These babies become a part of the family and it hurts just as bad when you lose one. So sorry for your hurt and pain Rick. We love you and are here for you.

Mr T Mr Rick has you even how painfully that is to see for you and many the important thing is you are there that part of a soul will never be forgotten for Mr T or you you never left his side and that he won't forget your choice's like that are very hard ya wanted him to survive tho your eyes was what he saw and the pain he had was relieved bcuz of you now look what came to you in a special way Ransom ya hoped and. Nothing wrong for that you will see some kind of likeness in him loners are loners tho in your situation ya got blessed with your gorgeous and silly animals and are not now sorry for such a loss tho look ya got a winner and ya don't have to lose to be a winner it broke my heart tho ya did what ya could k
I haven't been on a horse since my last one coliced. Over 30 yrs ago. I loved him and he was a rescue before that was even a common term for throw away horses. Pride ran the fence line in a field when I drove past up to the boarding stable entrance. He was my pal. Can't bear the thought of losing another.😢 Run in peace, Mr. T.
He did not pass of old age. Something acute happend to him, Rick said Mr T was still hanging out with his girlfriend in the morning and rapidly got worse from there. That's not “passing from old age“, he had seizures! Honestly, it could've been many things. I personally suspect maybe something like a stroke, because he seemed to have neurological issue (like not feeling parts of his body & seizing up)
@@jeanfish7 Sure it is, but it's not the old age that kills. Old age makes organs malfunction and that ultimately leads to death. Age doesn't kill you, but heart failure does.
I watched this again, and want to absolutely do a shout out to Rick for the presence of mind to have even filmed this in progress, keeping his cool, and still providing a valuable lesson.....unbelievable. He did everything right in this, providing comfort to his dying horse and painfully allowing the dying process. Mad respect to Rick! RIP Tanner.....
Yes, & also understanding that Buddy wasn't dumb. He knew exactly what was going on. To see him that involved in watching his best friend's grave dug! He wasn't afraid of that machine, he wanted to know where his friend was going! He watched him put in, then covered up again! Amazing! He was anxious, he wanted to go rescue him! I'm glad he had a friend to stay w/ him. Animals mourn as ppl do. 🐎😿😿
Me too, don't know how it showed up. Losing your horse, having to decide to put them down, it is all so hard. Five years later and still stop and pause at where my horses are buried. This is an educational video for horse owners.
And the last gift Tanner gave you is you didn't have to shoot him. You did everything right, Rick. You gave him a wonderful life. And he gave you one, too. Rest in Peace, Mr. T. Live in peace, Rick and Buddy.
My horse Chief died exactly the same way. It was the height of summer, no vets available, or friends. Felt completely helpless and guilty for not being able to do anything. I found watching your video a great help even though Chief died 7 years ago. He was about 35. Thank you and very sorry for your loss.
The majority of us cried WITH you and FOR you as well. We haven't just grown attached to the boys, we grew attached to YOU as well my friend. I'm so sorry for your loss. You gave him life, a GREAT life, and he had his dad at his side, right to the very end. We mourn with you and for you. I'm so sorry Rick. Thank you for documenting this, it would have been a heck of a shock to just see him suddenly gone. I'd rather be right with you through this than left out in the cold.
I feel the same ...and poor buddy I can see the pain in his eyes ..he is in shock..bless his heart...it's good you two have each other n you have us too..I Love You Boys.🐎💔🐎💜
I hope Rick doesn’t watch this back and have regrets about having done things differently. There shouldn’t be any. Rick gave Mr. T the dignity he deserved to the very end. Thank you for sharing these last moments of that good old man and letting us mourn too. He’s resting now.
He gave him dignity while standing by and watching his horse go through a series of seizures, gasping for air, eyes rolling back into his head to film for views on RUclips. Absolutely disgusting and I hate when people flock to someone that hasn’t the slightest clue on how to care for animals. He may pet them, and don’t forget that fly spray, but if you don’t know what to do in case of immediate emergency, you shouldn’t have an animal. That horse obviously hasn’t had any care in a very long time. Look at his hooves. His skin. His weight.
@@ranchycowgirl88 There will be a point in time where an animal will slowly waste away, no matter how much care you give them & how many trips to the vet you take them to. It’s like with us when we get old, skinny, & fragile. Gradually we need a person’s help for basic tasks. It’s similar with animals.
I remember first watching your videos with Buddy and Mr. T and just laughing so much with how silly both of them would act. Mr. T has lived a wonderful life and I am 100% sure he is smiling down at you and Buddy while he’s galloping around with his friends up in heaven. You did the best you could to give him such a great life and you definitely succeeded in that. Stay strong Rick, I know this is very hard for you as I definitely relate to when my pets have passed being as devastated as I was. Mr. T would not want you feeling sad, he’d want you feeling happy and remembering the good times he had with you and Buddy throughout his life. You’re a great man Rick, and you definitely gave Mr. T a life worth living:)
You were willing to shoot him to end his suffering, that's the ultimate act of selflessness; putting aside your own feelings to end his suffering. He certainly had a great life and treated so well and was allowed to be a horse without silly rules and boundaries, because he's a horse. Rest in peace Mr T, love from across the pond 💚
I’m one of the “Gun People” and never had interest in horses, but anytime I seen a video of Mr.T and Buddy I clicked instantly. I don’t get emotional ever, but hearing your voice when contemplating putting him down really hit hard. It was a relief knowing you didn’t have to do that. I know your not religious but I’m praying for you and Buddy. All the best Rick.
Its a very hard thing, having to shoot your own. Euthing from a vet costs hundreds by comparison, and just say, if it is still on its feet but something broken, they can struggle against the needle, and thrash about as they go down, not a nice thing to watch, a bullet is much cleaner.
@@louisecassidy5991 Only if you know how to do it, have the appropriate gun for the job, have the skill to do it and have the emotional strength to do it. Otherwise, you can shoot that horse full of holes before you get the one that kills him. I know someone and their horse that happened too. It was brutal. I keep money set aside to have a vet come out to euthanize. I found my horse with a shattered leg one morning. It was a blessing that my vet could and would come out. It was his day off, but he came anyway. I am forever greatful for that. If he could not have come, I would have had to call my husband home from work to shoot him. Apparently, I am still bothered by finding my horse in such a state of suffering. Because, when I started to watch this video, I realized that I just couldn’t.
@@BelindaTN I know it’s a hard watch I had to stop and walk away but came back but I skipped a few parts it killed me I couldn’t sleep cry mostly of the night 😭. Have a good day
@@gerrycoleman7290 Indeed! Already knowing a vet can't make a house call and that the instruction is to turn off your sentiment for the sake of exercising skills in favour of ending suffering is asking the unimaginable. Thank you Ryan for remembering what it's all about. Big T's last lesson to the world is that Mustangs are parents and teachers to their humans, even as they leave us. He left like that in thanks and love for Rick.
When Mr. T was placed in his grave, it almost looked like he was running. I think that's pretty fitting, as I imagine he's galloping across the open Plains of horsey heaven. Chasing all the mares he could ever want. Not a bit or barn witch in sight. You gave him a great horsey life. He truly was a great horse. RIP Mr. T.
It's been a year but seeing it now. So sorry for your loss. He had a peaceful passing because of you. You did right by him and to me, he seemed comforted by your presence. And thanks so much for posting this so we can mentally prepare for this day to come for our horses.
This horse has been with you longer than I’ve been alive. Can’t imagine how you and buddy must be feeling. We’re all with you, Rick. Edit: just finished watching the video, I was bawling along with you. How hard it must have been to come to the decision to put him out of his misery, but it was the right one. You made sure he was not alone. He was a good horse, and I’m sure he taught you a lot of what you know now. He might be gone but all those lessons and the love you have for him will stay with you. It’s never easy when our animals reach their time.
I was bawling too right when I saw the intro picture, it reminded me so much of my gelding when I had to say goodbye. Such a hard thing to do but thankful Rick could be there by his side the entire time.
I can't believe that Mr T has gone how I look forward to seeing the whole team together it's going to be so hard getting use to not having the good old boy around anymore. This is the worst part of having pets when they pass away it leaves a massive hole in our hearts. Poor Buddy watching Tanner getting buried it was like he was saying what are you doing to my friend covering him in dirt, he never once tried to run away from the tractor. I really feel awful for Rick he must be going through it having Mr T in his life for so long, at least Rick gave him the best life he could ever have and he was there to comfort him at the end. RIP Tanner 🙏
When our mare died, the other horses stood on her grave. Our vet told us that they would stand there until her scent faded. It was the saddest thing to witness. Sorry for your loss.
We had a mare that died, and she had a stud colt that stood over his momma and cried until we removed her from the field. It was the saddest thing ever.
There's no worse feeling than when you don't know what's wrong, what's happening to your horse, your waiting on your vet and your helpless. Just totally helpless. Minutes feel like hours. I feel your pain and heartbreak because I have been where you are. I pray that you never have to go through this again. I am so sorry you had to go through this.
You gave that horse a great life, and kindness till the very end. He even got to have a nice little girlfriend to make him feel like a young stallion again for a little while. Rest in Peace, old man Mr. T
Run wild and free Tanner God left the gate open, you will be sorely missed, never forgotten and always deeply loved. Thank you for all you have done for so many. The most breathtaking, majestic, and wild American Mustang.
Couldn't hold back the tears as soon as I read the title, and still crying. You watch these guys for so many years and they start to feel like family. I'm so sorry. This hurts us all. Tanner was an absolute legend and always will be.
30 years was a blessing. You took great care of him! I was crying like a baby and this was the first I saw this family. Buddy is amazing showing emotion. Animals are affected just as we are.
his teeth look really good for that age. Mine had lost most of his molars at 28 and needed special food to keep weight on. Seeing it now I guess he had kind of a stroke?
I never had a horse or an animal who I needed to have a vet come over. But I had a lot of real scares with cats and dogs that I would be alone in the house and had no way to rush them to the vet because I didn’t have a way to get them to the vet. I have been extremely lucky and managed to not lose any pets that way, but I can tell you that it is the most helpless feeling in the whole world when it happens.
My heart goes out to you two years later Rick 😔 its heart breaking to lose a horse. I almost lost one of mine to a stroke by the grace of God he pulled through and will forever be a pasture pet. Fat and happy gelding. *hugs*
This wasn’t painful Rick. This was all going on in his poor old brain. This is what I would wish for myself. Out to pasture grazing, down, then gone. No long term suffering, no pain, just confusion. You gave him a wonderful life. I’m crying with you.
Rick I believe your protective presence with Mr. T in his last minutes was a great comfort for him. He knew you would keep him safe until his last breath when he was so vulnerable. You did a great job in taking care of him over the years, much love and care for Mr. T. Prayers for you and Buddy.
Still thinking of good boy Mr. T. I'll never forget him, he was a great teacher to so many people. Rick, you, Mr. T, Buddy and Ransom changed the way I observe not just horses but other animals, too. Mokey and Stewie are great assistant teachers as well. What a horse!
From the brutal meat farm as a colt, to the heavenly pastures on YOUR farm Rick, Mr. T was able to live a great life. Mr T. appreciated you comforting him in his final moments. R.i.p. Mr.T
I think Buddy understood, maybe not 100% but most of it. Buddy had no reason to stand there and watch the dirt covering Mr. T., without understanding something. He had no other reason to be near the tractor He had no other reason to neigh.
One I lost had a 3 month old colt. We left her overnight for him to integrate the fact, the next day ran all the mares and foals they'd been living with into the little place we'd put them, then ran the whole lot back to the paddock, all his brothers and sisters and all the other mares. He never looked back! He didn't suffer at all from an early weaning, nor showed any sign of distress.
Especially with the start he had where Rick saved him because everyone was afraid of him if I remember correctly, it's been yrs since I seen this account, turned our I've been unsubed n I definitely didn't unsub
God I just bawled when buddy went to see him. And the pain in your voice I'm glad you didn't have to shoot him. I think that was the last gift he gave you. Take care Rick. Mr T you were a good horse!!
---You said it right, with Tanner dying before Rick having to shoot him. What a valiant horse he was to the very last moments! Heartbreaking video but I’m touched that he kept recording to keep the vet up to date and all of us saying ‘Good Bye’ from all over the world. He was such a good boy!
I am not a horse guy... but in this small, strange youtube way, Buddy, mokie and Mr T have become a part of my life ... so sad to see him go. I'm so sorry Rick. Being in England, not sure what I can do, but if there is anything, please let me know. I hope T is in open fields chasing frisky mares.
I’m 1 minute in... and I’m already balling... I loved that horse so much.. I have watched almost every one of your videos. You taught me to work with my horse and I’m so thankful for you to share ur knowledge and animals with us.💕

When my beautiful Sabre died, we buried him in the pasture. His best pal screamed, and cried, and threw himself down, on the grave. Horses mourn, for sure.
When I had to put my old ottb down, his best friend/herd mate, laid down on his burial site and wouldn't leave. He laid there everyday for about 2 months. I know how it feels.
Saw the title of this vid and said "what! No!"...... sobbed with you. Now I can't help thinking of him running free with his herd of mares charging over a hill of waving grasslands.....in charge, proud, strong. An American symbol

Oh I hope Rick sees this comment first. It doesn’t feel like it now but he really did give Mr. T the best last days and that’s all you can hope for on this earth. If I had to be a horse I would have picked Mr. T,s life.❤️❤️
RIP Mr. T :( What a great horse. Still remember him prancing when he thought he had chased away the helicopter, which was a lovely video given he was captured by one. He had a great long life.
@@eli-sq7lr It's the featured video when you click on this channel. It's called "Horse Runs Off & Spooks When Helicopter Takes Off - Sacking Out Horses To Things In Air Part 2 of 2"

Seeing how sad Buddy feels really breaks my heart. If people think horses don't care they are wrong. Buddy really cares and it hurts seeing how many times he's calling for him...
I'm so sorry to learn of this, Rick. I haven't been to your channel in awhile, and this is heartbreaking news. This was difficult to watch, but I'm sure it will help many people to recognize when their own horses are about to go. He was a good old horse, well cared for and loved. Thirty years is a long life for a horse. I'm glad you allowed Buddy to sniff him, so that he understands what happened. Poor Buddy, he must miss his friend. Lucky he has horse neighbors to keep him company.
Rick, I have watched you for six years and have never commented before. I am so grateful for this video, I needed to see this majestic horse one more time. You took exceptional care of him, gave him a great life. I will keep you and Buddy in my prayers.
You did a great job. Sounds like u gave him a great life. He’s an old horse & it was just his time. Nothing u could have done but you’re a good man to worry so about your horse.
I say good for you documenting this. It is important for owners to know the full picture of the full commitment we need to make to our horses. It isn’t all just fun rides, braided manes and treat time. This is the reality of things.
Omg Mr. T 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I'm so very sorry 💔💔😔 Everything from the shallow breathing to the falling over to the seizures is how my old pom girl had her last day before I put her down. It seemed like it could have been a heart issue as was with my girl. Heart failure usually happens with older animals and the symptoms all looked the same. I cried right along with you. Mr. T had a very wonderful and long life. He loved you and he's not suffering anymore ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yes ! Tanner was tired it was time for this good old boy to run with his heard ! In heaven! I cry along with Rick ! I’m glad Rick was home time he passed not finding him in pasture gone! At least he was there with him giving him some loving! My heart breaks for buddy as well hearing him calling for tanner!😢 I think Rick said buddy been around him since he was baby! So he lost his big brother! But I know he has rick keep him going keeping him busy! I don’t know if Rick took him out for a ride since tanner passing! But might do him some good daddy take him out !
I had heard of Mr. It's passing on Lester's page when it happened, but I watched the video, today. Wow. What a bitch to have to go through. That happened with my 100 lb. big black dog
Sorry. Can't seem to type right now. If I had taken him. He would have died, scared and confused in the car. He was able to pass with me, and his dog brother, Dave there for him just like Mr T was able to with you. But the helplessness of it all is horrible. You did all you could do. And sorry to dredge this stuff up. But your video was powerful and I just wanted to let you know that, which I'm sure you do. . Just shook the shit out of me. It was tough to watch, but somehow, I'm glad I did. Thanks for sharing
Hey. Oh my God Rick I'm so sorry!!!!RIP Mr. T, Tanner, You're a good boy and always have been and will be!!!! I don't know if I can watch, but Rick, my heart goes out to you my friend!!!
You said it, "This sucks". Thank you for giving us the honor of sharing Mr T's last lesson. I am so sorry that you had to go that alone. IT SUCKS! Don't let your mind take you to the "what ifs." He ran across the rainbow bridge and will be waiting. In the meantime, he will be collecting the biggest herd of mares. Sending condolences as you did for my ol' man. May your heartache ease soon.
That's a beautiful way to express it: the honor of sharing Mr T's last lesson. That horse taught thousands of people willing to listen and learn. And gave us the hardest lesson of all in the end. Saying goodbye
Rick, Buddy and Mr T are ambassadors for all horses welfare. They have taught countless people and will continue to do so. My condolences to Rick. Mr T was a great horse
Im so sorry for your loss Rick.. May he gallop happily and endlessly in the golden fields of heaven, soft green grass beneath his hooves and beautiful blue skies above. Rest In Peace Mr. T.
Oh, halfway through, this is just extremely hard to watch. Poor old man.. I swear you could see Buddy’s “expression” when he sniffed Mr.T’s nostrils. This is so sad..
Earlier, Rick mentions how he expects Buddy to run once the tractor came. It’s just heartbreaking to watch how he stayed by Mr. T the whole time, calling for him despite being fearful. For the final time, Rest In Peace Mr. T. We will be here to support you Rick.
I’ve been watching your videos since I was 14. I’m 24 now. This was painful and heartbreaking to see, but an important message of how horses are like family and more than just a pet. Mr. T was such a wonderful horse. I’ll miss seeing him in your videos. I’m so sorry for your loss, Rick. My thoughts are with you.
I'm in tears... I have a young horse and can't imagine what it's like to be with them that long and face this day. Mr. T was such a cool guy, I'm sorry for your loss.
Absolutely, it's the bittersweet truth of any living creature. What I find to be the bigger picture is that you provided a fellow being with shelter, comfort, nutrition, and love which is really the most important thing someone can do.
I will tell you the brutal truth. It’s hurts so much it leaves a hole in your heart and my mare was with me for 19 years and I raised her from a baby. It felt like I lost a child, I had a very strong bond with her. 😭
Tanner was a good horse. Proud of you Rick, you did a good job when it was tough. Hard to watch, but glad you shared the experience. I think you will help others on how to deal with something like this with character.
I’m seeing this again a few years later and i just wanted to comment since i never did back then. Rick, we have several differing views, but you damn sure know how to love and care for a horse. That’s why i stuck around on your channel, because you know horses and your educational content has helped many. Mr T knew he was loved until the very end, he died at home, next to his human, with your voice and his friends calls in his ears. That’s all a horse can hope for when it comes to their time. 30 is an incredible age to make it to, and he only got there because of you. Despite how graphic and heartbreaking it is to watch, this video is important to show people the reality of owning horses on your own property/being their sole carer. You get the privilege of spending your days with them, but the price you pay is dealing with their last. The love you felt for Mr T was evident in your voice. Thank you for giving him such a wonderful life, and thank you for being strong enough to share such an intimate event with us. I hope your grief has become easier a few years later, but I know dear old Mr T will always be on your mind and in your heart.
Mr T was most likely quite out of it and unaware of what was happening at that point ... It sounded bad and looked bad, but it was probably worse to watch than it was for him at the time. Very, very sad. I lost my 30 year old heart horse last June in a very similar way. Only time a horse breaks your heart is when they cross the Rainbow Bridge.
I balled my eyes out watching this ! I never met his horses but wow they have my ❤️ I felt so bad for rick and buddy! I’m just glad Rick was home he was with him till the end! Not rick finding him in the pasture!
@@adriannelake7505 Yeah, you are right. It looks like animals are in pain during serious seizures like that, but most likely they are unaware of anything going on.
RIP Mr T. His stamp and head always reminded me of my old mare. She too went down and couldn’t get up again, she was 32. I cried with you and knew I would when I saw the title of the video. He had a great life with you, was loved and looked after. It was meant to be that he passed whilst you were away from him for a few minutes, he saved you the total heartbreak of doing what you would have had to have done, and would never forgot. That was his last gift to you. The first video I watched of yours, which I remember made me laugh so much, was when you put the giant cockerel in the paddock, do you remember that? Remember those and many good times. Best wishes from Kent, England.
I’m sorry for your loss. He was having seizures when he was just pawing at the ground, before the grand mal seizure. It’s comforting to know that they are unaware during the seizure. He gave you the last final gift of not having to making that hard choice. Sounds like he was nearly 30? That’s a long good life you gave him.
He was born wild and died loved by many thousands. In the intervening years he, and you, have taught countless lessons to us stupid humans. The ultimate lesson, being present and calm at the end. To take advice and to be prepared to spare his suffering had he not passed when he did. Thank you for sharing this video, all of it, Buddy's reaction, the burial. You always show it how it is. Bless you
I am so sorry Rick, I had a similar experience with a dog of mine. He had kidney failure and went into seizures. I went in to get my gun crying all the way and God had mercy on both of us. He was gone when I got back outside. Love from Oklahoma
Rick I am so sorry for your loss. It’s terrible to watch Mr. T suffer like that. Thank God you were at least able to be there with him in his final moments instead of him laying outside alone by himself. He had a wonderful life with you.
He had a life long home and he was loved. Not being able to shoot him... I can relate to that. It's hard to think straight when an animal that's a part of your life is very sick and getting to the vet or getting the vet to you just doesn't work out... Condolences from Australia.

He has been the best mustang ambassador even 3 yrs past his death ❤
He passed of old age. You provided him with a good life and lots of love and he knew you loved him. You could tell he loved you.
I think so too... he came to the end of his life
I completely agree with you !
He did not pass of old age. Something acute happend to him, Rick said Mr T was still hanging out with his girlfriend in the morning and rapidly got worse from there. That's not “passing from old age“, he had seizures! Honestly, it could've been many things. I personally suspect maybe something like a stroke, because he seemed to have neurological issue (like not feeling parts of his body & seizing up)
@@kennikitty stroke is usually a " older" , " elder" illness.
Losing your horse, having to decide to put them down,
it is all so hard.

As a vet (to be...) I can tell that it was. Being there for a horse in a very difficult situation it helps.

I hope Rick doesn’t watch this back and have regrets about having done things differently. There shouldn’t be any. Rick gave Mr. T the dignity he deserved to the very end. Thank you for sharing these last moments of that good old man and letting us mourn too. He’s resting now.
AHMEIN: no regrets!!!!!
we will see another horse that has mr t behavior hopefully he might get reincarnate
His skin. His weight.
@@ranchycowgirl88 lol name checks out. So blessed to have a ranchycowgirl vet in the comment sections and in MY tread? 😘
Tanner saved rick from the pain of shooting him
I’m one of the “Gun People” and never had interest in horses, but anytime I seen a video of Mr.T and Buddy I clicked instantly.
Thanks Ryan. I imagine your sentiments will mean a great deal to Rick.
RIP Mr. T.
I had a dream about him last night and that's exactly what he was doing! 🐎💜

It's been a year but seeing it now. So sorry for your loss. He had a peaceful passing because of you. You did right by him and to me, he seemed comforted by your presence. And thanks so much for posting this so we can mentally prepare for this day to come for our horses.
The more I think about it, Mr. T didn't want to get on the trailer. He wanted to stay right there with you and Buddy. R.I.P. Mr. T.
Bawled through the entire video....
That helpless feeling of not being able to get a vet out is the worst feeling ever. I'm so sorry for your loss.

It's good that Buddy decided to attend Mr. T's funeral and didn't get scared of the tractor.
He knew. This broke my heart.

RIP Mr. T. :( He passed with a good person/best friend next to him trying to help. He lived a long great life.
Listening to his cries while he seized was so heartbreaking. Rest in peace, Mr. T.
@@adriannelake7505 I love what you wrote " Only time a horse breaks your heart is when they cross the Rainbow Bridge" 💕
I KNOW 🥱🥱
I’m so sorry Rick , you were the very best owner to Mr. T could ever have had 😥 . I’m thankful you didn’t have to put him down .
The way Buddy touched T’s nose at the end, as if he was saying goodbye to his old friend. 🥺
I’m so sorry, Rick. Mr. T was truly spectacular.
You did everything right Sir, my background is Hospice care and you stood by him to the end.......know this in your heart
Rick I am so sorry for your loss. It’s terrible to watch Mr. T suffer like that. Thank God you were at least able to be there with him in his final moments instead of him laying outside alone by himself. He had a wonderful life with you.
Poor baby at least you were there with him in his final time. May he rest in peace and run free.
He had a life long home and he was loved. Not being able to shoot him... I can relate to that. It's hard to think straight when an animal that's a part of your life is very sick and getting to the vet or getting the vet to you just doesn't work out... Condolences from Australia.
Oh God, I’m so sorry Rick! You and I don’t agree on a lot of things, but you gave that horse the best life possible and loved him every minute.
There is nothing you would not have done for this beautiful horse. He loved you, he loved Buddy and he loved the life you provided for him. My love and thoughts to you and Buddy.🐴💕
So sorry for your loss. You can see in his eyes, the comfort he felt when you touched his face. Peace.
I'm so sorry about MR. T !! 💔😢😭HE WAS A BEAUTIFUL HORSE. HES NOW A CHAMPION ANGEL WITH ALL THE OTHER CHAMPION HORSE ANGELS!! RUN BABY RUN!! NOW YOUR FREE!! I have loved horses my entire life so when something like this happens it breaks my heart. I just hope and pray for your grief to be as easy as grief can be. I can tell listening to YOUR VOICE JUST how much Mr. T meant to you. FOR YOU TO CRY IS A GOOD HUMAN WITH A LOVING ❤ HEART. THE world needs more MEN LIKE YOU. I FEEL BAD FOR Poor BUDDY!! ITS GOING TO TAKE SOME TIME FOR HIM TO GET PAST GRIEVING BUT I HOPE THE LITTLE MARE IS HIS ANGEL HERE ON EARTH!! ALL YOUR ANIMALS LOVED MR. T AND I WISH THEM LOVE AND HAPPINESS!! THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME BE WITH MR. T. I WASNT STANDING BY YOU BUT in ❤ I HAD MY HAND ON MR. T's ❤ WITH YOU !! My tears are still falling. I cry and my ❤ goes out to every animal I see hurting or dying. God's speed to all of you!!

You was comforting an old friend.I cried with you.
good ole Mr. T we love you, rest in peaceful green pastures..
had me in tears, taught me lots of lessons
I'm so sorry for all you have gone through with Tanner yesterday. I know you were wondering what to do, but you were already doing exactly what Mr T needed. He was most likely beyond medical help. You were there protecting him and comforting him while he was going through the dying process.
Well said. Agreed.
He was beyond medical help. That running, he wasn't in pain. He was already running in greener pastures. I'm glad he didn't have to shoot him. That's something that never leaves you.
There are no words to bring you comfort, Rick. Just know that all of us hold you in love and sympathy.
I felt the saddness in your tears and voice - I am so very sorry. That's got to be the most helpless feeling, and I send hugs. Definitely something so many of us fear and push the thoughts away of when it comes to our four legged friends.
As a horse owner I know how bad that hurt,im so sorry..I cried with you..
