Song and performance of the year imo. And these Candlelight Sessions bound to go down in rock-n-roll history... Beautiful and epic all at the same time.
Amazing self taught musicians. The Battle at Gardens Gate was recorded entirely live, except for one song I think they said, as they wanted the listener to feel as though they are at a live show.
They absolutely have a big zapplin arosmith and queen feel to them but also at the same time very original and unique which is what makes them a great band with huge potential
U should listen to their concert at red rocks, absolutely unbelievable!
GVF has found the right balance between a nostalgic sound and the new fresh vibes. Quite unique and enjoyable to listen to. Looking forward to their future albums, I'm sure they will sound amazing.

No band has affected my life like Greta Van Fleet. I met the love of my life about 2 years ago just in a Greta Van Fleet group chat lol. I've been with them since 2017 when they dropped their first EP. I was about 15 then, and they really influenced my musical development and expression over the years. I have no idea how to thank this amazing band for all the gifts they've given me. It's actually insane. My girl got me a broken bells limited edition shirt recently and it's so fucking cool. It's crazy how powerful music is.
And this is why we need bands like this right now. Rock unites.
I have had some low times, really low. GVF's music has saved my life. Literally.

That is EXACTLY what we're talkin' about! Yes, great reaction. This is my favorite GVF guitar solo. So amazing! Just saw them live in Los Angeles. Seriously, between Jake and Danny, they really stole the show with their endless incredible solos.

There is so much more you can check out that they do. They have this soft side, but they have their really rockin side too. You should see some more actual live shows like at Red Rocks, there are 4 videos, last one the encore. The new album check out "Built by Nations", "Weight of Dreams", "Caravel", etc. Old albums check out the song that rocked them "Highway Tune", and "Edge of Darkness", "Lover, Leaver, Taker, Believer", "Safari Song", "Your the One", just to name a few. My recommendation is WAY more of them, they're so good, but also a band called "Dirty Honey" is also kickass in the classic rock department

They do have a couple of songs where he sounds like Plant. That's a friggin honour..
I was mixed on them in their earlier albums. But this newest album is a masterpiece. A great combination of radio friendly songs and more complex stuff. None of them are really the most technical musicians (when compared to progressive bands I listen to) but together, they put it amazing music that anyone can digest. Sometimes it’s not about the number of notes someone can play but how well the notes you play sound.
They are fairly technical

As a fan I personally don't mind the Zeppelin compassions 🤷♀️ as long as their positive of course. They were influenced by the same bands as Zeppelin, so it's no wonder they have similarities. Though every band has their own style and identity.

No! Make fun all you want, people are idiots that want to find anything they can to discredit this band already. He's allowed to make all the tributes he wants, its better than not having this today in our current age.
It's not really the comparison to LZ, but it's the lack of research that goes into GVF. People assume he is trying to sound like Robert Plant. In reality, it's his anatomy & training that allows him to sing so well. Josh's hero is the late John Denver, not RP. No dis, just facts.
