Extremely pleased with my *_Pixel 7_* -- best phone experience I've had, as a former Pixel 5, Nexus 4 & 5, and OnePlus 3, 5, & 6 user
What about sound quality. They are the worst . Not a single review said that .even s9 better sound
@@ahmedaggd9923 sound quality is totally fine for me. I don't use my phone as a stereo; it's loud enough & clear enough for me. And I do not care about other phones I _don't_ own.
How is the battery? Since, I'm hearing all reviews saying that it is Sub-par.
@@Simar2222 it's solid, obviously depending on what I do in a given day. It's not earth shattering, but I generally get through a day, sometimes with an occasional top up. The reason "reviews" are all over the place is because everyone's usage, settings & apps are all quite different.
I don't bother to measure SOT, etc. I just _use_ my phone ... all day.
@@Simar2222 it's below average. The battery life is just not working for me. I can't even get through to the end of the day. It might also be because I'm coming from a budget phone with a huge battery and I got used to it.
I had an iPhone 11 before I got my Pixel 7 Pro and I can honestly say I couldn't have made a better choice. I love all the different ways you can customize the layout and colors of the UI and scrolling through it so smooth. Best phone I've ever had.

@@juliancastillo7 The camera is the best camera I've ever had in a phone. It uses computational photography. Idk all the ins and outs of it but basically all the details in your photos end up looking sharper and more realistic. Also the zoom on it lets you take pictures from really far away while still maintaining a pretty impressive amount of detail.
@@juliancastillo7 The battery is decent. I listen to a lot of music and videos throughout the day so my battery probably drains faster than normal but I usually end the day with 20-30% left. It also charges shockingly fast.
How's the selfie camera? I hear people saying it's bad and grainy. I want to upgrade from my Iphone 11 and i want to make the right choice

I love the 7A that I've had a couple of weeks. Only two annoyances : the slow charging speed, and the placement of power and volume buttons (the volume buttons should be higher up than the power button)

charging needs to be 80% in half hour. that's a really good benchmark and something to aim for in future models. the long charging time is fine for most instances with a sleep over charge.
Agreed. But the charging time to full is very similar to my S22 Ultra with a 45W official charger (yes the new 45w Samsung charger).
So I am not sure why it gets so beat up about it when it's similar to iPhones and Samsung flagships.
Coming from an iphone 8, the pixel 7 pro has been a wonderful upgrade, I just wish the pixel launcher was more customizable. I don't want to download a third party launcher just so I can move or remove the at a glance widget
U can remove it though, turn it off
@@jTrendzzz it still just shows the date when you turn it off I mean completely move everything from that area of the home screen the only way your able to do it is if you are rooted
I use the Microsoft Launcher. Very good.

Got a new pixel 7. Good experience so far but an unexpected problem - the clock app refused to work before I update it. I nearly overslept on a working day because of it.
The battery charger and lack of fast charge option is my biggest bugbear with this phone.... oh and lack of pro mode on camera but at least software issues like this can be resolved with future updates.

The Pixel 7 Pro has been a fantastic phone for me. Like you mentioned, there is no single feature that stands out but the overall experience, especially the software experience is very cohesive and something that I'm enjoying quite a lot!

It is a great experience because its very first time i switched from iphone 12 pro max to pixel 7 although i have 11 pro max as well but I'm using my sim card on pixel 7 because of its camera and battery life and there is no battery health threat😊

Even the older pixel 4 (my main smartphone) is a pleasure to use. The camera still holds up well compared to the Galaxy S22 Ultra and it's smooth.
Kensleyinnocent I was disappointed in my Pixel 4 XL as it felt the screen was pretty dull and I had to crank it up to almost 80% before it looked decent.
What about the issue with the volume button falling off on some of the devices? Any idea?
So I just updated my phone to the Pixel 7 and i have tried 7 ways to Sunday to get it to connect to my PC. I have been to every web site I can find tryed every thing the web sites said to try and it still will not connect to windows 11 with 3.0 USB. My Samsung when i used it before this upgrade connected as soon as i plugged it in. What am I doing wrong? Someone please help.

Does anyone have issue with camera housing exploding? I live in area that is below freezing for pretty much 3 months out of the year and was tempted to buy this today at only 399.99 but seems more amd more are reporting this camera housing issue which has me worried and I don't even own it lol

I've got a Pixel 4A, planning to change it with the new Pixel 8 this year. I'm sure in the near future I won't buy anything else than a Pixel! I just love to see a foldable like the Galaxy Flip ☺️

I love my Pixel 7 that 1 small thing that bugs me is some games and apps will not go into full screen it has a black bar along the punch hole side of the screen but other than that it's a solid device

I ended up buying the Pixel 7 when there was a $200aud price drop and I am very happy that I got it (Feb 3). A big upgrade for me from Vivo X50 Lite.

Same here, bought for $917 from JB for 256gb, $432 cheaper than the new s23. I finally changed over based on price alone. I've been using Samsung phones for last 10 years and so far the P7 has surpassed my expectations; beyond my needs. I'm not a mobile gamer, so I cannot comment on graphic performance but phone is very snappy and battery life is good.
Big upgrade what was truly upgraded how does this phone enrich ur life differently tht the other phone didn't,, what do u use this phone for now tht u didn't use tht old phone for ,, what does this phone do different

• My old phone was Android 10 maxed and my Pixel 7 out of the box is Android 13 and can be upgraded furthermore.
• My old phone was lagging all the time. I hated that I couldn't whip out the camera app to witness an event to video; with my Pixel 7, I simply double click on the power button and I can film straight away - no lag.
• Higher rate of 90Hz of my Pixel 7 vs 60Hz on the old
• Picture quality on the Pixel 7, hands down way better (though I do know latest Vivo cameras are excellent too)
• I can open multiple apps (over a dozen including some games) on the Pixel 7 and experience no lag or screen jitter - can't do on old phone.
• Pixel exclusive features (too many to list here) makes my latest phone so enjoyable to be productive and entertained.

I can’t seem to make the camera flash to work when I’m taking photos in a very dark location, even when I’ve set it to automatic.
For a regular user like me, all tiny glitches mentioned are barely noticeable. The battery is getting better over time. I use it quite heavily during the day (gaming excluded) and I still get around 15% by 10pm. Very happy to trade in my iPhone 13 with Pixel 7

Me on the other hand used a Nexus 5, Oneplus One and S8 and feel all the Android ROMS are cheap compared to IOS, even if iOS has less features (most of android ones are gimmicks tho). It’s crazy that the best Android roms are community made and not from the manufacturer that you pay the money to.

@@Kats0unam1lol. Are you comparing the latest IPhones to old android flagships? Lol. It doesn't make sense at all. I've been having IPhones since 3GS and also Samsung and now I got the 7 pro and honestly, the best phone I have ever used. Don't talk about things you haven't used. The S8 is like 6-7 years old.

I am having problem with external mic on instagram, it just doesnt recognize. I am use external mic on Tiktok, native camera app, whatsapp etc, however it seems that Instagram doesn´t recognize external mic. Is anybody having the same issue?
Had the 7 for a few months now. My two main gripes are the speakers and their lack of low end and fullness(no where near as good as my old galaxy s9!) And the heavy handed hdr/sharpening post processing on Google camera App which I'm sure they could easily give option to turn off, but don't.
Great video. I liked the 7 but I returned it in the end. I would prefer a smaller form factor. The Pixel 5 was perfect for me and I'm considering going back to that and waiting to see what the 7A/8 bring to the table.
I think if they keep the A series at 6.1”, the regular at 6.4” and the Pro at 6.7”, those are great sizes. If you watch RUclips, movies, etc. on your phone, it just looks better, is more enjoyable on a larger screen. I felt bad they made the 7 at 6.3” down from 6.4”.
You should try the Zenfone 9.. It provides a similar experience at a smaller form factor with better battery too
Or perhaps the base s22 or s23... both are at 6.2"
This has been my thought process exactly. I’m borrowing an iPhone after my 4a broke, but I’m extremely excited for the 7a this year. I’m pretty optimistic and their price points are amazing for a higher end experience

I came from a one plus 8t to the Pixel 7. Love it, the battery life isn't the best but it's not bad.

I've gone from Samsung Note 10, to Iphone 12 Pro Max, to now Pixel 7. The Pixel 7 is the most fun to use. Software really does it for me.

I'm sure you're nervous about the new team, I personally love it! Loved their review, very clean, beautifully captured and overall nice! I have a recommendation tho. For performance, almost all new phones can run the heaviest games with no issue, atleast at decently well visuals. Maybe to test them, emulate some games? How about test a 3ds and a GameCube game? Perhaps a ps title to see how well the phones can handle emulation?
Pixel 7 struggles in Genshin and CoD Mobile. Pixel series is not the phone to get if you play mobile games frequently.
I absolutely love my pixel 6, I just wish it would support video out or even something like Dex. That’s a pretty big feature that’s lacking for me.

Great video..I agree with everything he said..got my pixel 7 week after they went on sale straight from Google..for the average user like me it's perfect and got 295.00 trade value for my s10e.. nobody else can match that trade value.. average user will be very happy.. especially when you're updates come on the first Monday of every month..but you may need to buy straight from Google to get the fastest updates...👍👍👍

Smooth never lagging, never met a bug, never had bad bettery life, Greatest camera in my opinion, Google are doing great actually.

did all the necessary tuning, join beta , tweaked lte setting ...im holding on for their pixel 8 is they swapped back to snapdragon chipset. this tensor thingwith samsung modem is the worst combination
I got a pixel 6 second hand in prestige condition and I have never had any issues!
The battery life is amazing it last around 12 hours sometimes more.
The only issue I have with it is the display it has green tinting issue.

What about the fingerprint sensor and the face unlock?
@Fausto Jimenez on pixel face unlock was not working in poor light conditions,i.e. at night inside the car, even with light on, i had a glass screen protector, so scanner was working like 1/10 times. Without protector it was working better, but on samsung it works 9/10 times. Haven't set up face unlock on samsung since there's no reason for that

I got mine yesterday (September 2023) came from the galaxy S21. I wanted the S23 but the pixel 7 was so much cheaper. Hmm... I want to be happy but I am having second thoughts 🥹 the front camera simply don't have the sharpness and resolution, the lag in the camera in general, the charging time 😒 the lag of macro camera, the display. Guess it's just because I am used to galaxy. I only have had it for 24 hours. Your review was spot on.

Idk, it's a solid phone but the places where it misses are mostly software based for me. Sure Google can easily fix them but why haven't they? Idk if I can long term tolerate calls silently ending or having to pull out my phone to see why my music shut off only to be greeted with the incoming call screen

Is anyone noticing the heating issue with pixel 7? having the navigation on for over 30 minutes, back of the phone was hot to touch yesterday with outside and inside temperature around 70's. All else is awesome
