i’m so happy!! that was the first time i ever worked out bc i want to be stronger in my skating, rather than look better whilst skating. it might not seem that important but that was huge for me. i wasn’t thinking about ‘burning off what i ate’, it was more ‘i cant wait to be stronger and skate the best i can’. :)))

I’ve been working out to this video for a couple days. Five years ago I used to run 3 mile track meets and nothing has made me sweat as much as following you since. And I can’t do anything you do with your arms or planking. Wow! Is this what you do everyday? I really want to get into shape.
Wow the work out was really exhausting. I train with your videos because I want to figure skating in the future because there is no ice ring near me. And even if I don't start figure skating at elementary school age, I won't let myself be stopped. It's never too late to do something you love. Thank you for motivating me.

I did skate for a while a few years ago. And I decided to start again ! Tomorrow I will be going to the rink again and try skating. Last night before I skate, I decided to try this workout and this video showed me that how my body turned into a rock . I was practicing single jumps off ice and I am feeling it on my knees way too much. From my research, it seems I need stronger quads and glutes. Thanks so much! I'm gonna stop jumping for now and focus on strength/flexibility haha I'm 27 now and want to make the best of figure skating.

I'm not a figure skater (I'm interested in it but I don't live near any rinks) but I would like to have the flexibility of one. I have a bit of flexibility in my legs bcuz I started doing some stretches but not a whole lot lol. Hopefully this will help me.

I am thinking about starting figure skating. I am an adult male. SofaBar since you are an advanced figure Skater and have been through this would you have any tips Suggestions of brands to get or what to or not to get or anyone else here that reads this or may know. I have read it is a good idea to wear a helmet and read about wearing some kind of padded shorts or padded long pants and something about padded hand braces of some sorts and knee and elbow pads. Should I buy all that for beginning skating. If so what brand or helmet would you recommend to buy as well as knee Elbow and hand pads or braces. Any specific type or brand and should I buy padded shorts or padded long pants and any recommendation beings you went through this as a kid and you know what’s good or not in figure Skating. Your video was great!! Excited to try it!! Figure Skating looks like Tons of fun!! Any help is appreciated!!

I've only managed 3 real lessons before everything shut down 😑) And to answer a question you asked upper, every sport is good for losing weight, these 15mins too ;)... even though they might not be enough. Good luck (and work!) with getting professionnal... You can do it!
