Thanks Anna! I am 100% behind you on the medical/health system of today. I saw a naturopath 5 years ago because of gut issues. She did an immune blood draw and I was shocked to learn that I was highly sensitive to wheat, gluten, corn and all dairy (including eggs). At almost 78 years old, I can say that it has been a journey and a challenge. When I am able to stick to my “diet” I do well. It is hard when most social activity centers around food. Consider also, as a Christian, the things the Bible has to say regarding food and the stomach or “belly.” Blessings to you.

I need to make changes in my eating habits since I am a carb addict! Will look into the GAPS diet for sure. At 85 it is difficult to make changes but I sure could use some. Maybe it would give me some ambition to actually get busy, do something and get more active again. Since being housebound with Covid regulations, I have gotten into the habit of staying home, watching TV and eating sweets and junk food. Not a good thing. At my age I have my fair share of aches and pains and maybe this diet could help with that. It could be worth a try. Again, thank you.
absolutely great ideas! The one about making the punch smaller for matting is great! The diet info was interesting. I looked some of it up as I am wondering about leaky gut issues. Interesting the summaries mention no conclusive evidence, but I think anecdotal reports make it worth looking into. Our food is not what it was when I was growing up in the 1950s to 1970s.

Beautiful way to step up your cards! I am always torn between the pretty paper that gets covered up! Thanks for sharing this. I have never heard of that diet, but it sounds helpful! My daughter and I had a doctor for nearly 40 years and I can count on one hand the number of times she gave us a prescription for anything when she was a child. (Her theory was eat healthy foods, red meat to build blood, fresh fruit and vegetables, sauerkraut to maintain a healthy digestive system. Fresh air and sunshine daily). In recent years, my daughters family have been following a keto diet, they have all had better health since they have cut out carbs and sugar and added more protein and healthy fats to their diet. We have all had better health since we began increasing our mineral and vitamin intake. Also since 2020 we all take NAC to reduce the effects of certain medications and drug reactions. Extremely important, it is useful against side effects from Tylenol. Reducing carbs and sugar are very important for improving skin, joints and the blood.

Wow I love the cards! The punch tricks have confused me, so please do more videos on them! Meanwhile, my doctor is a huge proponent of gut health but never mentioned any specific diet. I will look into the ones you mentioned. I hope that, as a vegetarian, I would still be able to try one out. Thanks!
Love the cards! I am suddenly sensitive to so many foods (dairy, fruits, most vegetables, oats, chocolate, seeds, nuts, etc.) I am so limited on foods right now. I went through this in 2012, but not as extreme. At that time, a functional medicine doctor got me back on track. Thanks so much for sharing! I am going to start working on my healing, again.
