Recently tried this on my Christmas soaps. Really fun to work with Soap dough! I used soap dough and colored it with mica like she showed in the beginning!
This is great. Im making fancy soap for my daughters new store…..how long does the design on the soap last when being used everyday. It’s like the mica…it comes off with the lather. I once mixed too much black mica in a soap and got black lather. Can’t sell that. I love your stencils…I would love them even more if it last on the soap for awhile.
I would suggest if you want a stencil-like design to stay, try stamping and filling the space with soap dough. I like that process for the duration of the design. Both processes I like for the details achieved. So many choices! Thank you for watching my dear!
Hi Kim! I don't know, as I have not done that AND it's a clever idea. I think the stencils could be utilized for that, they are definitely durable enough. I'd love to know if you do, how it turns out.
@@sorcerysoap Thanks for your reply. I wet felt on my soap and I think your stencils might work. I also love the soap dough. I looked at your shop earlier, but some of the ones I wanted were out of stock. I sell my soap at a museum and I am always looking for new ideas! You are a true artisan!
So cool! You are always thinking! Your attention to detail always astounds me, I bet you don't sleep from the creative juices flowing. I'm that way myself. If I get a single idea in my head, I can't sleep till I execute it. I guess it's my old age! Jill Gross
That's a great question and I would say yes, you can. The theory is still the same. I've stenciled a year cured bar which was hard as a rock. If you do, Adam would you bring that information back and share it?
Hi, I'm a fairly new soaper and stumbled upon your fb page, and let me say you give the art of soaping a whole new perspective! You can tell how passionate you are about what you do as it reflects in your tedious and careful steps working with soap dough and the beautiful final product. You mentioned you enjoy reading all comments(even negative Nancy's,lol!), so I just wanted to say THANK YOU for making these videos, and your FB pages, I plan to watch all to fully understand this type of soap sorcery in soap dough!! I'm sure I won't be near as good as you, but definitely plan to give it a whirl!! I'll DEFINITELY be ordering soon!!! Again, thank you for sharing your talent and product, not many are so willing to 'share', or 'help' so I applaud your generosity as well! I may need a magic wand to assist, lol!🪄💫 ✨ Blessed be~a fellow soaping witch 🧙♀️ 🔮🪄💗🧼

Wow you do have a chicken rooster! I need that.
Awesome! Can’t wait until they are available.. Thanks for sharing your talents!
Another great idea... I bought some stencils a few weeks ago for bath bombs and never thought to use them for soap
Does the soap need to be fully cured before applying the stencil? Or have you found you can stencil to fresher soap as well?
I have stenciled on freshly cut and soaps that have cured for a year. Both work well. :)

@@sorcerysoap sure will
This is wonderful! I cannot get the soap dough to stick to my soap- I lift the stencil and the dough is still on it. Any suggestions?
I do, make a thinner layer and release slowly to watch where it's sticking. :)
Grace, These are awesome!! Could I request a stencil. I.e. I have been looking for a loon forever.
Grace?
so cool would love to have some stencils never done these before where do you get them please and thank you so much for sharing
