For everyone who doesn't even get prom on their calendar, it seems to be an issue with Get Famous and MCC. If you disable Get Famous and remove MCC from your game your proms should start happening normally. I'm guessing Deaderpool will fix the MC Command Center conflict quite soon but who knows when EA will patch for a Get Famous fix....
How do I disable get famous 😭
Some people have said they disabled Get Famous and disabled mods and unfortunately their prom still never happened 😞 Hopefully this will get fixed.

@@makanagoggin1100 James Turner has a pack disabling system on his website everyone goes there’s also instructions on how to add it’s very easy.

I am currently playing all 6 Copperdale teens in a household. Got them all prom dates and no prom. Even got invited over to a pre prom party at another teen's house and a post prom party. But no prom.
The same thing happened to me. My girl got her prom date and invited to a party. I got her all dressed up and ready but nothing popped up to say lets go. I traveled to the auditorium and there was no prom. I was so heartbroken for my girl!
Do you use mc command center? that was the issue for me
@@WhinyBrit I do. It is Saturday again so I will try it by disabling MCC first.
@@WhinyBrit So I removed MCCC (at 7am Saturday). At 3:30 they went to Henford on Bagley for the chicken fair, and then at 5pm they went to the romance festival. I considered that their pre-party. I arrived at the auditorium around 6ish and at 7pm they were invited to prom. Sidney won prom king and Noah was the jester. Of course, I stuffed the ballot boxes and got the result I wanted. Only a bronze prom, but that's okay. Then they went to pier and chicanery ensued. They had a great time.
BTW they all got fully skilled in Fitness doing nothing but cheerleading, but it does not change their physiques at all. They are all now really fit thanks to wellness.
@@VioletKitty411 after deleting mcc and updating more columns. prom worked good but there was no food left . Jeb Harris won prom King and Sidney won prom jester

I’m lowkey glad I moved back to sims 3… although I can’t physically go to prom with my sim, at least my sims date will come over beforehand and I don’t have glitches like ts4 packs
The sims 3 generations is the best pack! I did realise in the next video that this was a mod issue however, prom did work for me in the next video!

@@heg203 thanks, I saw he already fixed it, and I already updated the mod before, so prom was still not working, maybe it's really the Get Famous exp. conflicting

Its conflicting with MCCC and Get Famous it’s best not to play Sims 4 until the patch update so just mess around with CAS.
I'm so jealous that you can actually play the game. The pack is so broken for me I have just installed it entirely :(

On the calendar, is there a button you can pick to cancel the talent show or anything else going on? Maybe you get to pick which event you want to take place at the time! I hope it works in the next episode!

Glad to know its not just my game that glitches out with prom but that still sucks 🙄😒
I was doing a little research and mc command center might have something to do with it, or get famous from what people are reporting.
Since the pack wide release, I’ve not seen one functioning prom.
Do you have get famous or MCC? Both of those totally break proms. Disabling Get Famous and totally removing MCC seems to fix it.

I had the exact same problem with prom. I redid the day multiple times & travelled to the Auditorium over & over again only to have it not load.
My prom showed up on the calendar and then disappeared and never happened
I had to uninstall the pack until they release a patch. My sims kept auto aging up and all the elders kept dying.
i believe that you can turn auto ageing off in the game settings

so just a heads up that you actually can do a job and after school activity at the same time! i had my sim sign up for cheer first, and then after that joined the simfluencer job and she was able to do both. And the careers let you pick which shift they do so they can either work before school or after their activities are done

This has always been a thing got nothing to do with the pack
A lot of people are having the issue with prom and I have noticed you have mccc. There is a new update to fix the issue as prom not happening has to do with mccc. I have the same issues with the social bunny, but I haven't tried to take other mods. A lot of mods have required fixing even after the patch update.
Yeah i think it was having mcc that caused it, i made a 3rd video (out tomorrow) where prom worked fine!

I had to start a new game I had ghost everywhere and dead sims..it's ok I just got upset, I'm still trying to learn this phone thing I'm not liking the phone, and cheats don't work on grades now
How do you go to cheerleading practice?! Every time I click on "Go to activity" it just sends my sim home and she misses it and her performance goes down. Anyone else have these issues?

One of my sims has 65 followers, I don't know how she got them but its been stuck on 65 and my other sim has zero. Apparantly activly using the social bunny App on the sims phone and hyping clothes on trendi is supposed to gain followers, i'm guessing its a bug??

It blows my mind. With the few things that players can do, so far, the followers seem to be broken, prom is broken, and can't sell the outfit creations. Every DLC has things to do, but most of it malfunctions, leaving the only thing that the Sims 4 has. Which is beautiful backgrounds and clutter. They could have added a football cut scene where a football game was being played, and the outcome would be decided by the participating sim's skills, like charisma to psych up the team and of course fitness. But I doubt that Maxis could get that to work. Because their skills lay only in making something beautiful.
I'm trying to find my feet with it there is a lot going on 🤣 ! Good expansion pack though happy overall.
Since the latest update I've also found that loads of the community are suddenly famous, even though I have disabled the fame in settings. Hover over them later and they're not?! Playing High School, I'm also unable to take photos in the booths with people that aren't in my household, and the prom suddenly disappearing/never happening are major bugs which I am astounded haven't been caught and fixed before release. What other frustratingly obvious bugs await? who knows, but what a effing shambles. :(

I've noticed that no matter what I do my high school grade doesn't go up. I've done all my homework, studied for my exam and I've got the gold check mark next to the excellent bar and still no going up a grade. Also how is my pet a proper celebrity????
James turner had the same problem. I think he sent the teen to school alone rather than joining for the day and the grade went up at the end of the day

there is a mod that allows you to have more than one job so you can have more than that.
I believe that the romantic ride is connected to the relationship status. If they were girlfriends, it would do it. It's the same as with the woohoo, you have to have a first kiss before the programming allows it. Which is stupid because it allowed them to mess around without the first kiss. But then again nothing in this game truly makes sense, to me. And it could have been another one of the bugs that plague this game. LOL.
So I deleted mccc and prom worked .. damn Sidney had a fight with me for no reason

I have MCCC and have updated wicked whims, basemental and MCCC, I'm not able to woo-hoo on any of the rides I don't even get the option for my teens to woo-hoo even on a bed. I did change the settings in MCCC to allow teen woo-hoo. Can you help me please ?!?! 🙏 😪

It was a mod conflict, but I removed the mod and it worked ok.

So, these expansion packs are official releases from EA/Maxis and they cause really annoying problems for legit players of The Sims?!
They seem like a really shoddy bunch! They need to invest in a few games testers and not just get their customers to be the actual testers!

It's stupid how sims will go into a classroom that is in session and and interfere with class. Maxis couldn't even come up with any common sense for the sims? And the teacher doesn't throw the disruptive sim out. Again, they concentrate upon the beauty of this pack, but don't really give anything that makes sense, even the activities are a bare minimum, of a resemblance of an interactive nature. A bunch of rabbit holes that the player has to jump through. It's all fine and good to have a decent amount of build items and clothes, but there also needs to be something to do that allows the players to enjoy the stuff they get. There is a little something called balance. Maxis goes from one extreme to another. Either they give no build items, like kitchen cabinets that match the older ones and give things to do that barely work, like the Wedding Stories which has hundreds of things for players to do. Or they give a lot of build items, but really nothing interactive. Maxis is just a machine pumping out product that malfunctions and makes no sense. Inviting a person to the prom during an active class is not even reasonable for anyone to accept.
As far as I know you get followers by selling your outfits on trendi
Yeah I have like 300 followers on trendi but none on social bunny I can't complete my aspiration :(

I like to think the global superstar thing isn't actually a bug, rather it's a feature representing the grandiose delusions teenagers typically have when their brains are still developing and not quite grasping what life on earth really is
it really does annoy me how all of the pier rides are rabbit holes. TS3 I get since its completely open world, but TS4 you have to load lot by lot and still can't even see my sims having fun on a ride 🥲 but your videos do make the sims 4 look fun, thank you for them :)
