McPherson mvp of this game. One of the best kicking performances in playoff history. 2 bombs over 50 yards, with one being a game winner. A perfect 4/4 and accounted for 13 of cinncis 19 points.

so he just fell down hoping to buy time for his teammates and ended up causing both the runner and blocker to trip over eachother. Most guys would just try to tackle the runner and get helplessly blocked

very good point. I had to play back that a few times to figure out what the tackle was all about. It was counter intuitive, but you are right, it was very smart and stopped the potential TD play.
When I was a kid that played Pop Warner football, I used to engage with the blocker and basically bull rush him into the ball carrier! Today… not so much 😂
Yes somebody else was trying to call that a missed block. No it was just a very smart play by the defender. If you've been following the Bengals this year, Chase has a bunch of long yardage catches. Some of them have been on deep balls thrown by Burrow. But a lot of them have just been passes that usually go for maybe 10 yards, but Chase is so fast he turns them into huge gainers. He is unbelievable.
Now imagine if the Bengals actually had an offensive line. Huge game for them, wicked to see them make it so far in the playoffs

I’m only 32, but I was born at the very tail end of the 80’s. I grew up through the 90’s and 2000’s which was rough, but I never gave up on my Bengals. Now here we are, about to play for the super bowl. It’s so incredible, I never thought I’d see the day. Obviously it’s something that every fan hopes for, but with the bengals, not really something I expected.

He had possession of the ball before it hit the ground or else the ball more than likely would have bounced out of his hand because you can clearly see when the ball touches the ground it didn't move at all, people need to learn the rules its ok if it touches the ground as long as you have possession of it, also there wasn't enough clear proof to overturn the original call.

Joe Burrow once again stepped on the field and played like a seasoned veteran. He’s played in big games at LSU, and it has really paid off for him and the Bengals. But how this defense showing Tannehill different looks that translate into 3 key takeaways in this game. Great win by the Bengals
The only thing he has to improve is taking sacks when he’s in field goal range. He’s gotta just throw the ball away and take the 3 points sometimes he tries to slip out of a tackle and it ends up costing them a huge sack. But I understand his o line is really bad

This was a great game. Every aspect on both sides played hard every down. The Bengals defence were all over the place stifleing an unrelenting Titans offence and the Titans D-line was giving the Bengals O-line fits. Best game i watched all season between any two teams. MVP to McPherson.

A ton of things had to break the right way for the Bengals to pull this off. Shutting down Henry, picking off Tannehill on repeat, and man oh man the field goals. Also, Burrow is a legitimate beast for getting knocked around all game and still balling out.
Yeah but I thought Tennessee got lucky with that 3rd quarter int. The ball was dragging across the turf as he was catching the ball. Think that should have been an incomplete pass.
Burrow taking all those hits and still delivering is like an homage to Big Ben 7.

One of the biggest plays of this game was Vrabel electing to go for 2 points after the Cincy penalty and not getting it. Would have meant a Titans victory if he kicked the extra point

I am going crazy! This is the first time in my life the Bengals have ever made it to the AFC Championship game, let alone win a playoff game. I've never been more excited in my life! My parents think I'm overreacting but at least they were alive the last time it happened. The coaching gets lost. I think the coaching is good, but was beaten up because the team sucked a couple years ago. Far less talent, not a good QB. You get a good QB, upgrade on both sides of the ball and you get better. Coach Taylor had to endure losing so much before winning, but I think it helped him grow up as a head coach.

Same here! Only started rooting for them since Burrow got traded there; he is such an inspiration. Everyone who followed him at LSU knew he was gonna blow up like this. A true talent that was overlooked and as a result developed more grit than the other young QBs in the league. A perfect "racks to riches" story for which we love the US so much! For me personally, following Burrow's story gave me strength during Covid while I was without much work, to just control what you can and have confidence that things will improve as you work at it with consistency.
Cincinnatian who now lives in the UK here, man this run is a dream come true, and I am convinced me leaving the city was the reason that they got so good. Ha ha ha WHO DEY FOREVER!!!!!
