Fun fact:
You can use navigation without internet connection because gps works with satelites. You just need to download offline maps for your local region
That's true!
I moved to Pixel 7 from S10e and the battery is so much less stressful
Extremely clean, concise and unbiased review. Hopefully, you'll share a review once Pixel 8 releases.
Thanks mate!
Definitely not concise 😂

1 thing that may interest you: Android 14 beta has seemingly improved battery life for multiple devices, including the Pixel 7. I myself have also noticed a small improvement.
Yes, I fully agree!
Pixel fold as well especially stand by time
Good to know, thanks!
Is that true and any videos on battery improvement in youtube?
how did u get the Android beta 14?
Probably the best review of the Pixel 7 I've seen yet, thank you! You appeared to do an honest and un-biased review and that is much appreciated, especially in this world of Samsung and Iphone snobs! It's very refreshing to see someone who realizes you DON'T have to spend $1,000-$1,800.00 for a smartphone with near flagship features and specs! I got the (standard) Pixel 6 when it was released in the Fall of 2021 and really thought it would be a device I would keep for at least 5 years, but the Pixel 7 has enhanced the workings of the phone and upgraded just enough of the important aspects which will have me upgrading to it this Fall. Once again, thank you for the excellent review!
I have the pixel 7 pro coming from Samsung for the last 10 years.
Im in love, stock Android is beautiful, no bloat, the phone is 100% butter smooth.
The battery is okay but I only have this phone since 1 day, apparently AI will enhance the battery life over time.
Also this is the only phone where I ever used adaptive brightness and it's amazing.
But yeah since I have a 26.000 mAh Powerbank from Anker with 65w pd I never need to worry about battery life anyways, I can recharge the phone over 4 times with it lol.
I have the pixel 6 just bought a pixel 7 a couple months ago love this device way more than the 6 not upgrading till the P 9 or 10
Many thanks for your kind words!
I have an unlocked North American Pixel 7 pro; a GREAT phone; BUT BUYER BEWARE. Google perhaps stupidly or in a self-defeating manner, blocks 5G connections to much of Europe and Asia. If you are a mobile warrior or professional who travels often.... AVOID this phone as well until Google addresses this outrageous issue. My friends with Iphones and Samsungs do not face the same issues.
Great review, pleasant to watch, concise and honest. Hope you do more reviews on the new pixel 8 and other phones.
Very good review. I have the 7pro after living with the 6 for a year. I had a software issue with my first 7pro but this was handled and dealt with very quickly by Google. I have now had no 2 for longer than No1 with NO issues. I am 100% happy with the phone and service by Google.
Thanks for sharing! And glad to hear.
A new subscriber now! Great review! Clean and clear! ❤
Very nice review! Would love to see more pixel reviews from you!!
It's a pretty nice review that you have performed with a calm and relaxing presentation of all the pros and cons. You took pause and put words which makes more sense better than every other RUclipsrs who are trying to pretend to be warm, energetic, and enthusiastic. Happy to see your video and happy means...
Thanks a lot! :)
Thanks for this, was on the fence about picking this up as I've heard horror stories about the pixel 6, but the fact that you still think this is a solid af phone after having it as long as you have has convinced me. Thank you for such an in-depth review, it really covered what I was curious about in the phone itself.
Thank you and glad it was helpful!
Great review. 👍 What's the name of the track? I like it..
very nice review thanks for the time making the video
what a beautiful review! great work
Excellent review. Came from an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Value for money and I am absolutely happy with my experience with the Pixel 7.
Glad to hear and thank you so much!

Right on! Thanks man :)
Had mine for a month, excellent value phone, very happy with it. I decided to upgrade to Pixel 7 from iPhone X - I could not justify paying double for an iPhone with worse specs..it makes no sense. Glad I made the switch. I don't have any battery issues as some describe.
Should i buy it and any issue u face while clicking photos or filming videos?
The camera is very good, perfectly fine. No complaints. I don't think you will find a better phone for this price. It's honestly a good deal, it is less than half the price of the iPhone 14 but better hardware. Enjoy@@shivamsuryawanshi6739
I haven't any battery issues on my P7 either get great screen on time
Very cool to hear. And I did a similar comparison with the Iphones before I got the Pixel 7. But in the end I really could not justify paying more than twice for not even better hardware in many areas.
Same here! Bought the pixel 7 and sold my 14 pro. Battery on point same screen on time as the 14 pro maybe even half and hours + . If you like the phone Just buy One these rewiews are getting out of hand
Thanks for great video 🙌🏻
Fantastic, thorough review! Keep them coming. Thank you!

Thanks a lot brother!
Good review dude, keep em coming!!
Thanks a lot!
Great review mate! I just want to ask if its still working good? Do you think the phone's back panel color plays any role in thermals....like an obsidian one might get hot faster than a snow one?
Thanks man! Greatly appreciated. The phone still works really good, just got the Android 14 update and its got some new perks even (no major redesign though). Also regarding the color, I'd say the only scenario in which I think it might make a small difference, is if you're using it for navigation and there's direct sunlight into its' back, the Obsidian version would technically get a bit warmer.
This is a really good phone overall. Most phones today are overkill. You dont need an iphone promax to just scroll through social media and make tiktoks.
Fully agree
Loved your video well organised
Great review Mihai!! Thank you
Glad you liked it!
nice structure man, great explaination, well done man !! thank you for this
Many thanks and glad you liked it!
I saw one in Currys, I found the display a bit dim in manual standard brightness 😔 I then looked at a Samsung A34 and found that display much more appealing and brighter ( considering the A34 is a lower end device I was quite surprised by it's display quality)
I have an A34, it's an awesome device at a stupid price
Loved the review man 🙏
such an amazing review - crisp and clean - could you please also share your perspective on the haptics of this phone - i have heard this phone has one of the best haptics - but would love to know your thoughts on it 😊
Thank you very muchi! And I gotta say the haptics feel just right. They don't stand out at all, which I guess is a good thing right? Being very seamless.
Amazing review! Props. Very knowledgeable
Thanks a lot man!
USB to 3.5m adapter needs to be version with DAC, so yes that is the caviat :)
Thank you for this awesome review ❤
I love my pixel I have the 6 for my work phone and iPhone 14 pro for my personal phone I love the Google pixel because of the screen call feature service and holding my place for calls. The only issue I have is the phone can get extremely hot at times and that even when I have all my apps closed out but overall I am satisfied with it I may upgrade to 7a but I will wait for pixel 8 hopefully google will fix the issue
Interesting to hear! And yeah there isn't a notable jump from 6 to 7. You're better off waiting for the 8 for sure.
Do u experience overheating during taking pic n video ...thx
Which one do u like iPhone or pixel?
As a pixel 7 owner, I will tell you to wait for the eight. Pixel 7 is a really good fault but it still has that heat problem at the six had
Why do u use two phones for work and personal use..can't u use 2 sims in one phone?
Why only now i discovered this channel 🤔 very nice review, very detailed and clean, clear video. New subscriber here 😊
Thank you so much! Cheers 🍻
Hi Mihai, Amazing review man. Just wanted to know any heating issue that you noticed after prolonged usage as there are a lot of complaints for Pixel 7a.
I prefer to buy phones that are "failures" over phones that are "successes". In the last 18 months I bought a new iPhone SE 2020, a new Samsung A53 5G and a Pixel 6a at half price for different members of my family. I got them all for half price because they had had poor reviews. There is nothing wrong with the design of any of these 3 phones.
Nice strategy
Thanks Mihai for this seemingly very honest and open review. Well thought out, I really feel like you've actually used this phone for months (which I don't get from other reviews). You convinced me to go for the Pixel 7, but I'll wait for Black Friday for a nice discount. Thanks again!
Thanks a lot man, glad you found it useful! :) And checking out the new prices of the Pixel 8, Yeah I'd say a Pixel 7 on discount is probably the sweetest deal to find.
Nice video. Subscribed cause the count was at 999 and I didn’t want to miss that opportunity 😅
Haha awesome mate thank you!
Hey brother, GREAT REVIEW!
Sunt pe cale să-mi achiziționez și eu zilele astea un pixel 7 și aș vrea o ultimă opinie referitor la experiența ta cu acest model! Really appreciate the video!💯✌️
Thanks brother :) Experienta mea cu Pixel 7 continua sa fie placuta, deci pot sa-l recomand in continuare!
Turning off 5G and switching to 4G/LTE vastly improves battery life on the Pixel 7.
Ordered mine this morning and now randomly found this video. Great review, but the black cat moment for me as a black cat own... servant was pure joy. Can't wait ❤❤❤
Awesome to hear! And thanks so much :)
I'm realy thankful for photo examples. It's realy handly to do frame-by-frame scrolling
Love the intro ❤
Thank you!
Only major negative I've had with Pixel 7 is lack of 5g support in my country (absolutely ridiculous). Minor negatives - had to buy new PD charger because old charger worked sometimes and then didn't. Picture-in Picture for RUclips only works via browser work-around, and weirdly via the app for one obscure RUclips channel that I spend most of my time with. This is common to most Android phones now because Google wants you to pay for RUclips Premium, but my old Honor still allows it.
Use RUclips re vanced

GREAT REVIEW OVER ALL REVIEWS IVE SEEN
I love this phone it's so fast and has badass features, I just got mine brand new a week ago but the battery life on it is the worst out of the past few phones l've had. I even turned off all the background processes I could, use adaptive battery, even with standard battery saver mode turned on it still drains like none of that tweaking I did to save battery even mattered. What's weird is I spent a day messing around on the phone before I moved my SIM card over to it from my previous phone and that whole day the battery would barely go down AT ALL, but it was like as soon as it had actual service once I put my SIM card in the thing drains battery like it's life depends on it. Any tips would be great, but I'm pretty sure l've already done most of the battery saving tips possible from combing Reddit and google, and I'm pretty tech saavy in general and I've even stopped other unnecessary background process bloat through developer options. It's like there's literally nothing else I can change to make the battery last longer to my knowledge that I haven't already done. And what's worse is even when I go to sleep when the phone is locked and not being used I'll wake up to it to find it drops like 20% or more just sitting there locked overnight l've never had a phone drain that bad while not even using it.
This is the best review I have seen on the Pixel 7. Fantastic!
Thanks a ton!
I just picked up a refurbished model for $379CAD ($279USD)!!! It only has a couple of tiny marks on it, and otherwise feels 100% new. For that price, it feels like a total steal. Really enjoying it so far, its a big upgrade over my outgoing Xiaomi Mi 9t (although that was a beast in its own right.)
Wow great price!
Glad i came across this. I was an iphone user for 10 years. 2 years ago i switched back to samsung .. im due for an upgrade in a month or so .. and im just wanting something different from iphone or samsung. Im seriously considering the pixel 7 .. however im also tempted to wait for the 8 .. so thats where im stuck at right now.
Same here. The price is so much better on the 7 though.
I'd say wait for the 8. If it sucked then at least the more stable pixel 7 would be cheaper that it is now.
Details have started to come out about the Pixel 8. So far though I don't expect a whole lot to change, mostly improvements directly related to the new, more powerful processor. Might as well wait though :)
I’m coming from iphone 12 to the pixel 7
@@aliciaclark617 how is it
Im loving my pixel 7 Pro no complaints. And obviously the camera 📸 is great. If I ever come up with an issue I will address it until then its all good 💯💯💯💯
Awesome to hear!
Once upon a time we walked the Earth with a pocket full of nickels for the phone on the corner, a watch on your wrist, a pencil, a small calculator, an envelope or two, postage stamps, a road map even a small transistor am/fm radio and if you were headed somewhere special you bought along your polaroid camera and extra flash cubes.
Moved to a pixel 7 after my Samsung got the green screen of death, only issue after a month of use is the battery and how hot it gets when charging.
The best review watch it ever , especially the photos something different, i like it ❤
Great 👍
Thanks a lot!
iI have used pixel 7 for one year. Everything is working great except the battery. The phone runs out battery in 3 days with less use. If active use such as gps, it will run out in half day.
thats why you can chqrge the phone lol
hey i didn't get 19:17 part ,
i have IEM and a type C DAC , will it work on pixel phones for listening music and microphone?
Yes it should work with a DAC.
im a pixel 7 pro user ive been loving the experience i have the a14 beta running on it other than the nifty few bugs its been great

Detailed review
Excellent review, Best I've watched.
Wow, thanks a lot!
Nice review. One thing I am curious about heating issue reported by many on the internet. Is it really a serious issue?
Not a serious issue necessarily, but it'll age the battery faster & not help with performance... Still a good phone though! Might be worth waiting for P8 if you're worried about that one :)
I wouldn't say its a serious issue at all. However if you plan on using 5G, it might be worse than my experience. I couldn't test 5G yet.
Was pleased to see two favourite things in one vid - pixel and Romania.
Great to hear :)
I just got mine love it
Awesome, enjoy it!
Does Picel mobile allow file transfer to PC through USB?
I'm a really big apple fan , but since that phone came out my opinions are changed , this phone has much more better design than iPhones. Btw I appreciate your honest reviews!!!
A shame the support is half as long

Tired of companys following bad trends. Anti consumer trends. If i start a phone company charger and headphones case and screen protector all in the box. This bs needs to stop
I'm still rocking the Pixel 4a. Of course the Pixel 7 looks like a nice phone but I'm not seeing anything that has me reaching for the buy button. I don't have any scratches or cracks and I've taken good care of the battery so I'll probably wait to see that the 8 looks like.
Nice to hear really. There's no reason to change your phone every time a new one comes out, so that's a very healthy mentality.
@@MihaiStrompl it really is. But I still can't wait to see the 8!
I too am still using the 4a for more than 2.5 years. No other issues, just that the battery has degraded. So I am considering getting a Pixel 7. Love the form factor of 4a though.
@@swadhinsatpathy4527 I've kept my charge between about 20 and 80 (most of the time) and my battery is still doing really well. Also heat is a battery killer. I try to charge mine on a conductive surface such as a granite countertop or metal or glass desk or cabinet--these surfaces absorb all the heat, the battery stays healthy, and it charges faster.
No heating issue?
Fantastic review 👍🏾
Glad you liked it!
Subscribed for the cats 🐈. Keep them adding in upcoming videos pls.
One portion of cats, coming right up 👍
In terms of the design I'm probably in the minority but I prefer the look of the 6 to the 7 I liked the 2 tone colours the glass camera bar all I didn't like is the gloss and how slippery it is which they've only just gone away from with the 8pro but kept the solid colour well my 6p is great I'll stick with that see what they do with the 9
I seriously hope fingers crossed 🤞 they bring the black camera bar back with a Matt Glass 2 toned back!!!!

Does using the case (at 2:54) interfer with wireless charging?
It does not interfere at all
@@MihaiStromplThank you.
I've never had a phone that does wireless charging but currently the 7 is on sale - down from $AU999 to $AU699 for the 128GB version.
Might need to research wireless chargers. I saw a review of the 7 where it showed it on a Google charger which looked nice.
Watching ur video from pixel 7 😁
Nice Video!
Thanks!
For about $220 you can get a refurbished Google pixel 7 with 128 GB of data Long lasting battery or you can pay about $350 for a refurbished iPhone 13 with 64 GB of data and have to charge it up twice a day and they say it's the best phone what makes a cell phone is battery fast Internet the Google pixel 7 is the best flagship in my opinion because it gives you more options. I do a lot of voice texting and it does it perfectly in the Sampson and the iPhone cannot do
Hi Mihai, great review it helped me a lot. Just one question, is it worth to buy it now?? I have the budget for the pixel 7 and pixel 8 will obviously gonna be on higher side in terms of cost.
Hey man, thanks a lot! You might wanna wait. True the Pixel 8 might come in pricier but maybe the Pixel 7 will get discounted further when the 8 is launched. Cheers!

A little late here but after the android 14 update the fps counter on my pixel wont work for some reason. Any one else having this issue?
Did anyone have problems with overheating? I see in many reviews comments from users about this and its kinda holding me back.

Thank you for the chapter review

How is your experience?
Thanks for the review but I wonder why you didn't mention the bad quality of the speakers?
Maybe because the speakers aren't bad quality?
@@youdontseeanoldmanhavinatw4904 I have the Pixel 7 and the speakers are quite bad, thin sounding and with distortion on higher volume. Many other owners have the same experience. They really sound cheap. My point of comparison is my old iPhone 12 and it sounds much fuller.
These speakers are amazing
I don't think they're bad actually. Just not too impressive either, pretty regular I'd say.
I currently have the samsung s20 FE 5G. I don't know if its defective or what, but the camera is awful. It always has a blurry halo around whatever I'm taking a picture of. I'm really leaning towards a Pixel 7 as an upgrade! :D

Have u heard of the thing called wireless?
Hey really nice job on the review. And I really like my pixel 7. I would say the downside to it is battery life is just okay, but if your person that's on data all day, you're going to struggle to make it through a day. If you're a person on Wi-Fi and data, you can probably be all right. Oh yeah, one mother thing that charging is really slow. I mean really slow.
Thank you! And for bringing up valid points :)
I got the 7A. Most of what you said here applies to the 7A as well. You didn't mention the #1 con - the charging speed is just unacceptably slow, with overnight charging now mandatory. If you forget to do so, you'll not survive the next day without some panic.
Yeah that's a good point. It is super slow to charge and so you're right in the morning. If you forgotten to charge it when you wake up, you're in trouble
@@jejunamja half and hour of 30 watts charging give around 50% battery, the rest 50 takes time around 1 hour, so its not a very big deal
I have the this phone and my only complaint is that i couldn't get the Snow version...because it was more expensive.
It does suck when different colors cost a different amount! Like WHY😄
For me it is impossible to use this phone with 5G,
overheats, camera wont allow clicking or recording videos, and you can see battery percentage going down,
It's a perfect phone if you're mostly on WiFi
That's interesting. Do you have any issues with the camera if you don't use 5G (and if its not overheating)? If you still experiencing it, I'm thinking it might be something wrong with your particular phone.
@@MihaiStrompl all good if i turn off 5G, and I'm using this phone with LTE only, still its a phone that costs $599 and had to turn off 5G to use it, lol , it does heatsup in video calls, that's the only scenario for overheating other than 5G, My colleague has a P7P and its the same with him as well, so its not with my particular unit
I had the pixel 7 for like a month and went back to iPhone. The battery was awful
I’ve been an apple user for decades. But their phones always look the same and the experience always feels the same. I want to try something different. So today I ordered this pixel 7. Was on sale new on Amazon today for 449 usd. Excited to try it. I’ll keep my 13 pro max just incase but I’m getting bored with apple
Awesome choice and quite a valid reason. Sometimes you just need to switch it up a bit :). Hope you enjoy it!
Upgrade to the pixel 14 beta makes the phone even better and makes the battery last even longer
@@lonegamer6454 how do you do that

@@aliciaclark617 you gotta sign up for the beta thru Google then download the beta for your phone after it's pretty easy. But Android 14 released on the 8th so you don't have to do it anymore unless you want to try out the beta for other reasons
Now they should drop in a one inch sensor with interchangeable lenses, and they will dominate the market.
Lmao I hope they do. Sony has something like that but its so niche
Hi Mihai
Thank for this objective calm review. What is all this compared to makers like Oppo. By the way is that Misha and Masha on your speakers? I have them too! Waiting for Huawei to escape this Google prison.
Thanks for stopping by! First its not Misha & Masha but I see the resemblance lol. It's a bear plushie and a Jon Snow funko Pop. Second I can't really talk about Oppo phones that much since I don't have a lot of hands on experience with them. But I know they do have some pretty interesting tech in them (way more courageous than Google would probably ever get), and I've heard good things about the user experience.
Great video! Hope you're doing well, friend 😊
Thanks so much. I'm doing well and happy to hear from you!
Pixel 7 was the perfect phone for me for about a week... Great performance but the battery life was awful... Never even made it through half a day! And this is with the phone sitting in my pocket not being used for hours...
If they fix the battery life on the pixel 8 I'm sure to buying instead of the pro model.
Google really needs to differentiate the 7 from the 7a a bit more on their next generations, same way apple does it with their pro phones!
Weird, because mine with active usage lasts easily for a full day and even more sometimes. I use mine A LOT. Perhaps, you have bad network services in your region.
