Thank god 4 people like u
Thanks for tutorials boss
Great video. Can you please list the equipment needed and how to connect to livestream with this controller and app?🙏
quality video mate
Thanks for the video! So when using the split cable the sound out to the speakers can only be mono?
I guess you can get the sound in stereo if you use your laptop and a soundcard right?
Just arrived & setting it up!.. I’ve got the WeDJ app but my iPad Air won’t Bluetooth to the controller? Any ideas?
Hi there! Awesome review video!!! Is it possible for me to record and/or stream my dj set on platforms such as Instagram, RUclips or Facebook??? Thanks a lot! Best regards
As an old vinyl headed Luddite, how the hell do I use the various different software/ streaming platforms! This video was really useful, tell me you made a follow up for the software. Cheers admins happy Xmas - 3stools
Is there a quick way to put all your music files into WeDJ? Only thing I seem to be able to do is to call up each track from an album individually, then create it as a playlist! And create/add your own samples?
FYI - Spotify no longer works outside of its own environment - they don’t like people using it as a music source for DJ software - when it did work, it only worked with the premium version!
Great video thank you. Could you advise me on how you have attached your cam to the master sound and how did you put a mic on at the same time. I would like to start doing Facebook live sets but can't work out the setup. Thsnk you for your time👏👍👍
Ratzi had the 200's output plugged into an external mixer, and then that into an audio interface, connected to his laptop. Check it here:

Good video man. Can you connect to a mic with XLR?
Can I use my phone as a speaker? And Also if I can can my headphones still work?
I bought this to start doing some dj as it has always been a passion. but I am having issues downloading WeDJ on my laptop as I wear glasses and my phone screen is too small for viewing. Also, I tried the Serato DJ lite on my laptop but when i play music i can hear it both on my speaker and headphones and I am not able to pre-listen /monitor the next track solely on my headphone. Please any help is appreciated.
What kind of speakers do you suggest with great sound that connect to ddj200?
I really need help. Everything is set up correctly, phone settings correct yet I can’t get any sound through my speakers when using the WeDJ app. The speakers are working fine, I can play my music from my phone library through the speakers so that isn’t the issue. I really don’t know what to do
Nice set up! What are the speakers?
Dope 👍
Thanks 🔥 Don't forget to sub!
Can you connect mic while DJING on this DDJ 200? and how you are recording this speech (Using your Mic) ??
What do i need to use my headphones & audio if im using a laptop
Does this work with a Traktor audio 2 sound card!
I've been looking for a controller to work well with Android... Wego4 seems like a better choice... To take to a club... Having a soundcard... Connect straight to a mixer, soundcard etc...
I have purchased a separate RCA red/white cable and I plug this into the y-splitter cable that comes with the controller which then connects to my phone. The speaker I use is a Bluetooth speaker but has the ports for the rca red/white cable, but when I have headphones and speaker (connected via the rca cable) connected to the y-splitter cable, I cannot hear any music. Why would this be?
Go into settings in WeDJ app go audio and turn on spilt output
What is the audio setup here for speakers out?
Hi how did you connect the mic thanks.
Good job my son got these for Xmas
Cool! How is he getting on with it?
@@djkit he’s still learning but loving life making music
Can you point me in the direction of the best speaker for this. using my old logitech pc ones at the moment and looking for a louder set which are compatible. thanks
Dm40 speakers
Is your set without subscription. Im not interested in monthly payments & use without pad phones or app. Just Music library on external hard drive, macbook pro, DJ-200, and free version rekordbox. Is that possible?
which app should i use on android?
I've just got one of these and I've just started out. this is a cracking video great help thanks. Anything else you think would help me out please Share
Glad it helped! Don't forget top sub for more videos!
Hay man how do you get to baby scratch
Is there any way to connect to 2 speakers? Stereo or only mono
You can connect mono through the cabble that comes with it, or stereo through some external sound cart with a notebook
When you do the apps video please will you cover djay connectivity to an Android smartphone. Unlike djay for iPhones (which uses bluetooth midi) Android smartphones need a UBS cable. Does that mean that the controller powers from your smartphone? And at the smartphone end of the cable what flavour of USB connector is provided. If it is USB-A on the cable and you have a USB-C or USB micro smartphone, do you need a converter? Will djay be releasing a version for Android smartphones with bluetooth some time soon? Thanks.
New ddj-200 controller arrived today. Android smartphone powers the controller fine. I needed a USB-A to USB-C lead to connect the controller to my Android smartphone. Streaming from Spotify Android is fine over the cable connection. Hopefully a bluetooth midi version of Android djay will be released soon. If you have any news on that please let me know.
What speakers should I buy that are compatible with this as I only have Bluetooth speakers in my house hold
Any speakers with RCA Inputs with it is good.
Is it exist a low-budget pioneer dj like this but with microphone input and compatibility with android?
Ddj 400
Does anyone know how and where to enter the PIN when pairing via bluetooth on the phone and pc to be able to use DDJ 200?
As i know, DDJ 200 uncompatible with several devices. Do you used Android phone ?
If yes, it means DDJ 200 unsuitable with your phone/gadget.
I've try when i used Android phone and connecting to Djay Pro Algoriddim it can't work.
The devices need PIN and our devices can't support it
You dont need a pin to connect with android. Just turn on the bluetooth and connect using the app edjing. After that, you can go in Djay and thr device will be connected. I tested on Galaxy S8 and Note 9.
Hey thanks for the tutorial how do u connect your mic?
Hey! Thanks for the comment. The mic was connected to a separate mixer for the purpose of filming this video. There is no mic input on the DDJ-200!
Can I play gigs with this. I don't have any kind of mixer or interface, i am thinking of connecting My laptop aux direct to speakers through rca to aux, will that work
It will work, but there are better options out there if you're planning playing out!
does the speakers come with a lead connecting to the splitter
The DM-40s do yes:

One must take note when purchasing the Pioneer DDJ-200, that whilst you may have a paid for account to stream music via Apple Music, or Tidal, one CANNOT record any set unless music is purchased.
Second factor, you may have downloaded your music via your Apple or Tidal accounts, BUT if you are in a remote location with no cellphone signal- only purchased tracks will be able to load.
Another key is that this controller does not have any output for any cables on the actual controller, the only output is via a split cable that connects to your headphones and your AUX cable.
If you have an IPhone, you cannot charge your phone while mixing unless you have an iPhone lightning to headphone Jack adapter.
If you are broadcasting via Bluetooth to a Bluetooth speaker, one cannot use headphones.
There are many other reasons to consider saving rather for a Pioneer DDJ-400 an upward if you really want to get into dJing.
Hope this helps.
Great content, but I’m having a problem with sound. I bought a ddj200 for my son and the sound out of the headphones AND the speakers even when turned right up to full volume is really quiet ! What are we doing wrong ? I thought initially it was a sound card failure but I now see that the 200 doesn’t have one inbuilt, so it must be something we’re not doing right on the actual app then right ? He’s running it on an iPhone and using WeDj, he’s only 13 and a complete novice but he’s at a stage now where he’s really frustrated and he says he’s tried everything ! HELP !! Lol
A Frustrated parent 🤷♂️👍
Hey mate hope you and your son have resolved the problem if not...I would suggest going in to the wedj app and in settings there are various options FAQs then troubleshooting might fix your problem. Also there is no sound card in the controller everything is done via the iPhone itself. The controller is just used via Bluetooth to manipulate what's happening on the iPhones screen. If your problem persists let me know and I will try to set up my ddj 200 and iPhone to your set up. LOL it could just be that the iPhone volume is too low. Good luck and don't forget you need a powered speaker system with like the pioneer DM 40 in the video.
Hi having this problem also any way I can resolve this?
will the usb cable make it compatible with a mac book air?
Schmidt reynolds yes. But you need to use audio out on the MacBook
How to connect the controller to your headphones and the speakers at the same time? Is that even possible?
Pioneer provides a split cable with two 3.5 mm female jack inputs going into a single 3.5mm jack which will go into the phones dongle or headphone jack. The two split 3.5 females will then house the headphones and the other a 3.5 mm to red white RCA (one) which will then go into the pioneer DM 40 (which are made specifically for the ddj 400). It sounds complicated but it's piss easy if you have all the gear in the video.
@@xaviergms2225 I have figured it out already. Thanks for replying tho :)
Can this be used for laptop aswell
How do you connect a microphone to this set up
Plug the mic in ur laptop
What if your using an i phone?
Hi, can anyone help.
I have one of these and i get delay from the unit ie, when i scratch the pad there is half beat delay from fingers to sound. Also in the headphones to speaker is half beat delay. Anyone know why .
Any help much appreciated
Hey Ismail, are you using this with a mobile or ipad? If so, have you tried using the DDJ-200 hardwired to a laptop?
@@djkit
Thanks for the reply, yes i did try a laptop and still had the lag issue. It was a chrome book. Plugged the controller direct into the laptop.
@@djkit i am trying with a friends ipad soon
Guys if you have bluetooth speakers just connect your phone or tablet to it and it will work also. Thats what i use for my setup.
what if your Bluetooth cut off while your playing with a crowd of people?
Then your fucked
Then you're up shit creek without a paddle.
bluetooth is a connection 3:16 XD
Make sure you put your phone on airplane mode so all your weed calls don't interrupt your set. Lol
What the sound quality like?
This controller doesn't have a sound card in it, it uses the sound card in whatever phone / tablet / laptop you have it connected to.
Hi what speakers
www.djkit.com/pioneer-dj/pioneer-dm-40bt-black-active-monitors-pair.html
Why not use wireless 'headp' or airpods problem fixed
The headphone splitter that is supplied works fine!
I think Dj Has Evolved..But why Need a Headphone spliter?...
It's convenient for compact size. Splitter cables can split a mono signal for cueing, without stressing an external pre-interface.
Chris Tucker if you don’t need pre queuing you don’t need it
Zero outputs.
Use wireless
Great video, I love the mixer, even as an old school dj who learned with vinyls, I am amazed where the tech is now and those automatic transitions are clean and cool and sure fun to play with, anyway, check out my channel with some of my old uploaded mixes, I didnt upload for years but some good stuff is there.
Don't bother with this product if you have a Huawei Mate20x. The jog wheel lag is unbearable. No other feature lags...
Another annoying thing, you can't connect your laptop via Bluetooth. Why? Who knows...
Interesting! Thanks for your comment, just the jogwheel?
