Hi, still In a confusion whether to choose a brand new NX500 or a used Triumph tiger 850 sports or Tiger 800XRX. I own an interceptor 650 & a Z900 now. This will be the adventure segment to be added to my garage.
I currently own 2021 interceptor 650 with 22k kms. I ride 100kms daily bcz of work commute. Nowadays I find interceptor a bit bulky and tiring experience . Will it be a downgrade if I sold that bike and buy this one ? Your opinion will help me a lot to buying decision. I have already booked NX500 with full refund option in case of cancellation.
Not at all. I own a 5 month old INT 650 with a battery that dies every fortnight. If I wanted peace of mind, even I would surely consider the NX500. So go ahead, don't get into comparisons. If you've liked the NX500, you'll love It on your daily commutes more.
Honda being Honda! After 2 months of wait got an update that no deliveries until Oct! And I might get mine delivered early next year! Honda is always reluctant towards Indian market! At the moment the only bike I think they are delivering is transalp! Since Africa twin will not be delivered this year in India !
Nice! Im looking at this bike for on road long distace touring, current bike is Speed 400....Tell me, how does the 41mm front forks on NX compare to H450's 43mm 200mm travel forks ang my speed 400s 43mm/140mm travel forks on bad roads/rumblers etc (not proper off roads) thanks.
I have been a 4 year owner of a KTM 390 ADV. The NX, in comparison, is a far more comfortable motorcycle. On my familiar route, I could ride it even without getting off the seat, it is that comfortable. The suspension setup & travel is ideal for Indian streets. A bit soft, but I would prefer comfort over dynamics. Because in reality, we all need to have some energy left after reaching the destination.
How can you talk and ride at the same time? I found myself watching the traffic and not listening to his comments, the driving in India is lawless, you just seem to drive anywhere any how no road, no sense of danger, not for me I couldn’t cope!
bike is good but good luck getting one frm honda. people are waiting for last 5 months to get it delivered. myself waiting frm feb month. people who booked in January still havent got delivery. honda dealers hav no clue.
I AM DISAPPOINTED. Remember the CB500X? first a step price cut, then sudden withdrawal from the market. This time, again the bike has disappeared from the showrooms. They are saying no more deliveries this year. Can't trust Honda, the are just NOT serious about this bike. It IS an awesome bike....But just not woth it., Honda. You've screwed up..again.

I live in China - here we have the NX400 (I own one), it’s a great bike so far though I’m disappointed that it’s missing Bluetooth connectivity 😖

This has a quick shifter, done have to wiggle throttle and clutch. Guess you forgot while testing top speed run…

A small section of it is open to two-wheelers. Between Khopoli to Lonavala.
