The character models and the way they move remind me of farcry 3
If Anton just invited foreign labor in, or made conditions in the farms safer, then maybe his men wouldn't have to round up random peasant yahoos for his plantations. Heck, the first thing I'd do if I were him would be to sell Viviro to the USA. That way, I can count on Uncle Sam to back us up when shit hits the fan.

Also, genuine criminals exist within the prison system, probably mixed in with political prisoners. Use them, and have the media proclaim that it is them redeeming themselves.
Voila, you don't antagonise your own population nearly as bad, because it is the "bad guys" toiling for the country. Say they should be grateful for the opportunity and that the rebels want to free criminals.
But that would give nuance to the villain faction and we can't have that. Instead, they wear red (and white), shoot the red men.
Few things, America was sanctioning Yara for a long time because Yara, after the 67 revolution, was trying to become a communist country. That already made getting outside help nigh impossible and selling to the us would be disadvantageous because the us would have far too much control in demanding what (or even if) they would pay. Second, Anton was enslaved to work the fields after the 67 revolution so a very large part of the conditions was revenge and the second reason was that the slave labor and horrid safety standards cut a lot of the cost down and attracted foreign investors like McKay.
As a latinamerican person I can tell You, You can never count with Uncle Sam. The united states it's the reason why we had so many revolutions on the first place, the US goverment (not his peapole) made things worst every time they get involve...
(I'm no saying this to díss on american peapole, just that their goverment has always make latínamerican countrys life more dificult)

It would have been cool if we were given the option to side with the villain for once in a Far Cry game.

surprised Anton came out pretty good for a guy that had to listen to his dad be tortured and that he couldn't do a thing about it
why does ubisoft seem so intent on making their villains into stupid evil? they could have had him let them go and make the choice up ahead make more sense, to where it's truly the players choice to stay and fight

@@hamj297 dude when Hitler killed the Jews they lied to them to get them to them camps. The deception served as utility until they separated people into small groups.
Lying to a bunch of randoms on a boat that you plan on sinking anyway serves literally no purpose. The fact that he stepped onto the boat in the first place so he could have a cinematic villain moment is majorly inorganic writing. Why would a dictator step onto a random fishing vessel they suspect has a bunch of hidden people in it? What if they were armed?
No, he did it so the character can see how mean and stupid evil he is. Lame.

Once you’re on your 3rd or 4th playthrough it gets kinda boring. Also again I don’t hate the game I love it a lot but once you beat the story and all the side quest done it honestly isn’t all that fun feels like a grind. Or at least the fetch quest ones. No disrespect, I love this game, but you have to admit after a while you kinda get bored. Ngl lol
