if you watch heath ledger's interviews he seems like a very casual actor, and yet he was one of the most devoted actors in existence
devoted?
Ben Trail Auto correct's a bitch
Im very sad at the loss of this young man. RIP.. Heath. Beautiful man, beautiful smile.
Heath,
You brought us passion, love, light and laughter. As the Maestro's Lacrimosa laments, we were mournful on that day when you rose. Our loss is heaven's gain. Love, RED
I LOVE his voice SO much it's so clamming I could here him talk all day LOVE you Heath Ledger SO much RIP.
just watched this movie and, of course, loved it. Heath always chose such beautiful movies to play in. i really, really miss him.
Thanks, nice of you to take the time to say. Also may be noteworthy -- Heath was quite smiley and conversational just before and after this interview. It's when he was "on the record" he'd get a bit tense. Some actors are just like that.
A natural storyteller
This interviewer cracked me up ... some good questions with the director but when she began to interview Heath Ledger, her 'I love European films and I got the Felliniesque aspect of it' comment sounded like SUCH a pseudo-intellectual who's SO proud of herself! And after Heath's in-depth explanation about how the director tried to portray Dylan, she responds with "That's an interesting way to look at it" ... which sounded SO pat and almost like she'd been thinking about something else while he explained!! Heath LAUGHED at her comment!! It was SO cliche she could have responded with it regardless of anything he'd said! JUST COMICAL!
Norma Gilpin You seem like quite the intellectually superior human at all the mondane parties at your location
Oh my, Suicidal, you arose early to dis me for a comment I made YEARS ago! ... Ah well, perhaps not "intellectually superior" but I can spell - "mundane" ...enjoy the rest of your day! ;-)
Wish you were still with us, Heath
I love this interview so much - and I would like to see more about Heath, please
heath always choosed amazing roles!!!he rocks!!!
That’s smile I love to see, RIP heath ❤️
Hey guys I carried clothes pins to work with me today, in memory of Heathy, and I always will :]
Wow, you totally nailed it. So true. I still can't believe that Heath is gone btw...taken away at such a young age is beyond tragic. I feel really bad for his family...especially his daughter. Incredibly heartbreaking...
we will miss you...
sad end, too young
RIP Heath Ledger :(
from spain
Great film, I want to see it again. I called every Dylan fan I know and encouraged them to see it while it's still on the big screen!
awh bless his heart.
Such a wonderful person.
x
Thanks, kindly.
hes so beautiful ugh
He seemed to be a very calm and humble person
Makes me sad to watch. He was just too young. Great actor.
R.I.P Heath.

thanks mordor715 , you wrote down exactly what i was thinking when i heard about the sad news! i love you heath , best actor ever
You know what bothers me the most? It's when nobody thinks of some person until something tragic happens to them. Like in this case. It's really sad; Heath was such a great actor and I'll miss him so much.
rip Heath
from all of us
From the interviewer: No "reason" I have a blue streak in my hair. I like it. And, Heath liked it too -- he always said something nice about it whenever I interviewed him (once on the set of TDK, and then here for I'm Not There). He said is was becoming, and asked about how it's done. He was a very curious person, which I think is part of what made him such a good actor. - Staci Wilson
I was hoping he would win and he did. I'm glad because he was a wonderful actor and a great person. He was one of a kind.
You're right. I am destroyed because of his death. Fuck, he died like two weeks ago, and it still fells like he died yesterday. Damn it, I feel sorry for a person, that I didn't even see in reality. I feel as if a part of me died with him. How can you fell something as strong as that for a person that lived on the other continent? He was a very special person, if people react so strongly to his death.
he was quite a charmer
The world has just lost the most talented superstar..the world will miss you..i pay my respects to his daughter matilda-rose
Thank you! I'm always interested to hear something about Heath from people who have met him. Do you have some more interwievs?
forver you will be loved
RIP
"respecting his subject .. not exploiting it " 3:00 "balancing love life & proffesion"
Really nice to here from you Staci : )It's overwhelming to here from a person who actually has met Heath (haha): ). And great that you have kept that clothes pin.
Ps. I still would like to know that one word at 4:50 . If anyone could tell me.. I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
I love heath
couldn't agree more
Yeah, me too. I actually cried a lot when I found out about his death, the very same day he died. I couldn't believe it. It was impossible, because when ever I would see him on tv, I would think, that he would live forever. I really think, that the world lost a pure soul. Why don't people like Britney die, and those like Heath live.
Rest in peace Heath. We all shall miss you.
Hey, there - I'm the interviewer. The vibe in the room was good. I've interviewed Heath many times, and he knew me. I'd just talked to him in Chicago a couple of months before. The clothespins seemed like the "elephant in the room" and so I was curious. Also, I genuinely meant it was interesting, becaused I had been looking at it a different way. The word "interesting" is positive, when I use it.
Do you still have the clothespin?
rip heath...
u was really a good actor
Wow, rest in peace, dude.
yes
rip heath.. im soo devastated. even if i never knew u personally or even met you.. your a good actor and father to matilda.
so glad he won the oscar, seems such a kl guy, it's wierd how in his films he seems so confident but yet seems very shy in interviews, think maybe actin was his outlet
No worries. Thank you. I honestly do enjoy my job, and talking with these folks. I am a cinephile, so being able to talk with filmmakers isn't something I take lightly -- although I do try and keep an enthusiastic, hopefully humorous approach where appropriate.
i didn´t know him but i really liked him as an actor. i saw "10 things i hate about you" and i really liked that movie.
rest in peace heath!!! :'(
this is so sad. in his eyes you can see the sadness i think
when you think about how he ended ..
This interview is so good just because she didn’t start with the head😌😞
When I saw him, at the end of I'm not there, hugging those little girls, I was almost crying, thinking he could never do that again, with his daughter. God, he was such a great actor. What a waste.
i miss u, Heath.
He did a damn good job in this movie. Its a shame to see him go. He was a great talent.
Clothes pins for good luck? How cute.I miss him!!
she better sill has those pins
poor heath.. i really want to see this movie
The whole thing with the clothes pins so reminds me of Dylan with his lightbulb...
In contrast to the trend, I really enjoyed the film. I thought that all the threads became intact, kinda, after a while. I've watched it 3 times now and it gets clearer, which maybe detracts from it's value. Watched it with an open idea of what it could be and thought back to all the last 40+ years I've wondered what makes him tick, and still no closer really except it's complicated. Fascinating man who the movie didn't get any closer to revealing.
I knew he'd say something about the blue before I read this, he seemed like a very sweet genuine person.
Thanks Tvwire!

A Flauta da Lua...
The Moon's Flute...
he was so pretty.
Love how he was as enigmatic as Dylan himself.
Also, love how he was the only "version" of Dylan who didn't really sing a song in the film.
Genius Personified
As I wipe a tear each day from both eyes I cry.
My soul aches in divine wretched horror.
The heartbreak of those gone bestows such sorrow.
Why must a genius die and be put asunder?
Why must such a brilliant mind be squandered?
I gaze toward the heavens and wonder,
How can humankind take part in such plunder?
The rain will never wash away your lightening and thunder.
What pain and grief we suffer from such a hideous blunder. RED
how could you say that? he was extremely talented
Viable!
R.I.P Heath.
What tact!
I sure am~!
R.I.P Heath
Finally. I have made it to the ranks of "What's wrong with this picture?" ;p
when did this movie come out
Just look at those cheekbones on Heath!
I don't care what the cause of death turns out to be, his loss is a tragedy and i feel for his family and friends. rest in peace, sweet heath.
The uploader says shes the interviewer, So did you keep the clothes pin?
am obsessed with him n mite end ma life
"you just want me to say what you want me to say!" lmfao--- he would hate that. or maybe he would think that its fucking hilarious
Heath Ledger remind me of Brandon Lee... When Brandon Lee past away while doing The Crow. Just age and the movies. Not how they die.
This Film is AWESOME !! But really complicated, you've to know Bob by heart if you want to understand anything^^ !
He did make eye contact with the interviewer
i love how people could not sit threw the movie if you want a real picture of him honestly, this film is as close as you will ever get to knowing the rea bob dylan, ?
cracked up!
oh definately. i like philosophical topics, its interesting to ask questions like this. do i deserve a negative rating for questioning things that i see and read? its becoming a common thing amongst youtube. dangerous really when ppl start turning on ppl that think outside the box. are we all expected to praise everything? i love bob dylan, i think hes one of the great artists of our time. i wasnt dissing him or this. now heres another question. do u realise the irony in ur reply? lol
I want that clothespin!! !!!!!!!
What clothes pins?
CONT'D... True, he didn't like doing interviews, but that's part of the business. On the reverse, there are lots of people I don't like to interview, but I have to because it's my job. It's probably very easy for you to make snap judgements, but you weren't there. I was. On another note, I highly recommend I'm Not There: one of the best movies, ever. It's in my top 10.
i want a clothespin from heath ledger! haha
Oh. He said "I just carry these things everywhere." There's a little glitch in the sound.
clothes pins...excellent.
Why do the good always have do die young? God, I can't believe he's actually dead. Great Actor, RIP. You're the Man!!!
This was after Heath was finished filming The Dark Knight.
you should watch no direction home
I'm french but i'm going to speak correctly english in this comment. because I understood what you said, those who are destroyed by the death of Heath... you're not alone too. he's the only actor i have never adored, for all of himself, all of his personality, physical, attitude, spirit, talent.. i don't know, he emanated something so powerful. A star went out. I loved Heath Ledger, I love Heath Ledger, I will love Heath Ledger. I will always miss him. terribly.
wait is anyone going to mention how she confused him for Christian Bale when she mentioned Velvet Goldmine? A Christian Bale movie?
he is... the camera isn't giving the interview
I'm so sad
What does Heath say in the end "I just __?__ these things everywhere..." What's that one word?
carry
Directors have been trying to make a movie featuring Bob Dylan's life for a long time. Thankfully Dylan has always put the kibosh on all of them, because obviously they would suck. This is the only movie he put the Dylan stamp of approval on - this movie would not have been allowed to made if Bob Dylan didn't want it to be. It was a great film.
What are clothes pegs or pins for?
Bailey Taylor for good luck they say
It would be cool if she still had the clothes pin
Well there is only speculation an the analysis, but there is something called Body Language and the guy was communicating with it wether you like it or not.
=( I want one of heath's clothes pins
OMG, he says he carries them everywhere for good luck...how cute, from now on I'm doing the same thing :] But how much are u willing to sell those for girl?
Are you an actor?
First Brad Renfro, and now Heath Ledger, man 2008 is already starting to suck. :(
