Fun fact, you don’t need to buy wax if you collect it from the bees! A soybean (?) plant works too as I believe they’re year-round but I could be wrong
As you have been making friends with the birds and rabbits, you should be able to ask them for gardening help when it’s at a high enough level. Golden chickens are also fab as they increase all your plants to perfect quality so worth getting one if you can. You also got 10% extra profit before the local fair was on. If you haggle this can increase. 😊
@@NessiiBear sorry I didn’t see your message, so you may already have found out but feeding a regular chicken a golden treat turns it golden for life. To get the golden treat, you’ve got to keep checking the garden shop stall in henford-on-bagley until they randomly decide to sell it. Enjoy! 😊
I loved this! Totally inspired this! I did make a few changes (for anyone interested) so I changed the workshop area into a horse barn. Deleted the cauldron because that’s just too much for one sim and replaced it with a nectar making station, added off the grid fridge, stove, and toilet. These things *may* make it easier but everything is still off the grid and I’m having so much fun! I wanted to have the whole experience for the animals and a farm. Goats are coming next 😬😬 when she gets some money lol
If the fishing sign in your pond was placed with moveobjecs then you won't be able to fish. You need to disable moveobjects, put the sign where the game allows you to put it, and then it will work.
The store actually sells a a soy bean plant. If you plant it, it will give you the soy for making candles. At least it's one thing that you won't need to purchase.
I'm so glad EA gave you a code! To be honest, I hadn't wanted to use anyone else's for some reason. But I'm excited to use yours on the new pack ☺️ I love your videos, thank you for all the giggles 😁
There is a way to get bits and pieces without going to Evergreen Harbor. Turn on the Reduce and Recycle lot challenge and sort compostables and recyclables from trash cans. Whenever you cook something you might get compostables in your sim's inventory.
here lately I've been putting simple living on every lot and using the prep mixer to make cooking more immersive. it's been making my gameplay more fun.
This was a really nice change for the norm. Also, I was never able to befriend the fox, myself, but I believe it's possible. Giving the foxes a few eggs is supposed to be the best way to befriend them. And, then they won't bother as much or at all. But, I'm not sure. I really enjoyed this video, Whiny. Good job!
Lol! You are too funny. "No pot to p!ss in". I had an indigenous couple who lived solely off the land.off grid and selling jewelry and gems on selling table.
You can make candles with the beeswax, and 1 jar of honey fills your hunger all the way and never goes bad! Also, wear the beekkeepers suit to do everything except bond with bees so they done sting you.
Always try to haggle with the vendors first. On a normal day it's 10% mark up for selling your inventory and 25% off on purchasing their goods. I think it's more on Saturday or whenever the Finchwick Fair is.
Yes! This is an interesting gameplay. With so many medieval style supporting items and lot traits we have now, you could work yourself up from a small medieval cottage to a blooming and thriving castle live.
Ever since u first got the code i use it w every new pack as they come out! I wishh u had the early access for lovestruck but ik its worth the wait. Even though im dying to see what u do w the new pack! Drama w the assholes u come up w is gonna be hysterical!! Keep up the insanely chaotic amazing work karla!!
recently did a playthrough similar to this and found out if you haggle at the market before you sell, you can make more money from your sales if it's successful.
Isn't she tho'?? I hope she *TRULY* knows how much joy she adds to people's lives with her Whiny Brit Potty Mouth!! (I love her so! Her dirty, dirty mouth, that is! Okay. That sounded like... a bit much. My bad.) LOL!
I love watching your videos and often base my sim adventures off them! I hope you see this as I have a great tip I've recently found when selling items in inventory there's an off button in the top right corner press it! It makes it so you can sell multiple items at once even the ones that say they can't be sold, hope this helps!!
I learned with off the grid, there’s no baking allowed. I was kinda upset that I couldn’t make pies. You can make a frog hotpot that gives you a great mood buff.
The 10% extra from the stalls is because of it being a day that the fair was going. If I am remembering correctly, it stacks with the profit/discount you get when you successfully haggle.
The reason you got a 10% markup on Saturday is because Saturday is the day of the Finchwick Fair, and everything sells at a 10% markup during the fair. I don't remember if the markup is all day or just while the fair is going on, but it's only on Saturdays. Also you need to put the fishing sign IN the water of your pond in order to fish in it
This Sim: Making artificial food and energy out of physical work and knowledge. Fantastic. The Advert: Ancient civilisations somehow making artificial food and (even antigravity!) energy out of "sound harmony and mental resonance". Oh dear. I do love these parallels sometimes from ads.
I'm playing a similar challenge but only using one type of plant. Fortunately, it grows like a weed and can be used raw in several recipes, or cured in jars, bagged up and sold for good coin.
I am so disappointed in myself because I saw this video but accidentally clicked on something else and couldn’t find it again so I went on my subscriptions so find your yt channel and realized that I wasn’t subscribed! I just subscribed so yeah, that’s that.
Not true... when I was a kid, my dad had beehives and when you take the honey from the bees, you do have to give something back because if you didn’t, they would die... You give them a mixture of sugar and water. 😉
I love to make my Sims save their harvest for the Finwick Fair - that's where you get the extra 10%. If you haggle successfully, you get a 25% profit - many of my rags to riches have ended abruptly there as my Sims get all the money they could ever need. 😀
Im playing the Ultimate Decades Challenge, not even at the starting year yet of 1300 lol, so i guess extreme ultimate decades challenge 😂😂😂, but 1 thing i noticed is that it is EXTREMELY easy to live off the grid.
I literally laughed out loud....."has Sims 4 turned into a horror game and I've not been notified?".....20 seconds later: "aaaw, it's like a Disney movie" lol
I don't typically watch playthroughs, but this was simultaneously hilarious and engaging. Inspired me to do a similar household, as you made it look fun. Thanks. I rarely play in Henford-on-Bagley. it's actually crazy how much profit you can actually make by doing gardening, painting, writing books... it makes having a job in the sims look silly 😭

Ok
Leave it to EA to have codes that don't even provide discounts... 😔
When you finally make WhinyBrit merchandise, the first T shirt you sell should say “Fuck off, welcome wagon.”
I'd wear that shit 😂❤
Followed by "go take a shit"
@@missbeehavingsimfollowed by 'don't slam that fridge door' 🤣🤣
And "just a little kiss.."
Love watching WB! ❤

That should be her Valentine’s Day special sale one
Socialize with Patchy even when he's in his dormant state. That would help your social need when the animals are asleep :)
“He died by the plague or, … something” Quality 🤣
“anyway, we have a cow, this is brown cow. she’s fabulous and she knows it” 😭
Real
brown cow, stunning
I love this sim. The dark haired Cinderella. Good story and very calming. I hope she’s popular as I would love to follow Lianne’s story.
All of her content is amazing but sometimes she really picks a winner, I’d to see more medieval stuff too (That sim is so beautiful)
Yes! I was looking for more episodes! I thought it said part 4 but I misread😢
Fun fact, you don’t need to buy wax if you collect it from the bees! A soybean (?) plant works too as I believe they’re year-round but I could be wrong

You can get an off the grid fridge "ice chest" for your cold items that you go to the lake to get water to stock it with ice
The neat thing about oversized crops is that they grow all year round, perfect for a farm based rags to riches
“you best be scared of janet”- reminds me of when i feared cows as a child
god i love COTTAGECORE

I highly suggest using the glutton trait sometimes cus they can eat spoiled food without consequence
And as a glutton, you can rummage in the bins and find food 😂
@jazzysugar3777 you can also rummage through the bins with the freegan trait
‘No pot to piss in’ then pans over to a whole kitted out house 😂😂
But she’s legit pissing in a bush sooooo……
LOL THAT'S MY REAL LIFE! collect eggs, carry water, bathe, feed animals, clean runs/pens. No welcome though lol
Medieval peasant look, slightly marred by the modern dressed welcome wagon
As whiny would say “fuck off, you’re ruining my immersion” 🤣
The store actually sells a a soy bean plant. If you plant it, it will give you the soy for making candles. At least it's one thing that you won't need to purchase.

There is a way to get bits and pieces without going to Evergreen Harbor. Turn on the Reduce and Recycle lot challenge and sort compostables and recyclables from trash cans. Whenever you cook something you might get compostables in your sim's inventory.
Canning produces compostable waste all the time so it's a good hobby for gardeners.
