect sticks. The only thing I wish they would have updated on the new one was to make the body closer size Xbox controller and update the back paddle buttons on the handle so you can click the rear ones easier.
i am looking into getting a xbox aimcontroler for my pc but i only can find the old reviews not any that are for the xbox series x version. are you going to make a update review any time soon?
Good video 👌 I myself am 40 years old and have just taken up gaming again on Xbox. Damn I've missed a lot in the gaming world 🤣 But it will be an Elite 2 control.
I have had the fusion pro original for a while now and very much enjoy it and it's stood up to the test of time. Maybe I'm just a cheap date but I would buy it again at its price point lmao .....either way love your content man keep it coming
Wow its crazy that you reviewed the Power A. Got my first one from gamestop maybe 3 years ago. My first one gave issues then I went to Gamestop and they gave me the newer v2 controller. I say you get what you pay. A great controller but yes the paddles do become an issue after a while! I need to try the 3rd version now!
Thank you for your big review i really love it and come watch it many time when buying new controller but my problem is that every controller have bought with rear button, the rear button alway broke in like 1 year. I’ve tried 2 razer wolverine tournament edition but they broke, 2 elite controller and same for them, rear button broke after several month, so my question is which controller is the thoughest for durability ? Thank you again for your content !
I want to start off by saying that I have had an obsession as of late to find my perfect controller. For anyone that finds this comment, I hope you find it useful. Battle Beaver: Love the stick tension and accuracy on these but the back buttons effing suck Dual sense edge: Currently my main This thing just feels so good in your hands. The half moon paddles feel amazing, but in competitive Apex Legends I need 4 paddles not 2. The function keys are pretty much useless. Only a slight stick drift after 6 months of heavy use but hey, I can replace those at anytime for $20. Gamesir G7 SE: This controller feels awesome for the price, but there is like NO AIM ASSIST with this controller in games. I don't know what it is, but if I am playing on controller then... I want aim assist. Elite Series 2: Stick drift. New or used. Always stick drift. The thumbstick tension adjuster and paddles are the only good things about this controller Razor Wolverine v2 chroma: My god this controller is comfy and the extra bumpers is just pure genius. I loved everything about this controller, BUT and a big BUT, the factory deadzone! even setting it in the software to 1 is just awful. Aim feels very muddy for fine movements. Thrustmaster eswap X Pro: When you said the thumbsticks feel amazing, they do! SO very accurate, but there is something about the sensitivity curves on these that don't provide linear aim consistency for me. I found myself going back to the Dual Sense Edge. Scuf Instinct Pro: Stick drift right out of the box, but the thumbstick tension feels great for aiming. I personally didn't like the new paddle system. Aim PS5 Pro: Currently on expedited order. Used my code Stallions baby. Will update my review soon. Thanks for putting out great content on these controllers. Not everyone can afford to try out several controllers like you and I!
Hey I’m curious on how your eSwap S is working? I bought one as well I while back and within a couple weeks I noticed the thumbsticks had already developed a significant jitter. So I bought another set of thumbsticks and those too developed jitter in only a couple weeks. On top of that I noticed my A button would do extra presses randomly after only about a month of use. Is yours still working fine, or have you since trashed it for something else? I really wanted to like this controller, but from what I’ve used myself and what I’ve heard from others who bought them they’re just junk.
Awesome video 💯💯. I watched your video on the GS G7 and then the one on the GS G7 SE. And was at crossroads which one to get but this video made up my mind GameSir G7 it shall be. Controllers are expensive where I live so I'll have to care it so doesn't get stick drift quickly.
@@GamerHeavenOfficial it's good feels amazing by the way no lies told. Only issue I had Is the stick felt differently than what I was used to. Especially when playing cod. So I had to play around with the stick dead zone.
you ever think of reviewing a sterling wheel? that Logitech Pro G with 11nm and True Force seems like it would be up your reviewing alley 😂 it's nice real nice would love to see you review it. But it's pricey so I understand if you don't but I think you could definitely make a entertaining video with that. take care and have a great day.
@@GamerHeavenOfficial nice 👌 👍 👏. you definitely make good content. you definitely have a presents for the camera. just remember only keeping doing it if it scratches that creative ich and helps put you in a better mental state as soon as it doesn't back away do it all on your terms for others to enjoy don't feel obligated by comments and a RUclips algorithm that gets unhealthy quick. Anyway you don't need me to tell you that but it's also good to get positive feedback on your ridiculous shit that way you know it's working 😜 take care and have a great day.
Is the polling rate on Xbox Series X limited? I’m trying to figure out if the controller speed matters or not. Was looking at the GameSir G7 SE and wondering if you can take advantage of the 1000hz on Xbox
A truly fantastic breakdown, thanks! I would like to know where you rank the “standard” SX controller (and it’s many variants, like the aqua and stellar shift) among all the other 3rd party options.
My pleasure MushDog, honestly my Xbox vs PlayStation controllers video probably summarizes my thoughts on a stock pad the best 🙂 Xbox Controllers Vs. PlayStation Controllers-Which Are Better? ruclips.net/video/H0p8W-CtENQ/видео.html
Unrelated to the controller stuff but the voice you do around the 42:48 mark of the video is really funny/different from your own voice, not many people can do that. Have you ever considered doing any voice acting work?
Power A baby. Ive had the Xbox ones that were 60 bucks but the power a has way less stick drift...tye extra buttons and I can bring it back after 6 months.
Still can't believe not a single hall effect sensor controller with 4 back buttons. Elite version 3 anyone? Also, might wanna do a video on reWASD compatibility. It reprograms the back buttons of a gamepad for pc, but only works with the elite and a couple other controllers.
I lucked upon a gamestop pre-owned razer wolverine v2 chrome mislabeled for 60$. I wish it was wireless. I don't play shooters, but that dpad feels perfect for fighting games. I've been contemplating the ps5 version because it is wireless but that price is insane
You need to focus more on thumbsticks. For example, the new elite controllers have a minor stick wiggle due to the tension feature they added. Accurate sticks are probably the moat important thing on a controller when it comes to competitive play.
In my individual controller reviews I have a section for the thumbsticks, but in a comparison with so many controllers I’m just trying to summarize the best and worst of each
❤ the vid, I wish the battle beaver would up their customer service, their warranty and lower their price. These simple changes would surely push ut too the top? spot
Hey mate, cheers for the information still struggling a bit on what to select… the only game I play is Rocket League. I don’t care for back buttons, only use Xbox layout. I go through the standard Xbox controller every 3 - 6 months as the LB button always breaks as I use it for boosting. Any recommendation for durability when it comes to this in the Xbox range?
What do you guys think about the gamesir g7 se for someone who wanna play fortnite as competitive using a controller? Unfortunately, the controllers with triggers stop are out of my budget.
Absolutely the best review ever done on this channel. So looking forward to the Battle Beaver and EvilModz reviews. Perfect balance of comedy and info as always. I disagreed with your final selection, but only because I have smaller than average North American male hands so the rear buttons tat I can hit with just 1 finger is more appealing than the elite with its paddles. But overall a very comprehensive and fair review for the Xbox series controllers.
Jack I’m glad you watched and commented both versions of the video lol, the Stallion preview and the edited final version. I’m actually super excited for those reviews myself. Thank you for the compliment. Everyone’s hands are different, and everyone’s tastes and preferences are different as well, but I’m glad you like the video brother.
For someone that literally has controllers mounted around his house like family photos, you sure do deserve a bigger audience. This is quality content.
lol, thank you Epoch
Definitely tell your friends about this chsnnel
I've gotta make a wall display for all of mine. Currently I'm using some two tier acrylic displays perch above the TV on a shelf. Looks good but not exactly what I want.
I straight up have been looking for a controller video for a couple of hours on and off. Saw your wall in the thumbnail and said....yeah, this is the guy lmao.
Important note: Scuf bumped up the warranties for the Instincts and Reflexes to a year. This also affects any controllers purchased after January.
Awesome video. Disagree on the Elite 2 as one of the best controllers due to durability. They break, which is why I'm here.
Fair enough!
Fr same 🤣
I've got 2 elite 2's and both have been alive and well since release day they get quite a bit of use as well at least until I got the 8bitdo ultimate best PC compatible controller on earth imo perfect for my Tony hands

Please pin your comment. It's very important, and it's getting buried.
The video we have all been waiting for
Dude, you just blew me away !!
THE VERY BEST Video on Xbox PRO Controllers. PERIOD!!
Thank you so much
On my third elite now, and when you get a good one it’s a fantastic controller. And if you don’t, at least Microsoft sends you a replacement within a month (in my experience).
If they offered Hall effect sensors on their controllers in the future, I would be tempted to spend some of these outrageous prices you see in the controller market nowadays
They are a business, their goal is to make money not hard to break controllers
@@FERTUHG people eventually stop buying a product if it always breaks. you actually make MORE sales if consumers WANT to buy your product.
My pleasure
Man the fact that none of the high tier controllers come with hall effect sticks just seems insane to me.
There are 2 companies working on such an option for their builder right now, let’s keep that between us gOGgy
@@GamerHeavenOfficialany news on this? In the market, but I’ll wait if necessary.
The controller content in this video is GOLD
I've got the Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma Xbox controller and it's the most comfortable thing I've ever used even considering the back buttons. I actually think they're better because I'm not using the kung-fu grip anymore. The extra bumpers are a huge plus too. I liked it so much that I sold a kidney and bought the PS5 version too.
I play a lot of Elder Scrolls Online on PC so having 6 extra buttons instead of 4 makes it perfect for it.
Definitely my go to controller
just something i can share as my experience with the elite series 2, it came out the box with stick drift and the bumpers would double input sometimes.

Thank you Leddius. I appreciate the compliment
The power A fusion pro 3 is the best pro controller i have ever used for xbox even down to the latency, nothing beats it imo and ive been through some controllers.
Eagerly waiting for you to get your hands on that nifty Vader 3 and Vader 3 Pro!
I’m sorry to hear you’ve had such a rough run with the elites. I’ve had my OG series 2 for almost 3 years
@@GamerHeavenOfficialYou said their QC is getting better. Sounds like the older ones were better and QC is getting worse? I wanted to go out and pick one up today. But now I'm nervous to.
Always appreciate the stats and humor with the content. This is a lot of great info thank you Sir Kevin👍🔥
Right on
I just got the Instinct Pro last week after exchanging about 12 Elite Series 2 that all had stick drift out of the box and I absolutely love it.
Yeah the elite 2 is still horrible I hope they redeem themselves with the third addition with bumpers that work and hall effect joysticks

I get all paranoid buying only one controller and this dude got a whole wall!

Been a very interesting watch, this peasant is using a powerA spectra infinity which I've had for less than a month(before that a turtle beach react r). Next is gamesir g7 se. All your recommendations which iam happy with. Thanks for sharing... "👍"...
You are very welcome. Glad you enjoyed
@@GamerHeavenOfficial 👊😎
What controllers do you main?
So far im liking the Hyperkin Xenon more than any other controller. Wired doesn't bother me in the slightest, and it feels awesome.
It is a great controller. Check out my review of it if you haven’t already seen it
@@GamerHeavenOfficial I have!
Wish the wireless options would be cheaper... am not dropping 200€+ on a gamepad. lol
Extremely helpful controller info. Thank you for the clarification of all these controllers.
Glad it was helpful!

First of all congratulations on your sobriety, that is huge. Secondly I’ve actually been thinking about making a video on the special-needs controllers that Sony and Microsoft both released recently for handy capable gamers
Great video. Needed some alternatives since I’ve got three OEM Xbox controllers that got stuck drift.
Dude the young Jonah hill clip was goated. 🤣
Will you do this for PC, PlayStation and Switch as well?
Yes, PlayStation and Switch as PC gets compatibility for all these controllers (except one mobile controller I reviewed)
Hey brother. Glad you enjoyed. That’s trash about the market over there in Brazil 🇧🇷. I swear I’ll be reviewing that controller within 2 weeks
Gamestop once had the gambit on sale for $40. Got one and for that price is really good.
Damn that’s an insane deal !
In over 20 years of playing console games, I had gotten stick drift on only 3 or 4 controllers, until I started playing Apex. Now I get a new controller every 2-4 months because of drift.
Lol...I have found that a nice power with the extra buttons are great...I just bring it back every 3 months
These controllers are amazing, and if money was no object I'd snag 5 of em. But with my gamesir se hall effect wired controller do to arrive any day now. I don't think I'm buying anything without halleffect sticks ever again.
You have a sick place, dude. Thanks for the video!
Thank you, and you are welcome.
The g7 aim Becuz of Hall effect sticks is terrible for fps completely disagree…
My elite controller just went in on me 😮💨 thanks bro bro
What'd you replace it with? My 5 year old scuf is finally giving out on me. And the prices have gotten a little silly.
@upthecreekyt I got a new one from Microsoft, but I customized them so they would be okay. Try to check the sight and see if you can customize it.
This was really helpful, I have the Razor Wolverine V2 Chroma and I like it but looking to see if I should buy something different
my opinion, the elites suck, left bumper always goes out after 3-6 months of use, already gone through 3 of them, great video though

Best game pad reviews hands down! Im surprised you didnt mention the nacon revolution x. Just picked one up on prime day for 60$ and wow what an amazing controller! The software is really good and the thumb sticks are buttery smooth.
Thanks
Welcome!!
I want to start off by saying that I have had an obsession as of late to find my perfect controller. For anyone that finds this comment, I hope you find it useful.
Battle Beaver:
Love the stick tension and accuracy on these but the back buttons effing suck
Dual sense edge: Currently my main
This thing just feels so good in your hands. The half moon paddles feel amazing, but in competitive Apex Legends I need 4 paddles not 2. The function keys are pretty much useless. Only a slight stick drift after 6 months of heavy use but hey, I can replace those at anytime for $20.
Gamesir G7 SE:
This controller feels awesome for the price, but there is like NO AIM ASSIST with this controller in games. I don't know what it is, but if I am playing on controller then... I want aim assist.
Elite Series 2:
Stick drift. New or used. Always stick drift. The thumbstick tension adjuster and paddles are the only good things about this controller
Razor Wolverine v2 chroma:
My god this controller is comfy and the extra bumpers is just pure genius. I loved everything about this controller, BUT and a big BUT, the factory deadzone! even setting it in the software to 1 is just awful. Aim feels very muddy for fine movements.
Thrustmaster eswap X Pro:
When you said the thumbsticks feel amazing, they do! SO very accurate, but there is something about the sensitivity curves on these that don't provide linear aim consistency for me. I found myself going back to the Dual Sense Edge.
Scuf Instinct Pro:
Stick drift right out of the box, but the thumbstick tension feels great for aiming. I personally didn't like the new paddle system.
Aim PS5 Pro:
Currently on expedited order. Used my code Stallions baby. Will update my review soon.
Thanks for putting out great content on these controllers. Not everyone can afford to try out several controllers like you and I!
Very interesting and informative post. Thank you and stay healthy.
Will be picking up my ThrustMaster eSwap Pro S later today. Looking forward to some Warzone action using NXG mini sticks.
Great info! Thanks for sharing

Unrelated to the controller stuff but the voice you do around the 42:48 mark of the video is really funny/different from your own voice, not many people can do that. Have you ever considered doing any voice acting work?

Perfect balance of comedy and info as always.
