Magical light and pure beauty.
I just love this so much. I paint a bit myself but am stunned time and time again by your technique and colour choice. So vibrant without going over the top. The palette knife prevents becoming too detailed and gives such nice paint application. There are a ton of artists I admire but few who's work I would actually want hanging on my wall. Yours is one of them though. Great stuff, thanks for sharing.

Wow. There are not enough words to describe just how beautiful this painting is. I mean It’s just amazing how talented you are. Like who can paint so freely and beautiful with just a few palette knives? And make the reflections look like glass? Only you! This is just perfect. Gorgeous! I’ve always dreamed of owning a beach home on the coast of somewhere beautiful. It will probably always be just a dream. You capture the light so well, and exaggerate the natural hues. Even with the exaggeration, it is instantly recognisable as Australian lighting and colour. And the colours are so appealing to the eye. One day i might be able to afford a painting or print of yours, because your art is something I would very happily put on my wall, and enjoy for many years. Thank you for your videos. It's enlightening and even exciting to see how you work and see the landscape.

Richard thank you sooo much for this painting. I was thinking at the end how I could sit and look at the painting for a long time, lost in the eerie beauty, and the colour. G'day mate. Once again the Wizard of Light and Master Illusionist performs for us. It's magic that's what it is, must be. The blending or mixing of colours to create tonal dominance or subtlety, a flick of the wand to accentuate the highlights. Every performance lends itself to a mystery beginning, building in interest and anticipation before the final act is revealed. The audience is indeed lucky and spellbound, if not awed. Richard, Another stunning painting! Mesmerizing technique to watch.You are really a genius with color. I recently took up pastel painting which is pure pigment in a stick. You should give it a try if you haven't already. Colors can be beyond vibrant. I can see you painting a large piece using the jumbo pastel sticks with your direct mark making style. I'm addicted! Watch Tony Allain, Tara Will and especially Alain Picard. So fabulous! Thanks again for sharing your gorgeous paintings!
