In America, the heart of racing is in the local tracks. Kyle never forgot where he came from and enjoys the local competition. This is why he has the best fans. Good luck!
Thank you Dale and Mike for giving time to showcase sprint cars. I love all racing but to theres nothing like a sprint car and the dirt. Congrats to Brad and Kyle on a sucessful High Limit season. More sprint cars please!!!!
You want dirty mo, to take over production from floracing? I'm not sure you no exactly what you just said 😂😂. This could be the dumbest comment ever on RUclips.
SPRINTS! Awesome. My dad drove late models but my uncle, eventually my cousins, drove open wheel - midgets, sprints, winged sprints. My uncle is enshrined at the High Banks Hall of Fame in Bellevue, KS (John Yonke). So glad this piece of mosports is getting due exposure. The cars are batsh!t crazy to drive, so the folks that drive them have to be at that same batsh!t level. Super fun to watch. From a spectator standpoint - cannot be beat, hands down. Thanks for all you are doing for this subculture of mosports.
Yeah you guys need it down there. Tennessee is my favorite state that I've lived in but I had to leave after 2 years cuz of the lack of open wheel dirt.
Really admire Brad Sweet. Being around him at Kelly's Pub when he didn't have two nickles to rub together... never doubting his talent behind the wheel, to now. Congrats guy, you have earned it. I myself would never pay to watch wing racing but went to Kokomo this year and had a great time! Will be going to the series closer at Putnumville here in a few weeks. So I am a huge fan of both Brad and Kyle and starting to see the value in Wing Sprint Car racing.
I was supposed to go to Putnamville, but lucky me, Enterprise screwed up my reservation and had no car and I couldn't get there. I hope they come back to LPS, or even consider Terre Haute, although the last WoO race I went to there, the track was in horrible condition.
yes you guys need to go to more dirt track races like a lucas oil late model race or even just a regular saturday night at a local track. the amount of talent that no one gets to see without nascar is insane
Great show as always guys. I would like to see a High Limit Late Model Series. Keep up the amazing content. Love Hank Parker Senior and Junior interviews..
Kinda sad last night was Dale's first ever sprint car race. I'm glad he finally got to one. They really do have to be seen to be believed. I always had fun taking people to their first sprint race. Take em down to the entry of turn 1 and watch their reaction to just how fast a sprinter enters the corner. Jaw dropping and breath taking is the best way to describe them. Living in central and then moving to northern California we were really lucky to watch both Brad and Kyle when they started out and then become the drivers they are today at Chico, Calistoga, Marysville, Hanford, Tulare, Santa Maria, Perris. Once they got rollin' there was no stopping them. Both have turned into two of the best ever. If it hauls ass and turns right to go left and you get dirt at the bottom of your beer, I'm Good ! !
I used to do the same thing with friends. Pay their way make them go to the sprint car race on a half mile dirt track and put them right against the fence coming out a turn four. It scared the hell out of them but then they knew why I like it so much.
Spot on. I've known the Sweet for many years. You couldn't find a better family. Kyle was so good so young it's incredible what they have accomplished. Being born and raised in NorCal and going to the races since I was 2 months old Im having the time of my racing life. Throw in some Rico, the young Corey Day and Buddy Kofoid what more can you ask for.
tuesday night thunder lol. thanks boyz. race fans love good racing. people just lack exposure. been goin to sprint car races all my life- dirt and winged pavement. it still amazes me. but im also blown away by cup cars. im lucky enough to have raced and be from a racing family so i guess im lucky. go to the deep south for the winters. . clay by the bay, before shes done. and.... and Dale could do a lost episodes maybe before they bulldoze it. Buzzie's home track. Will Cagle also ran a lot of races there.
I've been going to this track since 1972. The gentleman that bought it, Don Martin, (when the original three investors ran out of money), built the place and developed the reputation it currently has. I don't necessarily dislike LM's. However, with these modern LM chassis over the last fifteen or so years, the way the 410 drivers want the track to be and the way the Super drivers want it are at opposite ends of the spectrum. I enjoy watching racing on a track when it is as fast as it can be, like last night. And I prefer open wheel racing like 410's and N.E. style Modifieds. Great to see Dale, Jr. and Mike Davis there. Love Dale, Jr. download and I hope they enjoyed the show. 410 racing is best enjoyed live.
Idk. I've grown up my whole life liking pretty much everything on dirt. I didn't know there was really a divide. The only thing I've noticed is that certain areas/tracks steer towards certain types of dirt cars, but wouldn't really consider it a divide. I just want to see good racing. I don't care what it is.
My pops is a fan of Kyle Larson and got me interested in Nascar again recently, then I saw the high limit series was coming to a town close to where I live so I went. I'm now looking at getting into dirt racing myself 🙏
Need to come out to RPM Speedway in Crandall, TX. Small, fast track! Sprints put on great shows, & I'm a modified guy. They'll show up during the week for sure, done it before
I just went to my first nascar race at Bristol and the next week went to the 4 crown nationals at eldora. I’m hooked on both. Chastains hail melon got me hooked initially. I just wish we had a mascara track near Columbus Ohio.
The fact there brother in laws makes this a family business but with high standards on what fans want to see.. it’s weekly racing they grew up on intensified
Dale I know you are not allergic to making money so start streaming Nascar races. Lots of fans are getting the short end of the stick from NBC and FOX. Nascar and you could build a platform that would be better for drivers and teams. That would make us old school fans happy.
The dirt divide is very hard to explain for sure. I am a huge dirt late model fan, but I don’t dislike the sprints or winged sprints however I never go to watch them or watch a full program on stream. Very strange phenomenon for sure.
Hard to make the money to pay Sprint & Late Model drivers. Always thought there should be a series someone could run & get big crowds, as long as tickets weren't to crazy. Fit those Modifieds in when possible!
It mostly covers down to the facilities. You can't draw big crowds when it's just dudes coming to the races. Good, clean, efficient, dirt tracks are very rare. The promoter also plays a big role in it, most of them have no clue what they are doing. You look at every big money race, than watch videos of the facilities, you will see why they have money
Nah, put him in a full blown 410 winged sprint car, then he'll either get it, or he'll leave it alone. Honestly, I think Dale will like it, Amy and Kelly, probably not so much.
As great as it sounds to have a "New series," all it will do is run up the cost to build a competitive car. Before we know it, you will have to have a sponsor at your local dirt tracks, or you will be 2 laps down at the finish. It will bring in money for the tracks and communities for a week, but corporate money will outprice normal families with high ticket prices.
You get paid like $1,000-$1,500 if you just start the A main. That's the winning purse at some local tracks. Trust me, if you want to compete for a top 10. You need at least 800hp, 2 good fronts, a brave new left and right rear. Than just hope you got the stagger right because if you didn't, you need another new rear tire. That's ever race weekend, I've seen plenty of guys, buying used tires and trying to get 3 shows out of them. What you just said, has already been happening for the last 30 years
@cliff4695 i agree. This just makes it worse. Nascar has out priced small teams. Daytona used to have over 50 try to qualify and so did talladega and most weeks around 45 guys showed up to try to mke the field on qualify time. Hopefully I am wrong in my thinking
@@nickbrightwell7465 nascar implemented to many rules and regulations. It became so costly, that teams couldn't afford to race. They don't have practice for a reason. Less cars being torn up, less tires to buy. Nascar tried to go mainstream. They were the first bud light victim and nobody sees it. They want new fans, they just didn't realize new fans are the kids of the old fans. Sprint car racing is alive and well. These big series are not meant for local guys to compete in but like all racers, they will never turn down a challenge. My family was involved with Chad Kemenah years ago, when he ran local NW ohio tracks. It was so expensive back then, and that was 20+ years ago. We had tires stacked, titanium everything, $50K engines in the trailer, 2 full cars ready, and we were racing for $2,500 purses. It was a very expensive hobby but a business write off as well
Kyle definitely has the ability to pull fans to new forms of racing ,personally i dont understand or care abiut the ridiculous nascar gimick points thing , but i watch it because Kyle's there doing it
Let's see if this comment section can follow Kyle's lead on encouraging fans to discover and enjoy as many disciplines of motorsport as possible.. The sprint car cult was out in full force on the last upload, doing what fanboys do best...annoying actual fans.
Kyle and Brad have mentioned it before but what about to help efficiency have starters on the cars. Who cares if traditionally a sprint car doesn't have one, silver crown cars do. They could make it a requirement to run their shows. But then again it would be teams having to add and take off starter/wiring/button
Not caring about tradition is how NASCAR got itself in trouble. I've timed it many times before. It takes less than 2 minutes to push off a field. Things that drag a show on are endless track prep, 20 minute intermissions to sell hot dogs, unnecessary yellows, drivers stopping on the track when they could pull off, and open reds. (I think we've gotten away from the open reds by now.)
LOT more to it than adding a Starter/wiring/button. Ur getn into a very small drive train. And a Direct drive @ that! And very lil room. There's A lot to it. And a lot more to go wrong/fail. Dont fix what is not broken. There's places that push the show on @ good pace such as this Hi Limit series. Or say A Troohy Cup event out in Tulare CA.
Ok smart guy, how do they do it? Have you ever seen the inside of a car? Have you ever put one together? What you just mentioned, would require ever car to be thrown away, every chassis manufacturer works have to start over. I bet you have no clue where the fuel pump is even located 😂😂. Boy,I thought I read the dumbest comment at the top of this page, turns out, it was at the very bottom of the page. Congrats, you won the, what an ldlot award!
There’s literally no room for a starter in a sprint car. A silver crown car is very different, way bigger and longer wheel base. It would never work. Maybe tell your track to get more push trucks if you don’t think it’s efficient.
Nascar fans are sick of the big fines officials put on teams, dirt trackers don't get fines like that. Cup races would get more fans in but tickets are high.
In America, the heart of racing is in the local tracks. Kyle never forgot where he came from and enjoys the local competition. This is why he has the best fans. Good luck!

KUDOS to Dale Jr for helping to promote 410 Sprint Car Racing by attending these events.
Yes! Dirt tack stuff, love it! Also i am from Chico where Larson and Sweet promote and run at Silver Dollar Speedway. Giving back to their roots!
Me too in Chico -great they are keeping events alive, but do miss the weekly locals!
That was fun, strange seeing Jr at my local dirt track, crowd was HUGE, glad I went

I hope you to bring your series up the Southern Michigan. Outlaws bypassed us last year. Good luck to Kyle and Brad.
They hit kokomo Indiana, it's not far south of Michigan, and they put on an INCREDIBLE show there!!!
They were all over NW Ohio. Did you come see them?

You should have truck driver Wild Wild West. Cool dude and helped drive Josh’s rig. Could be a fun potential show for dirty mo since he already vlogs

Great interview. Mike better lay of.the groceries. :)
You should try going to a BIG BLOCK MODIFIED race in the STSS (SHORT TRACK SUPER SERIES). Stewart Freisen runs in that series.

He is the CEO of the series he should be talking. Don't see any of there hints your talking about
