Bog Walk is a town in the parish of Saint Catherine, Jamaica. In 1898 work started on hydroelectric power plant on river Rio Cobre near Bog Walk. The plant was completed next year and used to power Kingston's tramway system

This is where I lived in the 1940s and went to Kingston in the mid1950s.bybrook sugar estates was my home went to tulloch school .I knew every inch of this area. Wonderful seeing the changes, the last time I visited was1990s. Thank you 😊

In 2019 i was there but due to ill health etc., now recovering so a trip is due, if not, i will still be watching your videos as it updates/relaxes me. Hey friend. You are in my grandad's place. Have Cuz in Wonder Lane ,next to the bulla factory. Loved to visit there. And they have property in Princess Field too. Dad was laid to rest up there. Fondest memories was going to the river by the Condensiry and riding the really old bridge on a country bus, back to town. I think they shut it down after that crossing because it was wobbly. LOL. Much Respect.
My late grand uncle lived in Princess field.

Merciful Father, Bog Walk square has become a filthy dump! The Govt could do better, clean up and beautify the public spaces. You can feel the poverty through the screen. Very sad. Good video bro.
I agree. Sanitation is a huge problem. But realistically the government can do so much, it still up to the citizens to stop littering. Sometimes even when bins and skips are provided people still letter. Sad
I feel bad for these people selling stuff by the side of the road. They look like they are barely getting by.
Alot of them make a decent living from selling, I kno a few people who have built their house and sent their kids to college by doing that
