Seen many forms of racing over ths years including nascar and indy car, but nothing compares to 25 of those 900+hp fighter jets flying around a race track..high, low, middle. The slidejobs, the vapor trails, the wheel stands, the crazy fans etc. Nothing like it in motorsports!!
Always great to get a boost for grass roots dirt racing! Appreciate Jr’s support and Larson’s and Brad Sweets’s efforts. It’s just SO good for racing as a whole!
I think if all these tours like world of outlaws, lucas oil late models, pavement modifieds, cars tour, usac ect. unified they could put together something that could compete directly with nascar on television
After all these years, Jr finally understands dirt racing. Its all good but, nothing compares to the 410 series. Best of all, he really enjoyed himself
410 Sprint cars are the greatest show on earth. More horsepower and half the weight of almost any other racing car. Jr. needs to take one for a spin!!! Glad you guys had such a good time, and I hope to see you do more shows like this!
I live in Indiana and after moving here 10 years ago from Washington state I was able to go experience dirt for the first time this year. I’m now a fan. I went to 5 different tracks and watched hornets to sprint cars. Unbelievable how many people race dirt compare to asphalt. I know find myself wanting more
Asphalt is for paving roads that take you to dirt tracks where they race. You have some great tracks in Indiana. I liked Gas City, it's a Chico CA , Silver Dollar Speedway with a better surface. Gas City is one racy joint.
Skagit speedway in Washington state is a national level facility that place is awesome. There is great dirt racing on the west coast but yeah the popularity is on another level in the Midwest
Also like the other person said eldora is a must. The sold out atmosphere with 30k people there is crazy. Kings royal and world 100 late model race are the two biggest events
I worked the fire crew and pushed for a number of years at Port Royal. They are correct. Watching from the stands and watching from just inside the turn 3 -4 wall is so much different. When they come into the turn wide open and pass within ten to fifteen feet of you, the sheer power and speed and sound of these cars cuts right through you. It definitely gives you a whole new perspective and respect for the speed these cars are traveling. If you ever have the chance to experience that, DO IT.
This is awesome. It’s so amazing how two legends are so passionate about where they came from and helping each other make their individual series that much better. Everybody wins in this scenario. And just so happens to be my 2 favorite drivers! I love it.
I just think is so badass that Dale Jr. A guy many think can walk on water and is such an icon to the sport of "Racing"can stay so humble and not let any of that ever go to his head says a lot about a man. To hang out with the people that make it all happen, walk with the fans to getting your own dam cheeseburgers.. That is so dam cool man and the reason your legacy will live on for many generations 👍
The idea that you like to check other forms of racing out shows me and others I am sure that you care about and support all kinds of racing. I am 71 years old and I have always been a fan even though I have never been to a Nascar race. You have always had a lot of class and I really enjoy your show.
I've seen some terrific dirt track racing at Lernerville over the decades. Glad Dale, Mike and crew enjoyed the night and have a new appreciation for it. It's good for local racing.
Thanks for the shout out! Glad you liked your ride in my Jeep, and remember to come to the Dirt Track at Charlotte for the World Finals and I will let you drive :-)
Grew up in the 70's at Lernerville and Mercer, at 15 years old I was able to help crew with a local legend who also happens to be TJ'S dad, great times to grow up.
Always great to see how you all support the grass roots racers...... mike is right, unless you have been close to a sprint car cornering at full song, you cant understand how that is possible.....brings back memories of Super Dirt week at Syracuse when the Outlaws ran on the Moody Mile...Those boys were blurs.......
Being someone who grew up in the pits of midget and sprint car racing, I love to see Jr and so many more getting to experience just what it is. Even if for just a brief moment.
Thanks for SOS... Saving Our Sport. Your passion for sports shows through. I was running a sportman during a spring practice. There was a Sprint Car at the track. The very first time he went screaming by me I felt like I was in a bad Hugo...
Dale Jr your excitement and perspectives about 410 sprint car racing is awesome. Your presence and podcast just helped sprint car racing grow. Great job to you and your podcast team.
As someone who is a full time employee at Lernerville, I have to say, the vibe at the track that night was just different. Good different! Everyone there was so happy to be there and experience some great racing! Was a hell of a night for all involved. Even if I didn't get a chance to get Dale to sign my cast cuz I was doing fan pit pass upgrades lol
Looking forward to hearing what you think of Dirt late model racing Dale. If you every get a chance I hope you attend a Big Block Super Dirtcar series race. thanks for supporting small town local tracks.
I know there are hundreds of dirt tracks across this great nation but Looneyville is something special Been goin there since as a infant in 1968. RIP Don Martin.
"Cousin" Davey!! David Gravel taking the $50,000 with Dale Jr watchin! Kiiiiick Ass!!! To bad Jeff Gordon wasn't there with his sprint car background to join you guys.
Dale junior, you have an incredible life! From a stock car legend son and two time Busch series champion & one of the most popular Winston cup/NASCAR drivers and my favorite after your dad and now you are an ambassador in stock car racing. I wish your dad as well as my dad could see all the cool things you're doing online as well as buying the CARS tour. Me and my dad would go to Hooters cup races in Lakeland and new Smyrna FL back in the day it would be so awesome to see the CARS race in person. Me and my dad were truck drivers I know how it's like to look up to your old man and we see this Burt Reynolds character when I'm five years old gear jamming checking on the CB every now and then putting the mic in front of me when I was 5 years old, or even going to the junk yards to get parts for the 53 Chevy Bel Air we restored in many of his restorations. Or of course going to NASCAR races or stock car races or dirt track races where we bonded the most outside the 18 Wheeler and our classic cars. One of the last soundings me and my dad ever went to before his passing in November 2013 was the Turkey rod run classic car show November 2012 at Daytona Speedway even though we didn't get four past the gate cause dad couldn't really walk too well it was a great bonding moment at the world's most famous Speedway. Thank you for everything you've done Dale Earnhardt junior! God bless you and your family and friends As well as us fans of yours!
Some of the best racing on Earth 410 sprints !! I remember Sammy Swindell , Doug Wolfgang , Tony Stewart , Jeff Gordon as a 17 year old kid in the Baby Ruth car !! Those were the days!!
That was so awesome of Mike and Dale. Going to that Sprint core event. They look really excited about them and how fast and how sideways they go. God bless you!
Dale you really want to see some of the best sprint car racing you have to come to Williams Grove speedway for the national open and cross the pedestrian bridge before they remove it for good. You also have to sit on "BEER HILL" at the grove and experience that. They also have beer hill merch as well.Than another one I recommend is coming back to Port Royal speedway for the Tuscarora 50 and watch the whole weekend.
Thank you for doing this Dale. I’ve been eagerly waiting for this episode! I hope you loved it. I love the DJD and hearing all the old guard on the show. I love dirt racing, my family has been racing dirt since the early 50’s so this is near and dear to my heart.
We had them at Grandview Speedway this year.Joey Saldana once said that driving a sprint car at Grandview is like flying a jet fighter in a high school gymnasium
Larson is so talented and fortunate to get these extra dirt rides, being able to bring in Dirty Mo - fan fking tastic to see Dale and Mike flying in for yhe night, special for All fand alike, even here on U-tube... Do it in tbe Dirt!
I started watching dirt racing in part because of Kenny Wallace and Ken Schneider. Watch the Cars Tour because of Junior. Larson is a great spokesperson for the the average fan.
I think it's great that you went and seemed to enjoy the product. What you do by bringing attention to the sprint car world and short track racing in general is awesome. Big series need grass roots racing and a rising tide will raise all ships. Thanks again for what you do.
Don't know if Jr. has ever witnessed a NHRA event or not but I HIGHLY recommend attending the spring race at Charlotte where they are 4 wide. It is the SHOW OF ALL SHOWS
We used to run the firecracker in Super Lates. In 2009ish there was the biggest reddest full moon hanging over back stretch. They had a country concert and I looked over my shoulder and it was Scott Bloomquist so we started talking. We were pitted close to each other and shot the Sh*t awhile to my crews amazement(they said he doesn't talk to anyone). 2 years later he stopped and said Hi to me passing each other at PRI! My home track now is Port Royal, Larson came close to that 62k payday!
Port Royal next year for the rumble by the river with Lucas oil latemodels. Put it on your schedule. 2 day show you won’t want to miss. Also the “support” class modifieds put on a heck of a show there too.
I grew up between Johnstown and Somerset. My dad would take me to Jennerstown Speedway which was a dirt track back in the 70’s-80’s. I remember a driver named Donnie Allison who drove the #1 Cochran car. I could never confirm he was NASCAR’s Donnie Allison. I’m sure there are old pics in the many photo albums packed away in my Mother’s attic. Any confirmation by others would be appreciated.
well done, and the enthusiasm + knowledge of that young man is exactly what one of my charitable programs COVID interrupted that used fishing & racing to show why mastering math & science meant using those 2 sides of the same coin to get priceless memories from crazy stupid fun that may could also become 1 or 2 or 3 or more careers!
That’s awesome. So glad you brought Wyatt. He’s a good racer. My favorite kind of racing. Did you sit close enough to need goggles? Made the mistake of getting to my first race late at New Smyrna and having to sit low. You can get a concussion watching as the dirt chunks fly. Glad you enjoyed and shared your experience. Liked the DJD with Kyle & Brad. You do a great job. My favorite podcast. I learn so much about you in every episode.
Dirt Racing is got all the Action! Best racing for sure. You can be the best and find yourself on the wall in turn two. Never know what you just might get. Super Late models are my favorite. Like all racing But you like scary? CHECK OUT THE BAD FAST TAZ AT TAZEWELL, TN.
Someone at Dirty Mo, let Dale Jr. know that once he's gotten to go to a Dirt Late Model race, he needs to come up to NY and check out a Big Block Modified event. He's talked with Gary Balough, who won the Syracuse 200. Brett Hearn and Barefoot Bob McCreadie made Big Blocks popular in the 80's and 90's and Stewart Friesen from the NASCAR Truck Series started in Big Block mods... And no, these cars aren't those goofy looking things they run in IMCA or UMP modified competition. They're their own thing.
Definitely big block mods are my second favorite after a sprint car could it possibly be because they are kinda one in the same I like watching super short track series for sure
dirt track fans will spend every last dollar they have to make it to the track middle of the week weekend it dont matter to support the racing. they are loyal especially with local drivers
Sprint car racing is everything that nascar. Is not. The races are shorter, more exciting, no wokeness, the series loves their old fans, cars are cooler and sound better
You should watch the Outlaw Enduro Car Series and the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series 358 Modifieds at GRANDVIEW Speedway in Becktelsville Pa. 10 miles north of Pottstown just off Rt 100 on Passmore Road. It's a high banked 1/3 mile dirt oval with lots of side by side racing. Kyle Larson and Tony Stewart did some 410 Sprint Car racing there too.
Gotta come here to Iowa to the Sprint car capital of the world, Knoxville Iowa ...... Just went to the Knoxville Late Model Nationals a couple of weeks ago and have to a dozen or so Sprint car nationals over the years .....
Brad Sweet also holds the track record at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, Ca. He probably holds many more records. I’m hoping to see Brad at the Trophy Cup race in October if he can make it!
It would be great if jr could go incognito to experience several dirt tracks and several kinds of cars and really get knee deep in that culture for that night and then report back, surprising everyone that he was there, but hard to pull off today
This is where the real racefans are. When you can go to a track and watch the show, sympathize with the guys who 'do it' well but had some hard luck, pull for the the little guy who's racing using skill and hard work to make up for his lack of money, the guy who knows if he tears up his car He's done racing for a long time. The teams who let someone in a points fight barrow their spare car so they don't miss a race. The drivers who say what they mean and not just put on an act for sponsors. The place where five laps from the checkered flag you 'know' that this race is an example of why you are a fan, not big buck sponsors and celebrity drivers. This is real racing!
Yeah definitely. Can not count the number of times I have seen independent drivers driving cars with borrowed parts after getting torn up in a heat. I remember one race. Kid tore up his top wing. No replacement. Out of nowhere someone in the crowd passed the hat around and bought a top wing from another team. Car comes out. No sponsorship, just a crudely painted "THANK YOU" . Very special memory.
Seen many forms of racing over ths years including nascar and indy car, but nothing compares to 25 of those 900+hp fighter jets flying around a race track..high, low, middle. The slidejobs, the vapor trails, the wheel stands, the crazy fans etc. Nothing like it in motorsports!!
winged sprint cars put on a great show-but the USAC wingless cars are crazy -much wilder show
Dirt racing is the best on track product that you can see in the racing world. I hope and want this sport to continue to grow.🤙🏁
Always great to get a boost for grass roots dirt racing! Appreciate Jr’s support and Larson’s and Brad Sweets’s efforts. It’s just SO good for racing as a whole!
All this dirt coverage is great
Nothing beats 410 sprint car racing
Thank you for stepping into our world and thankful you had a great time!
I love about all forms of motorsports but dirt latemodels and 410 sprint cars are absolutely tops
Agreed. About time us dirt guys get some recognition.
Yes. Indeed
love the genuine excitement by these guys when they describe the night. Super cool to see. Thank you for promoting the sport ive loved my whole life.
Absolutely nothing compares to a 410 some people snort for it jab a vain for it and all one has to do is strap in
Now Dale JR knows why we love dirt racing.
410 Sprint cars are the greatest show on earth. More horsepower and half the weight of almost any other racing car. Jr. needs to take one for a spin!!! Glad you guys had such a good time, and I hope to see you do more shows like this!
Very glad you'll had a great time
Fantastic episode!
Jr, Mike, LW, and Wyatt ... great job on both episodes!
That's why I NEVER miss the DJD!!!
Thanks!
Are you going to attend the world finals in Charlotte dirt track in Nov? You should

Get yourself to Eldora. It's amazing. I've been to Knoxville for the Nationals as well.
My home track is in southern Indiana, Tri-State speedway.
Lawrenceburg is worth seeing if you haven't been there yet too. Glad to hear you enjoyed the move
Always awesome when racing legends show up at the local dirt track
Anyone else excited Dale is getting into dirt? And was that Kerry inside the Trailer?
"the fans are passionate" Bud your in the heart of P A posse country it don't get more passionate for sprint car racing

Dale and Mike! Fairbury Speedway for the 2024 Prairie Dirt Classic!!! Best dirt late model race in the country
That was be amazing to get to just hanging and watch sprint cars with Dale Jr.
Glad ya came and glad i was there to see the record be broke.....i was there 21 years ago to see it broke then ....how many can say that awsome
As someone who is a full time employee at Lernerville, I have to say, the vibe at the track that night was just different. Good different! Looking forward to hearing what you think of Dirt late model racing Dale. If you every get a chance I hope you attend a Big Block Super Dirtcar series race. thanks for supporting small town local tracks.
yes, the mods are awesome.
Was great seeing it, when Tony Stewart took Waltrip around the track in that 2 seater Late Model. Wild ride for Waltrip! Gotta get JR in that!
The young men and women with the same passion and excitement as Wyatt will drive the future of racing. Best of luck to you, young man. 🏆
I know there are hundreds of dirt tracks across this great nation but Looneyville is something special Been goin there since as a infant in 1968. RIP Don Martin.
Love the show and how you guys mingled with the fans and enjoyed you time at the track down to earth guys
And the dirt…it’s everywhere. Even ends up in your pockets 🤣🤣🤣 love dirt racing ❤️👋🦩
It’s so strange seeing Dale Jr hanging out at the dirt track lol but glad to see it!
"Cousin" Davey!! David Gravel taking the $50,000 with Dale Jr watchin! Kiiiiick Ass!!! To bad Jeff Gordon wasn't there with his sprint car background to join you guys.

That was so awesome of Mike and Dale. Going to that Sprint core event. They look really excited about them and how fast and how sideways they go. God bless you!
BAR NONE!!! BEST TYPE OF RACING is the sprints, Steve Kinser is still the king of the sprint cars, but young money IS pretty awesome
I'm glad that they loved being there and enjoying the racing

Come to Knoxville Nationals JR if you want the best of the best
I think it's great that you went and seemed to enjoy the product. What you do by bringing attention to the sprint car world and short track racing in general is awesome. Big series need grass roots racing and a rising tide will raise all ships. Thanks again for what you do.
Your nephew Wyatt is carrying on the family tradition of racing. Be proud of him.
Raised on sprint cars love ‘em
Hey you guys really need to try and Make it to the Knoxville Nationals next year!!
Don't know if Jr. has ever witnessed a NHRA event or not but I HIGHLY recommend attending the spring race at Charlotte where they are 4 wide. It is the SHOW OF ALL SHOWS
That's real racing right there buddy, not NASCAR bullshit
Pennsylvania loves it’s Dirt Track racing! Sitting in the turn 4 stands at Lernerville ?, bring good eye protection !!
Please go to a dirt late model race
You should come to the Knoxville Nationals
We used to run the firecracker in Super Lates. In 2009ish there was the biggest reddest full moon hanging over back stretch. They had a country concert and I looked over my shoulder and it was Scott Bloomquist so we started talking. We were pitted close to each other and shot the Sh*t awhile to my crews amazement(they said he doesn't talk to anyone). 2 years later he stopped and said Hi to me passing each other at PRI! My home track now is Port Royal, Larson came close to that 62k payday!
Now Kyle has to invite you’ll to a dirt late model show. Just as impressive if not more with a full bodied car.
Now you guys should come to the Hangtown 100 USAC Midget Races in Placerville with Kyle
well done, and the enthusiasm + knowledge of that young man is exactly what one of my charitable programs COVID interrupted that used fishing & racing to show why mastering math & science meant using those 2 sides of the same coin to get priceless memories from crazy stupid fun that may could also become 1 or 2 or 3 or more careers!
Like all racing
But you like scary?
CHECK OUT THE BAD FAST TAZ AT TAZEWELL, TN.
Someone at Dirty Mo, let Dale Jr. know that once he's gotten to go to a Dirt Late Model race, he needs to come up to NY and check out a Big Block Modified event. You could hear Lernerville from where I went to high school. Nothing this interesting ever happened there when I was growing up 😂
Awesome
He shoulda went to Williams Grove or Port Royal if going to dirt racing in PA.
dirt track fans will spend every last dollar they have to make it to the track middle of the week weekend it dont matter to support the racing. they are loyal especially with local drivers
How in the world has Jr never been to a sprint car race?! Dude, yall gotta hit Eldora!
are u kidding Kyle Larson and Dale Jr. in one sales vehicle, sales of a years time!
Sprint car racing is everything that nascar. Is not. The races are shorter, more exciting, no wokeness, the series loves their old fans, cars are cooler and sound better
Well said dirt racing period nascar forgot where it came from
When are we going to see Junebug in a dirt late model/sprint car, when and where
I have one thing to say Dale...CHILI BOWL!!!
410 with massive squeeze is IT
Sprint car racing at Lernerville is always fantastic. Keep Taylor Junior home. He could care less, follow the money.
Lernerville is a great track
Can't beat down home racing
Would love to see Dale Jr come race at montgomery motor speedway
NASCAR could only wish😢
You should watch the Outlaw Enduro Car Series and the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series 358 Modifieds at GRANDVIEW Speedway in Becktelsville Pa. 10 miles north of Pottstown just off Rt 100 on Passmore Road. Went to Caraway to see Larson run the CARS tour, thanks for the swap!
Volusia in February. Late Models, sprints and big block modifies.😊
Go larson and go dale
