Well done for this documentary. I am here in tears. We see all sort of commentaries because our countries are not in war . I wonder what we would do if we have a war. Well I guess the same thing these people are doing. I worked alongside refugees who had an amazing life back home. Some of them were rich in their countries and lost everything and now are just surviving. They have shown great survival skills which showed me we can adjust to anything. The society we live in has created a week human beings and with the new technologies human beings are getting even lazy. The migration in Europe is easier to solve. The developed countries should support the countries who were destroyed by helping them to rebuild their homes and towns.This is the only ways to stop illegal migration. Unfortunately, richest countries are not smart and are greedy. They preferred to see poor countries poorer as they don’t want to see another country like China to have a stronger economy like them.
Stay in your own country the grass is not greener here.

As a female in my own country in Mid Wales enjoying the sunshine, wearing shorts and a vest to be given a filthy look up and down and subjected to a pronounced tutting by a female wearing a black abaya and hijab, accompanied by males in vests and shorts, is nothing short of rude behavior by someone from another culture. Generations of my family have been born and brought up in the UK and we are respectful of others, BUT there are limits to our stoic patience.

As a person with a Korean background, there is something I want to say.
Our country had been ripped off by Japan, and the remaining were all demolished during the Korean war. My dad often told me his childhood experience of diving into a river to pick up a rotten apple, which was a great luck. He started working full-time when he was a teenager and studied at night. When he became an adult, he was often arrested and investigated because of multiple issues. My mum told me that sometimes he was so tortured that she thought he would die. Yet, he did not want to leave the country but wanted to contribute to the nation. Like him, many Koreans decided to dedicate their lives to reconstitute the nation rather than running away for their own good; Their blood became a great foundation to build a nation that people can see now. I still remember how poor we were, how many lives ruined and killed because they fought against authorities.

Koreans are self-reliant, determined, hard-working, loyal, honest. They're not free-loaders, even when destitute they are proud and humble.

Hypothetically let’s say their tickets get paid for by the country. These men have no documents. Any identifying information about them is non existent. Many of them get rid of previous identification when entering the country to avoid being tied to any crime. These are the type of people who will never be satisfied in life. Never. Bad life in home country? Home county was the problem. Time to immigrate illegally to France. Bad life in France? France was the problem. Time to go to England. Bad time in England? England is the problem. Time to move back to France.
They’ll soon decide once again that France isn’t meeting their lofty expectations either and want a ride back to England. Back to the hypothetical, England pays for their tickets to France. None of the men are documented, no way to keep records of who got what. France gets old again and they find their way back to England. The same men. They want to go back to France though after England doesn’t fulfill their wildest dreams again.
It’d be an endless cycle without closed borders. While it’d be great to have them out it won’t do any good if they don’t stay out.

I find it difficult to sympathize with people who have smartphones. I spent years being too poor to buy one. I worked all my life to finally buy one. Wow, not even locals can have all these people are dreaming of. My own country does not owe me anything! I have to work just to survive or work twice as much. Life is tough everywhere. You come to Europe with dreams, irrational expectations. Work on your education first and then apply for a visa or try to find a job in construction, but don't expect to become a citizen. Europe is struggling with overcrowding, has a huge problem with immigration and struggles to maintain its identity. Expect to be either rejected or in limbo. Learn about you destination before you decide to come.
There is no thought given to the huge financial fines lorry drivers and also their companies have to pay when these undocumented migrants are discovered hiding in these lorries or other vehicles.

Just tell the Government where you want to go and they will help you. They could have went to Rwanda for free, especially now when they want migrants to go back home or to another country. They could have even got a flight back if the UK is serious about returning migrants back to their country.

As an imigrant myself who arrived here legally this makes me upset for both Uk and these people. I’ve went through 10 years of immigration process. Temporary leave, indefinite leave, applying for British citizenship which is a privilege that cost me close to £4000. All these years working, paying taxes, rent, spending the money earned right here in the UK. Makes me upset to see someone trying to skip line. I could be wrong and apologise if I do but with the money paid to smugglers maybe these people could’ve arrived here legally.

In Australia they do, despite having paid in all of their lives, & now the govts. want to cut it completely.
In my case it was 68 & I was lucky to get in at that cut off age. BTW I worked in the desert where peak summer temps reach up into the early 60 deg, Celsius, stays like that day 7 night & in winter almost never drops below 40C. 100 hour week, & in the years prior to retirement my weekly tax deduction on income alone was $1,500. Of course I also paid every other tax imposed on goods & services from what remained. I expected to receive a pension at 65, but they changed the agreement.
Meanwhile, 1st class air travel is not good enough for many of our politicians & senior public servants. They much prefer to charter private jets, & each charters their own, despite going to the same destinations at the same time. Hell, we even fly their families on holidays, including their pets, who require special & very expensive handling.
They charter private helicopters in order to avoid the road traffic congestion that their policies created.
& armed security details that would shame anyone outside of Washington DC.
Public servants be damned, they are our masters, & they come equipped with huge egos, A vastly inflated sense of self worth, & an entitlement complex sufficient to stagger an experienced psychologist.
Be glad that you can work and live in peace. These people left their countries because they can't even do that there. You will understand them only when you find yourself in their situation!

I met a man from Iraq, he had gotten a new house with furniture. But it wasn't enough, he found his benefits low, he could only put aside 200 euros per month. He works illegally as a painter or in construction. He complained that he could send little money to his country.

I knew a man and wife who stayed 5 years in Canada under a bogus refugee claim with all the appeals. He had three kids on our medical system collected benefits for the whole family while working two jobs cash under the table. Sent all the money home and when he and wife where finally deported he bought a farm with land back home. Thing is his three kids have citizenship and can come back anytime. We are really stupid in Canada.
If they wish to leave then allow them to go and not make it a criminal offence to leave without documents. The UK government appear to actually want them to stay as far as to send them to prison for trying to leave.
I’m an international student who paid 18,000GBP as tuition, pay NHS fees, and accommodation of about 6000 myself before I got here for education. This is disgraceful to watch, honestly. No one will accept and understand this. I feel the pain of many of my British friends who complain about these asylum seekers because the UK has received so many of them and now they’re a burden. Another point is the effrontery and sense of entitlement they have towards a better life in the UK. This isn’t fair to fellow students and migrants who go through a legal and permitted process to get visas to come to this country. We hold this country in high esteem because it is Great, how much more those who are born and fully bred here.
