*When Ershad reviews an Iphone, I'm always a bit sceptical* as he himself suggests he uses the iPhone primarily. So I do understand his underlying bias for the iPhone.
*Firstly,* the Pixel 6 pro/7 pro both take superior photos at night from the rear cam unlike the blotchy black spots we've on Iphone 13/14/pro in shadows.
Also, Zoom photos are significantly better on Pixel 7 as ershad said but so are the night-mode selfies. *The iPhone uses screen flash in the selfie night-mode which you forgot to mention.* Pixel has screen flash option too with some Gcam's allowing night-mode with it.
Btw, you're suddenly appreciating the over-saturated look of the iphones which you absolutely hated on older Samsung's. *Pixel is much more natural/neutral now.* Basically, apart from the rear portrait-mode, Pixel 7 wins in all rear photos department from both the main and ultra-wide lens.
Secondly, I've yet to meet even a techie user who uses Dolby vision HDR on iPhones or 10 bit HDR on Samsung's/Pixel especially with its limited overall compatibility. *I don't appreciate how you skipped the fact that Pixel 7 has much superior dynamic range in 4k60fps from both rear and front cameras.*
For newbies who don't know, Iphone 12/13/14 etc have poor dynamic range in 4k60fps, you need to toggle down to 4k30fps for HDR. *In-fact you forgot to mention that Pixel 7/pro is the only phone that can do all rear lens switching in 4k60fps* ...S22U and Iphone 14 pro can do that only in 4k30fps.
Lastly, I do admit that Iphone 14 is indeed slightly better in 4k30fps normal/cinematic/videos *but Pixel has drastically reduced the lead Apple had in videos for years.*
Mostly, users take much more photos than videos and Pixel is clearly superior in that and now even with excellent videos on offer.
*It's just a different perspective, nothing against our guy Ershad.* Great review.

I just want to highlight one thing Sumedh. iPhone is not over-saturated. It is true to life. It has a wider colour gamut capture with DCI-P3. This is very important for photographers because you have more depth in the colours for post processing.
@@ershadkaleebullah2128 Actually the landscape greens + blues in skies a noticeably boosted along with the distinct yellow skin-tones and warm hues in many situations.
Added punchy contrast and sharpness is also quite visible.
Btw, *Google does support DCI-P3 since the Pixel 4 and even the Gcam ports/mods have it.* Just take care while sharing those images to other devices as Google tends to switch back to sRGB, especially for screenshots.

@@xdadev I beg to differ. They aren’t really boosted tbh. They almost always never are. Oh also, the comment that I have a bias for iPhone is unjustified. Because, contrary to popular belief. My primary phone is actually an Android. Now, the Pixel 7 Pro. Earlier S22 Ultra.

It's funny that you didn't notice the shift in Apple's image processing with added brightness and contrast since the iphone 12.
How could you miss that Apple actually uses a flat profile with even skin-tones for less shadows and skin-smoothening when Human photography aspect is involved.
Or how could you not see the bluer skies or greener greens in landscape shots is quite amusing.
Or that you never saw how iphones now dramatically boost the gradients to make sunsets look epic.
*I'm saying I'm fine with all of it but to call it natural/neutral just like a pro-dslr/full frame is just landing into another of those Apple's grand marketing scheme.*

It is no DCIP3 but the new Photonic engine that boosts the color even when compared to ip13 series. And i would anyday take the more all round camera package of the iphone over slightly better photos of Pixel in certain situations.
The iphone produces vibrant colours where as the pixel is more true to life with details nd the noise which it is capturing in some photos can be fixed with an update

@3:22 yes Ershad it had teething issues with Image processing algorithms, you should revisit this comparison or do a similar comparison after the pixel has gotten a few camera related updates.

A very helpful comparison definitely pixel's potrait mode is disappointing. They were the king of that. I still believe they should provide a 3x telephoto lens instead of periscope. Who takes zoomed pics in daily life. Plus colour of the skin is accurate but seems alot contrasty that hides many highlights. But my only confusion is how to confirm if the image is over saturated or have dcpi3 wide colour gamut. Because we can't see that in our normal 8 bit display. I feel the iphone is brightening and putting extra sharpness to pics which lead highlights to lose their texture . The pic feels hard in some areas cz of over sharpness.

@@rolins3279 Really? If I touch focus on a highlighted area then iPhone will be able to take a balanced exposure photo? Default exposure is extremely unbalanced on the iPhone, it simply can't handle HDR as proficiently as Pixels do.

video colors looks much better on the Pixel, microphone miles better, voice sound natural on the Pixel, most of iphone photos tend to be saturated, pixel more true to life
I think those small editing details its easy to correct I believe year by year cameras became better & better. For me wont loose sleep or waiting till 2026 phone Also a $599 Pixel7 wont make $$ dent Like I phone 14 or 14Pro Aντιος :) BTW next year will see Pixel Vid's will be very compatible!!!! If we do a little maths trick, we can roughly buy two pixel 7s in the price of an iPhone 14. Keeping this in mind, the pixel 7 destroys iPhone 14 in photography dept. iPhone 14's pics look like oppo-ish and vivo-ish with this much of saturation and contrast in some scenarios.
Wrong math, pixel 7 cost 56 k and iPhone 14 cost 72k on Flipkart. 16k difference.

I think the cost of apple products is covered good by its ecosystem and long life for updates, also battery is good and chipsets are overpowered
My only problem with the Pixel 7 is that Ultrawide angle camera is not even ultraaa widee in the first place. The purpose of the ultrawide camera is to take in as much of the subject into the frame as possible. Not ideal for shooting landscapes/monuments etc.
Its called "FISH EYE" what you have tend to learnt to be Ultra Wide definition.

I own a pixel and iphone. Iphone video is leaps ahead. Portrait shots are also better on the iphone. On saying that, they're both very good and can't go wrong with either. Photography wise I think it's purely subjective.

Don't worry bro I also have that sound in my pixel 7. It just Ois camera rattling. It is usual in most of the phone with OIS. If you still have doubt. Open the camera app and shake the phone you will won't hear the sound.

Photography is simply awesome hdr 🔥🔥🔥. Even iphone 14 pro cannot beat pixel 7 in photography. Pixel 7 is full of Al it changes the settings according to our usage for example: Screen brightness, Adaptive battery usage,etc. The pixel features are very cool and useful as well. One of the main feature I use is Flip the phone to turn on DND mode. Once a Pixel user always a Pixel user 🔥🔥🔥.

Unfortunately, in all the reviews about Google Pixel 7 no one mentions anything about the mediocre display brightness.
I really wanted to get away from my iPhone 11 and Apple "ecosystem" as such, I purchased a Google Pixel 7.
I fiddled around with the display for a while and even at 100% (maximum setting) Google Pixel 7 is not as bright as the iPhone 11 at 70 - 75%.
Not only that, but by changing the viewing angle, the display becomes yet more disappointing.
I'm sorry, Google. I returned the Pixel 7 and purchased an iPhone 13.

Not a mobile photography fan but, guys y'all need to accept the fact that iPhone's videography is far better than any phones in the market and alsomost giving competition to the videography cameras if u shoot them in prores and edit later, but as of now with the price range, i guess pixel is really doing good with the photos in the dark and HDR modes and I would personally choose pixel for the mobile and buy any camera with the difference price of iPhone 14 and pixel 7😉

If you use the phone only for pictures...I prefer the value of all aspects. I prefer iphone for build quality, dont overheat, better screen, service care. Pixel for me is the phone to use for max 2 years, iphone for 4 years. So you decide.
