These guys started getting their musical education as toddlers! Their parents had a huge vinyl collection from all genres. Folk, blues, jazz, etc. Jake took to the guitar as a child. Josh played piano and drums, Sammy played bass and keys and Danny played guitar and switched to drums. They're multitalented and bring a riff or idea to the others - then work on a song from that seed. Josh does most of the lyrics, but they all contribute. They're from a tiny town in Michigan, where the identical twins - Josh and Jake were HELLIONS in Josh's words from a recent interview. They're beautiful souls who love their "Peaceful Army" - which is what we call ourselves and they weave into their lyrics. Watch a few interviews theyve done lately. They're so kind, intelligent and funny. Their parents raised them right! Sorry for the novel, but I could go on and on even more! 🙄😎😂
GVF has some devoted fanbase, so if you keep those videos coming, I'm sure your algorithm will get better😁 You've picked the two slowest songs on the album, definitely check more rocky songs to see what else they've got, like Age of machine, Built by nations or Weight of dreams. Subscribed!
Just saw them in concert a week or so ago. I'm 71 years old and have been to a lot of concerts. Their concert was by far one of the best I've ever seen. I've listening to every song they've ever made and there's not a bad one
Saw them in Dublin Ireland in Olympia Theatre on last tour....small venue...big sound!... Probably the best live act you will see..absolutely incredible..my advice ..go see them LIVE!
If you listen to GVF songs in chronological order you will see how amazingly they have grown. The first two Albums are more old school rock and now The Battle at Gardens Gate is so different! Great reaction! If you react to more GVF you will get subscribers from their fans like me! My first time seeing them will be in August and I am stoked.
Thanks for your reaction to this song! GVF on this album has woven a tapestry of stellar musicianship, soaring vocals (Josh has an OVER 2 1/2 octave vocal range) and ethereal songwriting! I hope you react to Built By Nations - a ROCKER and Broken Bells, which is another Candlelight Session! These guys have it all!! ☮️😎
Great reaction. Now you are about to go down the rabbit hole of GVF music. Once you start looking at live performances you will be hooked. Check out the Red Rocks videos. If you really like this one, they have another song "Broken Bells" live Candlelight session that you will enjoy. There are so many songs to hear there fantastic talent. Keep reacting!!!
Great reactions! But the 3 songs you’ve reacted to are their more slower songs. I’d love to see a reaction of Stardust Chords, Barbarians, or Built by Nations (more of the rockier songs). Seen them live twice so far, best concert of my life.
Great reactions man, they are definitely great, so far you have reacted to the 2 ballads and 1 of the best songs on the album (Broken Bells), so you only have 9 remaining, looking forward to see your reactions on those as well (:
Saw them 5 months ago and it was unbelievable! I highly recommend seeing anything from RedRocks. New album coming out soon! They are all self taught on their instruments and play multiple ones. Best band that’s been around for a long time and I’m an elder!!
They’re getting the same reaction that Kate Bush got. She came out the gate screeching and people either loved or hated it. I’ve been getting the same vibe from them as I do her yet I never see anyone mention her at all when it comes to them. Their styles aren’t the same but just the way he approaches singing is the same way she did when she first started out and it’s getting the exact same division. She didn’t care and kept doing her own thing and it seems like GVF is ignoring the criticism and continuing trucking along too.
Gretaa Van Fleet are at the same time a great band to do reactions to AND a terrible band to do reactions to. On one hand, the initial listens to their songs can reap some amazing emotions. On the other hand, you have to try your hardest to not binge all their music, so that you can have real initial reactions on video, lol.

It's like they have created a new world. So refreshing... I can't wait to see them live!
That was their intention according to their interviews.
Really showcasing Josh's vocals in this and Broken Bells. Brings me to tears.
Same every time!
Ridiculous chills up n down my legs Every time

Awesome musicians. Great entertainers Age of Man live is incredible. They don’t have a bad song. Superstars
They are definitely getting better at thier craft.

Please listen to Stardust Chords from their newest albums, it was a spiritual experience for me.

Special. Yes indeed.
Definitely outstanding LIVE! Grab a ticket and go see them! I will be going to my third GVF concert this time in Seattle WA August 4th, 2023
Broken Bells Candlelight is the best of the three, it has to be up next!

Now react to Broken Bells from Candelight Sessions, another amazing performance💥👌
I love all their stuff and on a side note, I love the shot of Jake sitting while playing. Actually sexy.
Love GVF!!!

You mention Barry Lindon .. Josh is a big fan of Kubrick,, he said two of his favorIte movies are 2001: A Space Odyssey, Clockwork Orange...
Every album is solid. So we are gonna get 10 to 15 albums if history has any bearing on thier longevity.
Him: *looses bodily function*
Me: SAME
Josh rides on his bodyguard's shoulders and throws lots and lots of white roses to the audience! Before shows.

Please listen Tamta xuxunaishvili's song/Sichume❤️❤️👌👍🏻
React to rap game of reza pishro
Youll be confuse of hes rhyme and flow🔥
No Robert Plant in that voice. He couldn't hit that stratosphere. Time for comparisons to stop.
These aren't even the best songs on the album haha. There's about 4 or 5 that are better (some have lives already).
