I just love using this technique Ingrid, it is so effective! I have never thought to add 2 colours to the stamps to create some interest like you did here. I only have the make up brushes but they seem to do the blending trick perfectly. I am going to try this again! Thanks heaps for the inspiration.

Thanks for the awesome tips. I’m definitely going to give them a try. Isn’t the reveal awesome. I always look forward to it. I made stencils for my daughter’s class. As they were painting, almost all of them were saying that they were doing horrible. Every time we took the stencil off, their faces just lit up and they were impressed at how good it turned out. Stencils immediately became magical. It really made my day to be able to share this with them.

Beautiful! I can really see the difference, how adding the brown shading to stamped images and adding the touch in each corner draws you in, making you take notice. Thanks for sharing this technique and tutorial 🤗

Hm, I have never made a shaded vignette before. I love the idea!! I tend to use different papers to make something like that, but I love this idea! I'm going to try it. THANKS

Hi I’m interested in your thoughts on this subject.
To simplify the whole card. Just use a framed strip of designer series paper and you're done. No need for all the mess. However, if you like messing around with making your own designs, go to it.
Ah, but the mess is what makes it so great. Creating your own designer paper. There isn't a wrong or right here, just fun art. Thanks for watching.
