- This is a quick tutorial for soap stenciling. I got the idea from watching an acrylic paint pouring video where they stenciled over a painting they did not like. This has probably already been done before, so this was just a fun creative expression to test out in soap.

Abstract is a great way to design and add character.
Absolutely!
These stencils give the soap an embossed like feature. Beautiful

Thank you!
Beautiful. How creative. Have you used a bar yet? If so, does the pattern stay on or wash right off?
I'm waiting for the soap dough to cure just a bit before using, but it will last for a few washes before it ends up wearing away.
Lovely! Thank you for sharing :)
Thanks, and you're very welcome.
I make cold process soap so if I’m using soap dough for stenciling do I need to let the stenciled design cure for a month?
I am lost. Where do you get your stencils.
They're just regular stencils you can get at any local arts/craft/school section of a store or online. There's nothing special about them.
