Men and women are fundamentally simular but just like so many people on Earth would rather fight over differences which is pointless... It only brings more discourse
“1968. America watched its war plan collapse, its cities burn, its youth erupt, its president crumble, and all of its greatest leaders fall slain, and there we were, all alone with Richard Nixon.”
Sounds like world wide media bs agendas for government with COVID 19 black lives matter movement and government UN, world health organisation and everything that happened in last 3 years
He half way was making another movie after dark knight which Johnny Depp and Judd Law and etc continued I believe. His last photo I saw he had long hair. In dark knight he had long hair also. I think this movie was filmed before but I'm not sure when it was released
Does anyone know if this conversation ever happened? I haven't seen the film yet, but I want to understand whether there is any depth to Dylan's ambiguity in this scene :s
I didn’t see it when I was reading the extensive Wikipedia discussion of all the source/inspirations for all the famous scenes, in the movie, but it’s a long list, so I kinda skimmed it. Here’s the link: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/I%27m_Not_There
totally within the bounds of plausibility not just for Dylan, but many artistic/intellectual types up till roughly 2013. people who constantly analyze their surroundings eventually find themselves at odds with any community. here he's rejecting a simple dichotomy for world politics, along with optimism rooted in fuzzy feelings because his own insight and gut won't allow him to go on believing "there's work to be done" and that all they had to do was get Nixon out of office. worth keeping in mind everything Dylan had experienced up to this point.
The one scene I remember from this bizarre film. He’s not wrong. The same is true for novelists, screenwriters, TV writers, playwrights… of what are called the greatest, only a fraction were written by women. Her reaction was not wrong either lol
Maybe, just possibly that could be because women throughout history haven't in any way had access to the same resources and spheres to men, while the contrubutions they could make in their limited margins of action in pathriarcal societies, have been censored, undervalued and mocked just because of their womanhood? No, no, must be because women don't - feel -as deeply as men do.
Only a fraction of them are women because men were the ones in charge. Women weren't accepted or even allowed to do any of those things, certainly not outside their own homes.
This movie is so bad that it's just hilarious. Its a movie to watch with a group of friends while high.I saw this on tv and couldn't figure out what the heck was going on I started laughing immediately at the pretentiousness and bad quality acting.Maybe its because the script is so humorless and just BAD.
I love when he says “CUT THE FUCKING SNAPS” I miss you Heath I can’t believe it’s 13 years tomorrow” 😭😭
1:03 Ledger sounds like he’s about to say, “do you wanna know how I got this scars?”
2:02 The Joker
Best part of the movie by far ^^
So many good scenes in this movie. It's a master piece from Todd Haynes

The Bobby D character is telling them the left right political divide doesn’t matter.
This is awesome. I’ve never seen this.
Thanks for the video, but voice sync is not in order.

It's a completely different role played by the same actor.
