I love the punches because when they are flat, you can stand them up in a container and the picture of what they punch is on the end and you can see what you are looking for.
Anna, I know this is an older video but I just found it. I’ve looked for a dragonfly punch forever it seems and I found it and I was able to purchase it!!! Yay me!!! Yay you!!!
Thanks so much! It took me far more than 30 minutes (who knew it would take so long to pick paper and coordinating colors? Who knew the little heads on the dragonflies were so temperamental? And why would I assume that I have that punch and would spend time searching for it to no avail?), but I now have a nice stash of birthday cards on the ready! I might do another batch of more generic cards with different paper and punches, but this layout is a winner.
What a great way to make multiple cards. I like to make groups of embellishments when I have my granddaughters over for craft day. They are 5 and 9. I also like the space saving tip for getting as much out of your paper as possible.
I like your example or tip for cutting the end of your banner strip! I've cut them lopsided a lot of time where one side is longer than the.other! Cute cards and that KS for sharing!
Gorgeous cards! I love the colors, design and the dragonfly is precious! All your tips are wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing. Have a beautiful day🦋🪻🌞
I just found this video. It is awesome how you figured out how to get these measurements!!! Since I still have several sheets of that DSP, I decided to make 12 cards today using your dimensions etc. I don't have the dragonfly punch but I do have a dragonfly die from another company. I used it. It's a "daintier" die cut but it worked. I also put a variety of sentiments on the front. I donate most of my cards to the Iowa Veterans Home so most of these will probably go there. Thank you so much for sharing this idea! I will be checking out the other videos you have posted. (I did see your most recent about taking a break. You always need to do what is best for you.)
I use sell Stampin Up years ago. I now just stamp for fun. I have a small group of ladies at my church where we get together and make cards. I call my group S.A.L.T. which stands for Serving And Learning Together. We make cards for ourselves, shut ins and nursing homes.
The exercise of crafting. It’s SAD that some people have to find fault with EVERYTHING. The person who receives a handmade card more often than not feel honored that someone took the time to think of them and gave them a card, no matter how many was made in the process. The cards look great. TYFS.
Hi Anna, great cards and great tips. I think I'm going to use your ideas for Christmas cards ... and I hope they'll look as GREAT as yours! Love from Germany and TFS
great cards and tips. I got this set for my daughter's birthday. I'll have to send her this video to watch when she gets it. She LOVES dragonflies. TFS
When I'm cutting multiples, I score ALL the sheets at once, they cut them all at once, because I am notorious for cutting where I meant to score. LOL I'm in the process of mass producing all my Christmas cards (at least 10 per month) and, of course, I'm using SU! DSP. This is a really nice use for three sheets at a time. Thanks for the great examples.
yes I love the dragonflies, I got the stamp and punch set. It is awesome to punch out them in black paper and then put shimmer in a green or blue, funn draw some silver lines on the wings. I like what you did with them also, I love the mass producing tutorial, I have started making cards in advance and it really helps to have them ready. love it Thank you for sharing your talents
@@karen-annrowse1890 yes I got them from the Stampin Up catalogue last year. The stamp set is no longer available, but you can order the punch from Anna, she is still active, the punch is on pg 143 . The punch makes a small one and a large one. I love dragonflies! Not sure where you might find the stamp set, maybe Etsy?? I found a black and white dragonfly in the yard in perfect shape, it had dried out and I brought it in and put it on a piece of cardstock and framed it in a shadow box like frame. I love watching Anna, she is so good
Howdy, I just found your channel and love the tips and tricks! I am in the process of starting my own crafting channel so I can craft and make cards with friends. I want to be more involved with community and crafters are the best!
Love this video and your teaching is very clear and easy to follow. Since in cardmaking you can make up your own dimensions how do you make the envelopes to fit them without using a whole sheet of paper for one card?
I love dragonflies but I have theHeartfelt Creations set so I probably wouldn't buy another. I do like the idea of having a stamp and punch though. I will follow your guide to do a whole bunch of card bases, it is such a good idea.
Thank you for the great tips for fun and quick cars. I sometimes struggle with what to make and alway go from one design to another now with your cleaver design I can mass make. Thank you for your great ideas and tips.🤩
I appreciate handmade items. You’re correct that it makes it’s unique and one-of-a-kind. I call mine DeeAnnO’s - Dee Ann Originals! I stamp the back side with Handmade With Love. This is a great design. Thank you for sharing!!!
Can you give us all the measurements for cards you have on your cutter? That would really help me because I have a hard time seeing the lines to line up. Love this idea!
I’ve made template versions of various sizes of cuts I’m inclined to make, from the card bases, right through to my most used mat sizes. Prior to that, I was making MANY mistakes (low vision due to Dry Eye Syndrome) which left me with LOTS of scraps for future piecing!!!
I have a Cricut explore not dies but wanted to try to make something similar. I finally tried today and think it came out not bad. I only did one card although I did follow your method for cutting out to do numerous cards. Not sure how I can add a photo.
This is an amazing video! I just found you!❤️ I love the colorful markings you have on your cutter? Would share how you so cleverly applied those marked areas to your cutter, PLEASE? Thank you for sharing your creativity with me! Hugs. 🌷Stay wonderful!
Thank you so much Rosemarie! I appreciate you watching along 🥰 Here is a link to the video that explains the lines on my trimmer!ruclips.net/video/UgdSSWdvsGE/видео.html
Anna, I really love this card layout! I didn’t realize you had been doing this so long! Good job! Don’t know if you’ll see this but I still have this paper (hoarder?, yes) and I’m going to do this! Thanks!
I love what you did with your cutter i need those lines on mine.. how did you figure that out and do you put a chart like at the bottom to let you know what each is for like A2 card base etc..
Just saw your trimmer. Do you have a video about what you did to add the color lines on the grid? What is the reason for the tape on the side? I am sure there is a reason you added it.
Liked. 1Q, did you use the dragonfly stamp from Orange ink to green ink without wiping it clean? Don't know knack to use same stamp in different color InkPads without dirting inkpads
Dear Anna, May God bless you and your family and give you the strength you need for what you are experiencing.
I love the punches because when they are flat, you can stand them up in a container and the picture of what they punch is on the end and you can see what you are looking for.

I use the trimmer to fold my card bases. There is a ledge where you can push them against the edge and fold and the edges meet perfectly every time.
Love how you marked your cutter... do you have a video on that?
I would also
Thirded! I'm in favor of anything that keeps me from having to remember numbers! 😄
Yes!! I really need this line chart for my cutter!!
Me too please.
I also would like your 'cutting lines guide please
Crafting is exercise. You use your hands & mind. Great ideas. Thanks.

What a great way to make multiple cards. I like to make groups of embellishments when I have my granddaughters over for craft day. They are 5 and 9. I also like the space saving tip for getting as much out of your paper as possible.
Kids can be wonderful help! And the company is nice too!

Good tip for cutting card base. Thank you. Crafting or exercise,ha, what a. Question. CRAFTING of course!

These are lovely! A great way to use dsp, which all comes together in the layers. TFS
Did these with you. Dragonflies are my favorite insect.
Bonsoir très jolies cartes, merci pour le partage
I love dragonflies but I have theHeartfelt Creations set so I probably wouldn't buy another. I do like the idea of having a stamp and punch though. I will follow your guide to do a whole bunch of card bases, it is such a good idea.

Really pretty!
Thank you! 😊
I score my cards on both sides. I can get them to close more completely, and, to my mind, that gives them a more “finished” look.
I'll have to try this!
I love what you did with your cutter i need those lines on mine.. how did you figure that out and do you put a chart like at the bottom to let you know what each is for like A2 card base etc..
Hi Frankie, I figured this out myself. I explained it in this video ruclips.net/video/UgdSSWdvsGE/видео.html
Great video, have you by chance done a video regarding you cutting/scoring tool and why or what are all the markings?
Hi Sherri, yes I have. Here is the link ruclips.net/video/UgdSSWdvsGE/видео.html
Yes I would like a stamping up catalog
Great cards, I don't think I would be as fast as you. Ruth in the land down under.

WHat did you use on your cutter to distinguish the different cutting areas; is it just marker? Thanks for your time.
Hi Kathy, I used paint markers. Here is a video with more info ruclips.net/video/UgdSSWdvsGE/видео.html
