Dr Joseph Nemeth is a Periodontist in Southfield, MI.
In this video he is discussing the amazing cases of bone regeneration from the LANAP treatment. The Laser Gum Treatment can often times cause bone growth or reverse bone loss in the mouth.
Dr Nemeth has done countless laser gum surgeries and has helped save loose teeth that would have otherwise been lost to gum disease.
Gum disease is the number one cause of tooth loss, however with LANAP many of these teeth can be saved and the bone grows back!

Thanks a lot, Dr. Joseph R Nemeth. Yesterday I have done LANAP (I believe that it is the protocol by Millennium) for one of my teeth. It took about 1 hour (few min anesthetic; few min laser ; 20 min ultrasound cleaning; few min laser). After that I took amoxicillin and Advil although I didn't feel any pain. Please do a video on your take on Periostat. Did any of these patients take Periostat during the whole 1 to 2 years? Does it help with bone growth? Are there better chances of bone regrowing taking it? Is it true that it keeps the immune system from sending destructive enzymes preventing bone regrowth or destroying the bone itself? You show repeated times such examples of bone recreation after infection removal. Does such new growing bone build an fibre holding apparatus between bone and tooth ? After larger investigations I realized, that dentists avoid to recreate bone around living teeth. This could be done beside implant preparations, where the empty gap is build up with PRF-concrete. But this bone build up could be expanded to living teeth beside the gap with long free roots in one operation action. But it is not commen (or possible?) doing so. Either it is not possible because of biological reasons, or dentist avoid the additional work to recreate the alveolar pocket around living teeth when an "alveolar pocket" for the implant is made. With pure recession treatement the same problem appers. Any bone crafting to recreate the alveolar pocket is fairly uncommon in dentistry. Only some soft tissue lifting / transplantation is done normally. An implant don't need an fibre holding skin between bone and implantroot. A natural teeth needs it. I am searching for any documentation of bone recreation around living teeth. This would realize a full fledged recession treatment and an complete rebuild of alveolar bone after treated periodontis or age paradontose (non infectious loss of bone as aging problem). Perhaps You can produce more video documentation about this theme.
