I have a bath similar to this one but cheaper. The problem I had the first 2-3 weeks was getting it cold enough. 13 degrees was what I had it at but I wasn't using as much ice as I could. Now that winter is setting in (temps are at -8C right now), I take out about 3 buckets of water from it and leave it outside overnight. I've gotten the water down to 8-9 degrees and it is really cold. I stay in for 10 minutes and my hands and toes are numb. I love it!
That's a good tip to take some water out and keep it outside overnight, thanks for sharing! Currently, mine is in the outbuilding and around 11-12⁰c with no ice added.
Hi thanks for the great question, I can only talk from experience. Currently my tub is 5⁰c/41⁰F it is sat in the outbuilding attached to my house and the temperature here outside ranges from 3⁰c to 7⁰c so in terms of being cheap and easy. Put it outside somewhere sheltered. In the summer I used ice blocks that I refroze each night, the temperature would drop maybe 1-2⁰c from doing that. No where near the 50⁰F you are after. It may be worth looking at getting a chiller unit or making one. There are quite a few video reviews and DIY chillers on RUclips. Hope that helps, thanks for watching.
Great video mate, bought one of these a few weeks back myself. The 'pillow' through me for a loop, not sure why one was necessary. Only thing I could think is that it acts as a make shift 'ice pack' so filling it with water and freeze it overnight before using it to cool the water. That's the only useful thing I could think it provides aha. Keep it up mate!
The pillow is as useful as a chocolate teapot as the valve isn't one way. As soon as you inflate it deflates instantly! Good idea using as an ice pack instead
I replaced the water in my tub yesterday, put a bit too much in (realised this as I sat down) and found the pillow came in handy to keep my body that bit higher so the water didn't over flow. I'll just empty a bit of the water out before my next plunge.
@@GarageBuiltAthlete once I found the correct water level i stuck piece of duct tape to the inside at the level to act a guide for future fills. Tape lasts a few weeks before you can replace.

@@GarageBuiltAthlete thank you for your quick reply. I ordered on Wednesday but read a few bad reviews of not receiving so had a bit of a panic it wasn’t legitimate. Fingers crossed it will be delivered soon 👍🏻
@@Kim-s4w fingers crossed you'll get it soon, I had to contact EVRI directly when mine didn't arrive in the expected time, they got on it and it was delivered a day or two later. If you have any more questions when you start using it let me know I'll be glad to help 👍

Great honest video. There are so many marketing style reviews but they lack the honesty of your video.
Thanks for watching and I appreciate the feedback, I hope you stick around for more 🤝

Thanks for watching. The pillow would definitely be a good ice pack! Take a while to freeze though! Especially in this weather 🌡️🔥
