It’s shame for Matin to connect religion to this topic while Islam isn’t just one viewpoint about lgbt. The story of ppl of Lot is still under refutation and the verses are unclear when comes to lgbt. He arguments oodles with non-grata, baseless claims.

Matin keeps pulling out straw-man arguments to prove his points, such as saying that queer people “disagree” with the fundamental biology that men and women are needed for reproduction.
The existence or queer people does not negate the existence of cisgendered heterosexual people.
Marriage is a legal necessity for accessing many services as-is, which is why many LGBTQIA+ people are still fighting for it.
The points about religion are moot in a secular society & at worse have been used to suppress more than just sexual minorities in many countries.
His entire argument over adoption was misogynistic and fails at the slightest probing. What of divorced parents or widows?

Research shows that kids raised by same-sex couples do just as well as kids from straight families. What really matters is love and support, not the gender of the parents. In a time where accidental parenthood is so prevalent, it's imperative to champion those who genuinely desire to raise children, such as many within the LGBT community.

Don't justify your stand with the Adam and Eve story. It's just a myth or a belief. Also, don't presume that all gay relationships involve anal intercourse. Many gay ppl long for a loving companionship, even a platonic one. Love transcends sexuality!

the way matin just.. bulldozed into.. things that well.. logical fallacies.. but the way andrea was calm enough to.. ok, wait, let wait this one out and get matin around. andrea, i hope you get that family you wish for. the kids and everything.
It's unfortunate that LGBT issues often meet with obstacles and rejections by the main stream. I choose to believe anyone out there would not want to be trapped in a wrong sexual identity body. Like what Andrea has clearly explained , she felt trapped in a man's body. Mentally and emotionally she relates to and identifies as a woman. What is wrong with that ? She should also be given an equal chance to live like a woman. ( To go through all those ops and physical change takes a lot in her to do that. And for that I respect her choice and i respect her as a Trans. Let's not make it any more challenging. Hextrosexual are also humans. They are not perfect too. Broken familes , child abuse and the list goes on. If LGBT were to take the steps to adopt kids or have their own , I am sure they will give their best to the child. Everything is a gamble , Lets bet on it. As for Matin , his views tend to be skewed towards his belief system. I respect that. All I ask of him to be more sympathetic and compassionate . When there is love , we make this world a better place for All.

I am part of the LGBTQ community but we don't need to know each story. In the Muslim countries there is no issue with this.
There was no such thing as born into a wrong body.
Then how do you belong to the LGBTQ community ( as mentioned above on your post ? ) . It could be physical , it could be mental or it could just be a preference . That makes you different . OK Cool. Just make sure we accept everyone as long as there is no hatred , no violence and no intimidations.

The freedom of speech is not about blabbing everything and anything . Then we will be encouraging lots of chaos , hate and violence. WE must be cordial , no hate and no intimidation. You want your rights , he / she wants her rights , then who is left ??
