Oh my goodness, I can't believe I am just now seeing this. You must think I'm so rude by not thanking you. I just learned how to sort comments and so I'm seeing this for the first time today. Thank you so very much, you are so kind and generous, Anne! Please forgive me for not thanking you sooner! Happy Holidays!
Thanks for sharing! When I did these before I used can chickpeas and they worked okay but took longer air crisping. I look forward to trying the dry beans next time.
You are such a great hostess of this channel! I'm always inspired by your Foodi creations. My family has enjoyed a lot of great meals, thanks to you. Thank you!
THANK YOU for making a great snack recipe that has been so challenging on high-priced snacks, this helps so much. As always you improve so many lives with your channel
Oh I have so many garbanzo bean recipes but always used canned because I didn’t really know how to process them. Now I do.. Thanks for that part as well as the rest of the recipe.
I just made these. I used all of the seasonings for each cup, I made 2 cups at once. So delicious! I’d never had these before. Really enjoyed them. Your recipes are my go to, thanks!
I just love you! Your personality is awesome and I totally appreciate the amount of testing you do before filming a recipe! I have never made one of your recipes that has not turned out fabulous!
Thank you Cathy. Approximately how long will these remain crunchy? I hope long enough for me to carry a waxed paper bundle and crunch on during the day. I'm a big hummus eater but these crunchy beans may become more of a staple in my diet if they hold up.
I let them cool and put them in a plastic bag and I’m still eating them a month later! They do lose a little crunch, but they are still delicious. I had no issues with crunch the first few days. Enjoy!
I made some for 5he first time today and found some were crispy and some were still soft. While browsing online I found that some people air fried them for 5 mins to dry them out before the oil and seating . That makes a lot of sense so will be doing that next time..
Hi do you have a link to buy the pop up black cooling rack grill/dryer? Once you took out the chickpeas you rest them on it. We love the videos we’ve already subscribed, thanks and lots of love from the UK XXX.
@@TheSaltedPepper Hi thanks for the reply, after I messaged you I looked on Amazon uk and found a similar product which I bought and have just been delivered. Thanks again all the best.
Ma'am, that was most certainly not just a teaspoon of oil 😅 Anyway, these look delicious and im definitely going to try them! Any suggestions how to serve them as part of a full meal? What to pair them with? I think they would have to be their own seperate element, because soup or salad would just make them soggy.
@@TheSaltedPepper Im Dutch so im using an actual teaspoon instead of those measuring cup thingies. Now Im wondering if my teaspoons are just ridiculously small 🤣
I’m presuming if a person doesn’t have a pressure cooker one can just boil them to the required “al dente” level!??? Which wld take about 30 mins.. depending! Do you have a sweet /salty version??
I mostly make chickpea curry with or without pressure cook. But for me it take 45-60 minutes without pressure cooker, depending on the soaking time of dry beans
Thanks!

Don’t think i can get that excited with them
Hi, when you pressure cook, are they in the basket, or in the water?
Pressure cook in the liquid - no basket or rack

These might be good tossed on a salad for a little crunch.

The cooling racks I use are from Pampered chef and they aren't in the UK unfortunately.

They are great on salads or just as a snack. You'd be surprised at how many spritzes of oil it takes to equal a teaspoon, at least I was.

If it weren't for your channel I would probably hate my Ninja Foodie 😂
Ranch flavoring!
Yes!

I wonder if you could cook these in a hay box? That would save a lot of energy!
I wonder how they would taste with dry ranch dressing. I expect delicious!
I think a dry ranch seasoning would be delicious!
I just tried the link for the recipe for these, and it’s coming up Not Found. The link for pressure cooking chickpeas works but this recipe doesn’t.
Do they call them corn nuts in the bag?
They are called chick peas, garbanzo beans or Cici besns
Corn nuts are made with hominy or corn kernels. They are a different shape and the sepal is visible at the narrow end.
Ceci in Italian.
Why cant you use the canned kind. I got 2 cans, dont care for them , so trying to figure out how to do something with them to make them palletable.
It's not that you can't use them, but they don't turn out as crunchy and flavorful in my opinion.
make hummus.

Goodness, can this women talk !!!!!!
Yes, yes, I can! LOL
That's a wee bit rude...I would rather listen to her pleasant voice talk than to have silence.
