I don't think there will ever be another piece of art like FF VII. I've played games all my life. The day FFVII arrived, it was as if we had jumped forward 100 years, compared to everything that came before. I don't see how that feeling can ever be recaptured. Just watching this summary brought tears to my eyes.
To recapture, replay ;) I finished revisiting this game on my vita 15years since I first played it. Loved every moment of the nostalgia. Started on FF8 on vita to relive all the nostalgia I have from that game. 8 was my first FF and probably my favourite. 7 is a definite close 2nd though :)

For the remake, will have to ask the boss for a 2 month vacation. The only difference back then and why I was able to play the entire FF7 game (prior to Zelda:Ocarina of Time) was because I was just a kid. Now I'm 30, full time corporate office job, kids, wife. I will still play it though, no matter what, but i'm not sure if the experience will be quite the same, or be quite as spectacular compared to the first time around. The level of detail in this video is unprecedented, it even makes me question my own conscious. 18 years ago, seems so long ago, but this video makes it feel disturbingly recent, as if I've traversed the very fabric of space and time itself, aka the lifestream.
azura13liss I'm worried about what they'll do to Cloud and Aerith. What made them great was that they had many facets to their personalities. I really hope the writers don't strip away all of their quirks and make them defined by one thing
+Outlaw8908 In their defense, tho? I could EASILY see FFVII getting remade and released, essentially, a "disc" at a time. Kind of like with FFVIII, the disc breaks were arranged at perfect moments of the story such that each "disc" kinda perfectly serves as a sort of "act" structure. I mean: Disc 1/Act 1: background, characters and setting get introduced, the Party meets up, the conflict begins, the characters are forced to set out on their journey, plans to stop the antagonist are set into motion, and the act ends with a stun to the audience and a set back for the Party. Disc 2/Act 2: The Party attempts to recover from the shock dealt at the end of the first Act, but is set back as Sephiroth "compromises" Cloud, mind controlling him and later putting him into a coma, forcing Tifa to stay behind and care for him. As she does, however, Cloud's past is revealed to not be as he claimed it to be, and in a natural disaster, both are flung thru a fissure into the now-exposed lifestream. The pair manage to escape -- fixing cloud's mental and physical medical issues in the process, and the conflict gears up for its final showdown. Disc 3/Act 3: Final preparations are made, and the Party faces off against the antagonist and their plans, defeating said antagonist and ultimately saving the planet's future with no time to spare, while leaving it (somewhat) ambiguous as to whether the Party is successful in not only stopping said antagonists plans, but also in stopping them with enough time left that nobody is killed in any ensuing disaster.
Don't worry it will be great that's why it's taking forever they don't want to fuck up such a classic and it will be like an escape from work back to the carefree days of childhood when all that mattered was what happened next in ff vii and when the hell is viii coming out lol
If you're passionate about something, you'll find the time. ;) There are always the weekends. I have no interest in the remake myself, but I hope you enjoy it when it comes out.
jermjerm610 The story is ridiculous. Some of the character motivations are nonsensical or completely missing and the drama feels like it's written by a 15 year old going through an identity crisis. Materia system is one of the worst blandest overrated progression systems created. It was overrated right from the start and deserves none of the hype. It actually proves that graphics seem to be everything as Final Fantasy III(VI) was a better game in every respect aside from graphics.
+Toveri JuriRight, and minecraft is such a realistic looking game.Your opinion is just that, it doesn't explain away the fact that every story before and after Shakespeare is the exact same story told with different toys. So what does it matter that the story is lacking a little.
wow you really deserve recognition for all the hard work you have done. it must have taken you soo much time to capture and put together all the in game footage. awesome video and an amazing job done!! keep up the great work!! :3
I keep coming back to this video...lol. I realize after watching this there were certain moments that made me love this game. Aerith's death was sad and all but that moment you find out Nanaki's dad defended Cosmo Canyon, or when Cloud finally figures out with Tifa what really happened 5 years ago or when you find out Sephiroth is after the black materia in the Temple of the Ancients and what he plans to do or when you find out Aerith's managed to pray for Holy but Sephiroth is holding it back.....those moments really made my heart just stop. I love this game, I could cry. ;_;
+Devon Lewis SO happened that when she discovered that they saw it all, she literally fell on the floor with embarassment (I hope the word is right)...
@@kaziashfaqulhuq8765 It's not necessary that all of those memories are from Zack, because Cloud was there himself. The memories were mixed up. And the memory of his mom calling him Cloud couldn't be Zack's memory. He was too ashamed to talk to Tifa as he failed on what he was trying to do to impress her, but he still took the chance to sneak in Tifa's room.
This has all the great parts of a perfect game. Excellent story, great characters that are well developed, and a complete game upon release. Graphics are good for the time but then focusing on gameplay and story rather than graphics makes for a better game imo.
RasenRendan the crazy thing is that the whole story is going to change because of the arbiters of fate and how are they manipulating time in another parallel universe where zack is still alive
I'm really glad that you waited this long to do this game. I'm sure this has been one of, if not the most, heavily requested game you've gotten to do a RECAPitation for. However, given just how huge this game is and was to the RPG scene, and what it was as a narrative, it would be a bit much to just give in and do it. You do amazing work, and I believe that waiting as long as you did truly helped make the experience that much more enjoyable. I'm sure that games like Dirge of Cerberus are possibly out of the question for RECAPitation, huh? I'd love to see you branch out into other RPGs that may not be as well known or remembered such as Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals, Legend of Dragoon, and heck even Mega Man X Command Mission (just to be really unique). Either way, my votes would go to Tales of Legendia and Chrono Trigger. Keep up the great work, Mr. Mage. You rule!
+AzarFirefly Thanks for the great suggestions! It's funny, FF7 ended up longer than I normally prefer for RECAPitations, but it couldn't be helped as a lot of the false exposition had to be covered, then deconstructed, and then the true history revealed, so it ended up almost 2 plotlines worth of content. I actually am working on Dirge of Cerberus right now, and its rather short so it won't be such a long wait for it. After that, FF6, and Type-0 are done, I'm considering Final Fantasy complete for now (Tactics and others can wait for now). Chrono Trigger is a definite Yes, Tales of Legendia was actually my first Tales game, so it has a place in my heart (the Tales series will not be overlooked), and I agree on doing some of the more overlooked RPGs, like Lufia 2, Skies of Arcadia, Grandia, Lost Odyssey, among others. Thanks for watching!
I... I did not see Dirge of Cerberus coming so soon. I would have thought after the large task of doing this, that you would have taken a break from the FF7 Mythos as a whole and move on to something else. Honestly, I'm glad that you are getting it out of the way, and moving on with other games, especially Type-0 as I've found that game to be quite enjoyable, but being part of the Fab...The Fabu Nova Crys....The 13 series thingy, I was not sure how in the world that truly could be... And then I remember that FF7 takes place 1000 years after the events of FFX as they are part of the same universe. Tales of Legendia was my first Tales game as well, and I'm so glad to hear that it has a place in your heart. Whatever the future may hold in your decisions, I know that even newcomers will love and want to try these games out for themselves.
+AzarFirefly Wait, how is FF7 part of the FFX universe!? Are you SERIOUSLY going off the name of the kid "Shinra"? Because in that case, FF XIII is connected to MANY MANY final fantasy. (See: Palamecia, Lindblum, etc. )
No, there was a thing a good while back where Square came out and stated that both FF7 and FFX are the same universe, though (I believe it was this order) FFX is like a thousand or so years ahead of FF7.
Square Enix employees should watch this video every day the moment they get to the office to work on the remake. I so hope they don't fuck this one up.
this story blends a political story with emotional character development so well it remains in the minds of millions of us to this day. it is indeed among the best written stories in gaming history. forgiving typos obviously lol
FF7 is one of the greatest stories ever told. But as with so many other stories I didn't like the actual ending and very much secretly hope that it will vastly differ in the remake.
As someone who's played through the game many times the recap is really emotionally dense and is just such an emotional rollercoster. At the same time I enjoy calling out what's happening next and hearing the story retold once more.
This is a very good alternative to replaying my favorite installments in the series :D And I get to refresh my memory of the adventure all under one hour!
Over 20 years later, Final Fantasy VII is now being ported to the Nintendo Switch. This is so much more important than many give credit for, as this was the game that caused Square to leave Nintendo for Sony. Ironically, it's now on the first Nintendo console since the N64 to use cartridges, which is why Square left.
I have beaten this game so many times as a child and never understood the real story until I saw this video. Thank you so much for clarifying the events. This game has such a rich and absolutely great storyline in all of the final fantasy series. Thanks for the video.
dude excellent recap. my favorite game ever made this was a delight to watch. and yes you played the music right on cue I love the music. thank you for the video I will subscribe.
Thanks a lot for this. I watched one LP of this game before but that player didn't fully explore all there is to the story. This recap really helps me find all the missing links.
I will never understand why people like Sephiroth so much. He goes from a calm and collected warrior to a genocidal maniac with a god complex in the span of a few days. i always chop it up to the Jenova cells, but its not a canon explanation...
Indoctrination. A lot like Saren from Mass Effect, a being far older, far greater, than Sephiroth and was part of him from birth slowly degraded his mind and his motives for its own benefit. Jenova infects, Reunites, and then rides the husk of the world left behind in its wake to the next world it encounters. It's why Sephiroth went from "Hero of the Wutai Wars" and a collected and strong mentor figure to a man declaring war on humans, to a man seeking eternal power, and finally becoming a monstrous and inhuman form, the same thing that happened to the Cetra when they were also infected with Jenova's cells. There's a lot more I could say, but it would make for a very long comment. XD Let's just say, I have been doing research on this topic for months since the remake was announced because I still believe the main villain in the story is Jenova, not Sephiroth.
@@SupremeEmperorRei thats absolutely true. A part of me wonders if theyll save sephiroth and aerith somehow cuz nomura bullshit. This game was perfect as it was imo. Remake is still coolish though. The polish is insane.
Damn, now i know all the fuss about this game. Its appreciative and character depth is what made the game. I like the story and quirky elements. Hope the remake leaves all these quirks as that what gives the game the personality. Hope it comes out on PC!
"After hearing Barrets sad story about personal loss, the party immediately boards a train to the Golden Saucer, a theme park and casino." Hahha I didn't bat an eye to this as a kid but looking back on that now. That's funny.
Dang, there were so much info packed up that I didn't feel like 49 minutes had passed. I was staring at the screen the whole time, mesmerized and desperately trying to process all that information.
The story is so good that in this speed you might actually have trouble understanding all the complex things that are happening.. like really understanding it.. I recommend to set the speed of the video to .75
Man this video is incredible. I've completed FF7 more times than I can remember and I've still learnt so much and filled in some story holes I didn't quite understand. I don't think I've even ever seen Zack and Cloud scene on the truck before. Great video dude. Thanks for putting it together.
So great to come back and reminisce on the greatest game I have ever played in my childhood. No other story compared to it. I still remember finally getting the gold chocobo and obtaining the knights of the round table summon from the mountain. Countless hours beating every single part of the game.
Best game of all time... It's been at least 12 years since I last played it but every time it resurfaces in my memory I try to find some content to watch or listen to. Great job.
It was good but it was flawed. I can't call it a masterpiece. I feel 6 is much better but only by nature of it being a mature game on the systems late life
Ekky Arya Understand one critical fact about Hijo and Shinra: they don't give a fuck. About anything. These are the same people who found a 2000 year old mummy in a cave and said "let's inject it into ourselves." This is the same guy that impregnated Vincent's love and injected the fetus with alien DNA. And when Vincent had a problem with it, Hojo turned him into an immortal vampire. One must wonder if Hojo has a PhD or if he's just a guy who owns a lab coat.
It's clear that you put a lot of careful, quick words to make the point. As someone who has studied the Lore, I look towards this video to be reminded of it. Thank you, Oni Black Mage. Thank you.
Amazing how the fandom completely misunderstand the Cloud/Aerith relationship. Always made me sad because their bond is a decent part of the story. Sigh... So, no, Cloud doesn't "think he's Zack" (just borrowed the mannerisms, confidence and his first class soldier point of view... and of course, the sword). He doesn't have Zack's memories of dating Aerith, for one thing. He liked Aerith because he simply did. And Aerith came to go past the Zack similitaries and genuinely fell for Cloud (look no further than Case of Lifestream by Nojima for confirmation that Aerith's romantic affection lies with Cloud... he's called her "beloved"/"lover" in it). This relationship is meant to represent the connection between love, life and death (the original FF7 commercial was kind of spoilery about this). This is a theme that was dear to Sakaguchi after he lost his mother. He wanted to portray what it is like to lose someone you love unexpectedly and how you deal with it (regrets you may have, etc)... But also that death isn't the end of hope. Isn't the end of existence or love either. It' pretty inspiring but it goes over so many people's head because the fandom majorly decided only Cloud/Tifa and Zack/Aerith mattered/were true. Then again, the Cloud/Tifa relationship can be majorly misunderstood too. *Spoilers :* Cloud's best partner was Aerith. She dies and he has to deal with it. Tifa is the one he first wanted and got in the end (unless we consider the original ending where Cloud and everyone die and reunite with Aerith.... I've read in an ultimania that Cait Sith's affinity prediction for Cloud and Aerith actually carried some kind of hope... maybe it has to do with this ending)... but she's also someone he doesn't have a natural affinity with. Nojima explained it himself while talking about Case of Tifa (novella), Cloud and Tifa are inherently incompatible, which makes their relationship a flawed/rocky one from the start. And it can be interesting in itself. It's another side of love in life (always felt like one of Cloud and Tifa's uniting factors was their feelings of loneliness... and being survivors of Nibelheim... the only ones they know of). A lot of relationships in FF7 were flawed (Cid/Shera anyone ? or the whole Vincent/Lucrecia/Hojo thing... unhealthy as hell... no matter what angle you prefer to view this other "love triangle"... also, as sweet as Zack and Aerith seemed to be, Zack was still openly flirting with other women... which hurt Aerith... and would hurt most young girls in her shoes).
@@RadicalDreamer17 and who is the other woman you talking about? Someone clearly didn't do any research of Crisis Core, left alone playing it. By the end of Advent Children, Aerith and Zack were finally reunited in lifestream. Shipping Cloud with Aerith is just dumb.
Summer 2004 was the first time I ever played FF VII and it was my first FF, I was completely obsessed with it for like 3 years. I'd you would have told 13 year old me that in 20 years we'd have part 2 of a remake trilogy in the Playstation V... I would have lost my shit 😂
I think its the 3rd video about recaption of ff7 i watched today. All great full of details. I had played this countless of times and im still comming back on every platform possible. I dream that some day someone will make it to epic tv series with quality of witcher/game of thrones so more ppl could enjoy epicness of its story.
Hey man, you have done some amazing videos hitting on some many great details. With the FF7 remake out now, I was watching all your other FF7 videos (before Crisis, Crisis Core, and Dierge of Cerberus) and so many of key elements from those games have been incorporated into the FF7 remake. To cut a long story short, A) when will the FF7 remake video come out, B) will you ever do a breakdown of the remake pointing out some of the things they added from the previously mentioned games, and C) what are your thoughts of how the new FF7 will go moving forward plot wise thanks to so many of the elements/ Easter eggs?
After watching and listening to this entire video, I somehow feel ... Smarter. All the knowledge that one takes in while watching this video is immense.
So in FF7 on PS1, Sephiroth said that the Cetra migrate from planet to planet, and supposedly people are saying its probably a bad translation from Japan. What if it isnt? If Cetra colonize planets, and then migrate to others, and then Jenova does the exact same thing but instead of caring for planets, Jenova destroys them, then it must make Jenova an evil Cetra. When Jenova landed 2000 years prior to FF7, she knew how to fuck with them mentally so she had to have prior knowledge of the Cetra. Basically, Jenova is following the good Cetra from planet to planet and destroying the planets they previously inhabited. That explains also, why Sephiroth was hell bent on killing Aerith, knowing she is the last one. Also, i dont think Shinra would mistakenly consider Jenova as a Cetra especially when before they found Jenova, they had Aerith and her mother in captivity. Aerith escaped, but her mother didnt, so Shinra most likely studied her extensively. When they found Jenova, they were probably correct when they mentioned her as a Cetra.
Watching this effects me in a way that no other person would be effected. It is weird. It makes me think. It makes me question. Connecting to the writers and the game content. How some things relate to IRL and such. Ty for the refresher. This was and still is the greatest FF game ever. Cheers.
What else can I say about this series? You helped me understand the Jenova theory, not thinking what it does to Aerith. The research purposes line kills me, even doing that for the remake. Can you do a Life is Strange recap? Thank you for all you do. It helps me with work, sleep, and relaxation. Great storytelling, and there needs to be more acknowledgement for what you do.
Don't have too high expectations of the remake... I'm afraid we'll be terribly disappointed... But we'll see... They've said that will change quite many things so it will probably not be very similar to the original at all when it comes to gameplay...
The remake is gonna be trash. Square lost touch with their fans a long time ago. They think we all want remakes and to fund kickstarters instead of new games (Final Fantasy 16 and Kingdom Hearts 3) How much longer is KH3 gonna get pushed back? PS5? Keep the FF7 remake. Can always play the original.
Thank you for using the Celtic pronunciation "Kett-Shee" for Cait Sith. I was more than a bit narked to find that Square Enix US chose to use the lazy-azz pronunciation "Kate Sihth." I'm of Celtic-Euro heritage and love the Mythology of the Cait Sith/Cát Sith/Sidhe. The name means "Cat of the Fairies." On a separate note, it was revealed in subsequent material that Corneo survived the fall, but he is now badly crippled.
I subscribe and turn off adblock for you, sir. Nicely done. It's like watching a friend play through the games, but I can work while listening to your channel.

Even though I've played FFVII a dozen times I watched this because your videos are very good and actually there was something you said here that I never caught before. "When a soul seeking Holy reaches the Lifestream" indicates Aerith praying for Holy would never have worked if she lived. And that being the case, I wondered if she knew this all along.

azura13liss I'm worried about what they'll do to Cloud and Aerith. What made them great was that they had many facets to their personalities. I really hope the writers don't strip away all of their quirks and make them defined by one thing
azura13liss I hope they do not stick to that episodic parts idea. I would rather they take their time and release a whole game.
I mean:
Disc 1/Act 1: background, characters and setting get introduced, the Party meets up, the conflict begins, the characters are forced to set out on their journey, plans to stop the antagonist are set into motion, and the act ends with a stun to the audience and a set back for the Party.
If you're passionate about something, you'll find the time. ;)
There are always the weekends.
I have no interest in the remake myself, but I hope you enjoy it when it comes out.
The OST on the background makes this so great, feels like im reliving the game while you describe it.
Absolute proof that graphics aren't everything.
thats true, but you have to remember that back in the day, ff7s graphics where considered to be the top notch 1080p graphics that we see now.
Absolute proof that FF7 is overrated.
thats true (no it deserves the hype)) but you have to remember that back in the day ff7 was considered to be the top notch ff15 game that we see now.
jermjerm610
The story is ridiculous.
So what does it matter that the story is lacking a little.
the story in this game is so deep! so many levels to it:) let's not compare r hate just enjoy the greatness!
wow you really deserve recognition for all the hard work you have done. it must have taken you soo much time to capture and put together all the in game footage. awesome video and an amazing job done!! keep up the great work!! :3
"They rescue a dolphin." i couldn't stop laughing after that part
I keep coming back to this video...lol. I realize after watching this there were certain moments that made me love this game. Aerith's death was sad and all but that moment you find out Nanaki's dad defended Cosmo Canyon, or when Cloud finally figures out with Tifa what really happened 5 years ago or when you find out Sephiroth is after the black materia in the Temple of the Ancients and what he plans to do or when you find out Aerith's managed to pray for Holy but Sephiroth is holding it back.....those moments really made my heart just stop. I love this game, I could cry. ;_;
every time i hear the opening theme, re-hear the story, and watch the ending... the feels inside me swell up even to this day.
who is watching this after playing the final fantasy 7 remake?
Makes me understand why changes were made because damn this plot is a slog XD. Still great but Damn
But didn’t you just spoil the rest of the story for yourself? lol
andreee123123 nope the ending of ff7r makes it clear that the other two parts of the game will be different than the original.
@@EdElric15652000 No, Nomura specifically stated in an interview it will still follow the core beats of the original with some changes.
He said that about the game just released.
The whole of Chapter 18 was about changing destiny.

...So am I the only one who thinks Cloud and Tifa smashed?
It totally happened xD
+Devon Lewis SO happened that when she discovered that they saw it all, she literally fell on the floor with embarassment (I hope the word is right)...
+Devon Lewis According to the higher-ups of FF VII production team, they did have sex, so... yeah. Cloud/Tifa is the true bonafide canon pairing.
+-discontinued-
Well, they might not live past the next day. So might as well make the most of what time they have, right?
+Shamus TheKnight Even so, Cloud seems too stoic to have sex on his mind at a time like that.
outstanding recap. my whole childhood in 50 minutes
12:37 cloud steals tifas underwear
Superpower Dragon Lol. I got nothing on that.
VERY important to the plot
clearly he was boning her...?
But like if all the memories Cloud has from that flashback are actually Zack's memories, was it Zack who stole TIfa's underwear? :/
@@kaziashfaqulhuq8765
It's not necessary that all of those memories are from Zack, because Cloud was there himself.
I think the graphics look amazing
The remake only covers the first 11:45 minutes of this video and that's just STORY details. This is gonna be crazy when we get the other parts man.
RasenRendan the crazy thing is that the whole story is going to change because of the arbiters of fate and how are they manipulating time in another parallel universe where zack is still alive
@@broski4u214 I KNOW RIGHT!! I'm so excited to see what Square Enix has in store for us!

On of the best stories in a game I have ever played, can't wait for the remake.
fantastic video, thanks for the hard work and effort
It for sure is a great video explaining the story of FF7 aye?
best recap on RUclips. You managed to put the iconic ff7 music so coherently along with your story telling.
AzarFirefly
FF X is a thousand years ahead of 7? As in Spira or Tidus's Zanarkhand?
(Note: i dont much about FF X's mythos)
You're an absolute master doing these videos, nobody explains the games as good as this
Square Enix employees should watch this video every day the moment they get to the office to work on the remake. I so hope they don't fuck this one up.

this story blends a political story with emotional character development so well it remains in the minds of millions of us to this day. it is indeed among the best written stories in gaming history. forgiving typos obviously lol
Who else came here after the Remake was released?
Edit: WOW! thanks for the likes.
FF7 is one of the greatest stories ever told. But as with so many other stories I didn't like the actual ending and very much secretly hope that it will vastly differ in the remake.
This guy are sick.
solaire of astora it’s a joke. In one scene, Aireth incorrectly states ‘this guy are sick’ in the English version of the game early on in the story.
Yes he are
As someone who's played through the game many times the recap is really emotionally dense and is just such an emotional rollercoster. At the same time I enjoy calling out what's happening next and hearing the story retold once more.
This is a very good alternative to replaying my favorite installments in the series :D And I get to refresh my memory of the adventure all under one hour!
Absolutely brilliant work. Well done. Still one of my favourite stories of all time.
Amazing recap! It was very thorough and well done. :D
25 years later... and that scene still gets to me.
This is the movie I had expected in 2001; and not "The Spirits Within."
The reason i love this channel is cause it always give accurate details *always* even how much the game have sold in the end !!!!
Damn, now i know all the fuss about this game. Its appreciative and character depth is what made the game. I like the story and quirky elements. Hope the remake leaves all these quirks as that what gives the game the personality. Hope it comes out on PC!
Wow, this is so well edited and voiced, it's such a shame the views aren't that high (yet). Excellent work.

Great job.
No other Final Fantasy before or since has achieved this level of storytelling. Using the word "masterpiece" to describe FF7 is no stretch at all.
It was good but it was flawed. I can't call it a masterpiece. I feel 6 is much better but only by nature of it being a mature game on the systems late life
@@luciferfaust I loved 6 as well and in many ways I really miss those snes days.

@Scott M Well in the end Zack hogs Aerith in the lifestream. Happy ending.
I've played the game a ton of times and you helped me realize stuff about the story that I didn't know. Well done
Hojo wants to breed RedXIII with Aerith? that's fucked up..
One must wonder if Hojo has a PhD or if he's just a guy who owns a lab coat.
elevate07 Both probably, Hojo is the example of a madman scientist who is a real dick.
Honestly, Hojo isn't that different than the real life nazi Dr. Mengele
It's clear that you put a lot of careful, quick words to make the point. As someone who has studied the Lore, I look towards this video to be reminded of it. Thank you, Oni Black Mage.
Thank you.
Cloud, dude, get with Tifa, not Aerith
Think that's the point though.

RadicalDreamer17 I entirely forgot about the Vincent love triangle and I wouldn't say Tifa and Cloud were incompatible even in the beginning.
I seem to recall someone calling Cait Sith, "Kate" in Dirge of Cerberus. It has been years though.

You absolutely did a great job telling this story
Cheers.
This was my favorite game of all time until I played Chrono Trigger. Please do a recap from Chrono Trigger.

They think we all want remakes and to fund kickstarters instead of new games (Final Fantasy 16 and Kingdom Hearts 3)
How much longer is KH3 gonna get pushed back?

The name means "Cat of the Fairies."
On a separate note, it was revealed in subsequent material that Corneo survived the fall, but he is now badly crippled.

I'm confused, I played a lot of FF7 back in the day and I could've sworn her name was Aeris, not "Aerith"
It was... But it wasn't. The original name has always been Aerith, but due to localization it was changed to Aeris in the NA version.
