In person these sound so great. When I worked at GC, we got one in on a trade in. While it was on police hold, we kept it in the warehouse and would jam out on it. All knobs set to noon sounded good. No need to even EQ the damn thing. Seriously one of the best feeling amps I have ever played though.

Awesome story! I didn't fully understand the hype until I tried this, and of course, now I'd love a real one more than anything! Even during the course of making this, I realized just how little to no help this amp needs to sound the part. Cheers!

I own a VH4 and I'm really disappointed with the plugin. But basically I have to admit, it's the hardest amp to model on the market. basically no company did it properly so far. It's because of the aliasing digital models do and therefore the low harmonics don't bloom like on the real deal.
Not that it sounds bad, it's just the problem of claiming it's "this amp".

I would be mind blown if I had this when I was a kid, but as an adult it just sounds to plastic compared to other things I can use (obviously price is a big deal and all)
