Brit: i hate it when sims stands around and just stares. helena: when did I have these kids? Where is their father? is it even just one dad? when did I go to law school? who brings my tods to the daycare? oh one of the kids needs potty.
Yeah I have a sim family of six with two parents and that nearly did me in. Twin infants a toddler and a child. Just had an age up to two tots and the toddler is a child can’t wait for the oldest child to be a teen so she can help more.
Girl, where's the child support? 🤣 Love how you had all of these goals to potty train and teach them to ride bikes and make meals and by the end you were just trying to keep them alive and that sounds about right.
A little nugget of toddler advice: You can begin potty training them then cancel the action once they've sat down, and the tods will continue potty training without the adult sim! It saves so much time and energy!
For future challenges with a big family but limited parents you should get the "Always Has A Snack-Bag" lunchbox. It was a part of a back to school themed base game update from last summer. Everyone including toddlers can get quick meals and drinks from it by themselves.
Little tip for feeding large families: get the display/fridge from get to work that lets you sell food, make a bunch of meals and put them in there. The toddlers are able to grab food when they need it and it won't go bad as often from being left out. To make it even easier use the buffet table from luxury party stuff. Just serve food on the buffet table, put it in the display freezer, and your sim will never have to cook again.
I usually just open the fridge myself and drag the food out to a counter and have the toddler grab the serving for themselves. I didn't know that this was a thing that you could do! Thank you!
I have a challenge for you It's the Grilled cheese household challenge You must have a family of 4 they all have to wear yellow and get the Grilled cheese aspiration. Your house and everything in it has to be grilled cheese colors and after they turn into tots they can only eat grilled cheese and you have to get all the achievements for the grilled cheese aspiration you can change it you as you like it take away any rules also you must have 2 kids
As the young aunt of 3 (2 four year olds, and one 13 year old) The 13 year old is pretty chill while if you try to get something back from the twins they scream even if its theirs
I once tried to be a single parent looking after 5 toddlers. It was awful. I was trying to clean one toddler in the bath and the other toddlers all had really low hygiene and there needs were really low in general because I literally had no time to look after them. Every time I had managed the needs of one child, another child needed something. By the time I had finished giving a bath to the last child, the first child had bad hygiene again and I got messages saying that they might get taken away and I was worried so I hired a nanny but it said she would arrive on Monday and it was the weekend and at that point, I just gave up and decided to use cheats to just instantly fix their needs
I about had a heart attack in my homeless teen w/ toddler little sister game lol. Teen got herself a boyfriend (Wolfgang, only one in the Renegades that was nice to her lol), annnd she got pregnant. That was fine, she actually did really well raising her little sister and son. Her own needs were the biggest problem. Things got kicked up several notches when she got pregnant AGAIN. Still a teen, little sister just aged into a child, and son was an infant. As you know, pregnant Sims needs drop much quicker than other Sims. I actually got genuinely worried that she would die, as I didn't know that pregnant Sims were basically immortal at the time lol. I ended up giving them a young adult older vampire brother, with Kleptomaniac and Freegan traits. He got so stressed from working, I had to make him quit and focus his skills on making things. Now he sells wooden bathtubs worth between 1.2k-4k each lol. He's married to that B-Lister Holly Alto, and the teen's boyfriend moved in when she got pregnant with their 3rd child. The eldest boy, and 2 daughters. It's legitimately my favorite playthrough that I've ever done. They went from 2 girls in a tent, performing for tips outside of Karaoke bars and showering at gyms, to a full house that's decorated almost entirely with handmade/found stuff. The room they started with when they got enough money to put together one room (since I did NOT want her at the time newborn son to be out in the rain), is now the kitchen, they have a bunch of other rooms now. It's still a bit tight, the kids (teen and her boyfriend included) all share one big room at the moment (easiest way for them to take care of the babies), but it's leaps and bounds ahead of what it was before. Wolfgang even graduated early, and is working on his skills to become a well-rounded athlete (changed his traits and aspiration a bit before he moved in, to make him less annoying lol) little sister will be a teen soon and is working on becoming a doctor.
Pro tip: While children definitely cant help very much with childcare, if they're related to the toddlers, they can help with toddlers attention needs, can entertain them, and even tell them bedtime stories. Also, i haven't finished the video yet, so im sorry if you already knew this, but children can help build that treehouse that you have. They need an adult or teen with them, but they can help. You can have multiple people work on it, in fact, the more people that are working on it at once, the faster it gets built. I had a household with 7 people on it (1 young adult, 2 teens, 5 children) all work on the treehouse, and it only took something between 3-5 in game hours to complete.
I can't imagine her doing the 100 baby challenge as she seems like the type who'd get bored with how repetetive it'd get (relatable). Maybe I'm wrong bur considering how many story lines she does, might be the case
Ok I know she won’t do it but can you imagine if she did the 100 baby challenge but playing as one of her mean moms like the one that put dirty plates under her child’s bed for fun. That would be so hilarious. The commentary alone would have me in stitches. 😂😂
The first toddler you gave a bath to was playing in the toilet when you were trying to get the second one into the bath. So exactly what happens when I play a Sim with a bunch of kids. lol The kids can help with the toddler needs. They can give them attention, tell jokes, play with them, etc. That helps give the kids and toddlers some fun and social time. The destructive kid/toddler will always break the dollhouse minutes after you fix it again.
There's a food display surface that comes with Get to Work. It's like a fridge. Fill it with food and the toddlers can get food from it. It's not pretty but it works lol
Ah, I did this with the Too Many Toddlers scenario: seven toddlers and one mum. It was pretty much bedlam, but I did survive! I went with the gardening career so I would get paid just for doing one little chore each day. 😅 Even so, my mum never got enough sleep and I did give in and cheated her needs up twice before all the toddlers were aged up. At least my toddlers didn’t get so dirty and need a bath every day; not sure if that’s was because I don’t have the Parenthood pack or because I prioritized getting them all potty trained so I could skip the diapers.
Hi...Just subscribed to your channel....I've watched your video's on RUclips and love them.....Was having a crappy day one day and came home and watched one of your video's about the girl that was the ghost chaser....I laughed so hard...and the one where you get high and play as your high sim....You really make my day sometimes, and give me a laugh when I need one. Keep making your video's....your awesome.....:)
I feel like your yelling at Helena is for comedy, because obvs you realize, as the Sims playing goddess you are, that she crosses things off all the time because the toddlers haven't finished the tasks you've given them. :D If they've been told to play with a toy she can't bathe them until they've finished so she just moves on. LOVE LOVE LOVE your sense of humour and your channel. Thanks for being awesome.
@@TheDawnofVanlife Also EA doesn't seem to realize that in most families, children help out a lot, especially in big families. When I was a kid (even before preteen ages), I would help watch the kids, teach them to read, help cook, help with homework, etc. I'd also use full sized vacuums and could carry babies and toddlers lol. For context, I'm the oldest of 9, 3 being step siblings. In some ways, it's easier than the Sims. In other ways, it's harder.
When these kids grow up, i think it would b e interesting if they all work and stay home with mom and grow their family fortune as a team. It would be tempting to marry them off to go start their own families but i think it would be more unique that they're driven as a collective to help build the family fortune and become wealthy before starting their own fams. What a way for a struggling single mom to be repaid by her children some day.
With a house full of kids I make a few friends and have a social event of neighborhood potluck. I put some music on and chat a little with the guests. So much food comes, and after you call guests to meal, they eat a little and there's so much left over. I put most dishes away when the guests begin leaving and the kids have leftovers for a few days. Oftentimes quite fancy food too. 😅
I got the cheat to get my sim parents with 6 kids the “never weary” and “forever full “ rewards traits and it’s honestly a life saver.. my sims with those rewards are the best parents and have the happiest children!! They both are very close to maxing out the parenting skill
My sim is always cancelling giving her kids a bath so I usually have to have the mum be a magic user because there is a spell she can use that automatically cleans any toddler, goat, sheep, cow, or llama so she doesn't have to and things still get done. 😤
when you have so many kids, i found that starting an after school club where the only activity is doing homework, they automatically do it, so you don't have to manually assign them that task.
my sims are a couple with 2 toddlers and 1 infant and i can’t even handle them 😭 but my game is so glitchy, i’ll tell them do do something and they just won’t do it, or they’ll walk around the house instead of doing it 💀 my infants get the “unhappy infant” trait 90% of the time 😭
For anybody who wants to do this too I have a tip for you if you don’t know this already, you can put the toddler on the potty and once they’re already on the potty, you can ex out the action and your sim will walk away and your toddler will be on the potty and their skill will still go up. There’s just way more likely of a chance that they’ll have a potty accident. Feel free to use this if you don’t mind cleaning up the extra puddles.
One of my sims has 7 children. Oldest one is from CAS, 3rd oldest is adopted, all the others were born during the gameplay, all female except for the 2nd oldest, all singletons. Right now: Oldest is a teenager, 2nd oldest (boy) born from my sim and her lover is almost a teen, 3rd oldest is a kid, middle child is a kid from my sim's already deceased husband, 3rd youngest is toddler from her lover, 2nd youngest is also a toddler with a random townie father, youngest is a baby vampire daughter of Caleb Vatore 💀 House is a bit chaotic because there's always someone going to bed hungry or almost pissing themself But luckily the mom had a good career as a comedian before starting to pop babies (she probably has tons of kid jokes that pay the bills) +Selling the starter apartment the sim was the manager gave them a couple of grands to live comfortable on a 1 person salary Is also easier now that the oldest is a teen and can help a bit with her younger siblings being fed and potty time
You are a brave woman.... nothing puts more fear into me than having a full house of sims that are useless by themselves =( I think it would be fair to hire at least a maid since you are going for such a prestigious career!
12:40 sometimes you need to cancel whatever the child is doing before giving the parent an order, or the tasks clash and the parent doesn't do anything
😊 love your videos, I am a big Sims fan! I only just started Sims 4 starting to get the hang of it, 😅 I find the Sims 3 a little easier when it comes to building a house, lol! 😂 thank you for all your videos. I love your accent 😊
Love the challenge. Would love to see Helena in the future getting to the top of her career and finding love with someone who can help her with all those damn stinky kids 😅 tbh I can't believe you kept up with all that so well. Impressive. I'd be flailing.
Mine aren't single, but one of my couples just had sextuplets.... it was a NIGHTMARE!!!!!! 2 parents, live in nanny, nanny and a butler.... still 24/7 constant crying, pooping and eating... I got them to infant from newborn and that's all I could handle 😢
Actually, the kids can help out with the toddlers kids can get quick meals so they can help feed the toddlers while the mother is doing something else but that’s about all they can do so yes what they can do is very limited.
My last family had this many children and one of my teens ended up having TWINS so my sim was constantly taking care of children. Never again. Her daughter ended up having two kids. I did not want a big family after playing with them it was awful.
Thats the one thing I don’t understand about the sims toddlers and infants needs don’t go up in daycare? Like my sims can’t have a career we always need a nanny
I don't know why, but nannies have always been almost as worthless as daycares in my games. Only time they've been helpful is in full house families, as they can pick up where parents are too busy. They don't do anything unless the kids are fussing/crying from their needs being orange/red.
Jeez I made a sim have a tragic start to her relationship, got pregnant and then the father got into a accident , single mother raising two twin girls all on her own. Very very hard & I don’t use mods and was using all the dlcs for parenting and growing together and toddler add ons ect ect. Girls reached child and now I added a third 😂
lol. can you imagine how hard this would have been if you COULDN'T see all the needs of the kids??? ...... tho...that might actually be a fun 'challenge' lol; not allowed to click on the needs tab while u play😂
There is nowhere in the real world, where someone needs to stand there waiting for coffee to brew. There would be no reason to own a coffee machine that needs supervision. That's what makes owning coffee machine so valuable. It does the work I swear to whatever, Maxis has some of the dumbest thinkers in business. Major 😂 LOL!

It's more difficult in the SIMS than real life, speaking from experience on both.
Well in real life you can actually wash more than one toddler at the same time. Unfortunately, not possible in Sims.

when you have so many kids, i found that starting an after school club where the only activity is doing homework, they automatically do it, so you don't have to manually assign them that task.
I just love your commentary so much
my sims are a couple with 2 toddlers and 1 infant and i can’t even handle them 😭 but my game is so glitchy, i’ll tell them do do something and they just won’t do it, or they’ll walk around the house instead of doing it 💀 my infants get the “unhappy infant” trait 90% of the time 😭
I have found that with bath time for toddlers, when you click on the toddler and then basically do the interaction from the toddler it works better.
i just had triplets and a younger child in my game and i’m so glad i had 3 care dependents lmao i can’t imagine 7 kids with one parent
I always get so excited for your videos!
22:28 Littleuns? LORD OF THE FLIES 😂😂😂
For anybody who wants to do this too I have a tip for you if you don’t know this already,
you can put the toddler on the potty and once they’re already on the potty, you can ex out the action and your sim will walk away and your toddler will be on the potty and their skill will still go up. There’s just way more likely of a chance that they’ll have a potty accident.
Feel free to use this if you don’t mind cleaning up the extra puddles.
I was really hoping it was more videos of this family seemed like a pretty good series to follow
One of my sims has 7 children.
Oldest one is from CAS, 3rd oldest is adopted, all the others were born during the gameplay, all female except for the 2nd oldest, all singletons.
Right now: Oldest is a teenager, 2nd oldest (boy) born from my sim and her lover is almost a teen, 3rd oldest is a kid, middle child is a kid from my sim's already deceased husband, 3rd youngest is toddler from her lover, 2nd youngest is also a toddler with a random townie father, youngest is a baby vampire daughter of Caleb Vatore 💀
House is a bit chaotic because there's always someone going to bed hungry or almost pissing themself
But luckily the mom had a good career as a comedian before starting to pop babies (she probably has tons of kid jokes that pay the bills)
+Selling the starter apartment the sim was the manager gave them a couple of grands to live comfortable on a 1 person salary
Is also easier now that the oldest is a teen and can help a bit with her younger siblings being fed and potty time
3 toddlers is a lot. Also, I love Max20 fridge too, I'm using it all the time.
Anything in inventory from work you can sell? I loved this!
I looked up the origin of the word nappy. It's hilarious and amazing how many meanings it has, depending upon where it is used.
Yay looking forward to seeing more of this chaos!
Helena got off lucky, she could have been forced to deal with infants 😰
I would stand around fucking clueless as well if i woke up in a shotty house with all these kids and a job I don’t even have the skills for.
😊 love your videos, I am a big Sims fan! I only just started Sims 4 starting to get the hang of it, 😅 I find the Sims 3 a little easier when it comes to building a house, lol! 😂 thank you for all your videos. I love your accent 😊
gotta cook 2 dinners in party size 😭 so everyone can get a plate and seconds if they want
To increase fun, hygiene and attention all at the same time with toddlers, give them bubble baths.
I think it'll be cute if Helena fell in love eventually when she got her funds up
Love the challenge. Would love to see Helena in the future getting to the top of her career and finding love with someone who can help her with all those damn stinky kids 😅 tbh I can't believe you kept up with all that so well. Impressive. I'd be flailing.
7:04 they were finishing their cereal.
I once did the 7 toddler challenge. It was pure chaos. I stopped because it was just too much. Now I wonder what it would be like with 7 infants?
Ha! ive raised 10 infants with the intense trait just to see if i would go insane....... I did in fact... regret my decision lol
Best notification Ive got today! Never clicked so fast😭
A think buying a buffet table for such a big family would solve the food issue
Bruh, my game is so bugged my single toddler has 5 nannies
Mine aren't single, but one of my couples just had sextuplets.... it was a NIGHTMARE!!!!!! 2 parents, live in nanny, nanny and a butler.... still 24/7 constant crying, pooping and eating... I got them to infant from newborn and that's all I could handle 😢
Thank you for this video! 😀💐💐💐
I wanna do this except with three kids three toddlers and one infant. Boy oh boy am I in for a fun time!
The lunch box would of been handy for the toddlers
Actually, the kids can help out with the toddlers kids can get quick meals so they can help feed the toddlers while the mother is doing something else but that’s about all they can do so yes what they can do is very limited.
The answer to the title question is, “AAAAAAAAAAAAGH!”
Always clear the toddler’s action cues before trying to get mom to do anything with them.
Scout's mum be like:
3 minutes late! Love ya Karla! And you’re welcome for watching your video:)
The kids can teach the toddlers blocks. 😆
The next step to the 100 baby challenge! 😂
You should start a club for the kids and put the activities as do homework and cleaning that way they just autonomously do those things.
Where is the “put toddler to bed” option for an almost 2 year old? 😭
I love your channel ❤
My last family had this many children and one of my teens ended up having TWINS so my sim was constantly taking care of children. Never again. Her daughter ended up having two kids. I did not want a big family after playing with them it was awful.
Why do the delivery people always stand around after you've accepted the delivery? 😂
Thats the one thing I don’t understand about the sims toddlers and infants needs don’t go up in daycare? Like my sims can’t have a career we always need a nanny
I got a mod for that bc that's stupid
I don't know why, but nannies have always been almost as worthless as daycares in my games. Only time they've been helpful is in full house families, as they can pick up where parents are too busy. They don't do anything unless the kids are fussing/crying from their needs being orange/red.
Jeez I made a sim have a tragic start to her relationship, got pregnant and then the father got into a accident , single mother raising two twin girls all on her own. Very very hard & I don’t use mods and was using all the dlcs for parenting and growing together and toddler add ons ect ect. Girls reached child and now I added a third 😂
I tried this before but I had a mom and a father, I’m gonna try this next! I got 8 eight kids😂
I love your videos!
Running a store with Brazen lotus mods would be a fun challenge you might like 👍
lol. can you imagine how hard this would have been if you COULDN'T see all the needs of the kids??? ...... tho...that might actually be a fun 'challenge' lol; not allowed to click on the needs tab while u play😂
Major 😂 LOL!
yo! was wondering who would win in a jungle adventure temple run ?
a max:ability spellcaster ,werewolf ,or vampire.
care to give it a try?
One of the first ❤❤
Do you have a creator code for ea
I do! it's WHINYBRIT
karla i love packing a bowl and playing the sims with you ❤🍃🫣
The first thing I’m going to do when I start playing the sims again is lengthen the time during the day. It goes by way to fast.
When you x33 your sims game you lose so much extra time --- it's crraaaazzzzyyyyyyy.
