It's been 2 years since I bought my Ferrari 360 Spider. Here's how it's gone and what it's cost to run - Авто/Мото
I have the exact same car. Colour and everything except mines a manual. You’re so right about the attention the car receives. It’s non stop from the moment I get on the road. Constant thumbs ups, people get their phones out and video it , they talk to you at stoplights. It’s nuts man.
When you mentioned they are typically not a good investment . . but now it’s worth €10,000+ more than you paid for it. It was a great buy 👍🏻
Mario Cantani But hey it’s a Ferrari, if you use it you need to maintain it. The great thing is it’s gone up in value 😁
Beautiful World it’s a great thing for sellers but a terrible thing for buyers!
It’s really fun to watch you share your experience with so much excitement snd joy like a little boy 😄👍🏻
Congratulations on two years with the 360, Justin! I hope you continue to enjoy it in good health
very nice video once again love the drone shots!
Yes! I wanna feel how you feel!! A must in my retirement in 2 years. Nice vid. Thanks. 🙏🏼
Another great video Justin. Love the fact your just a normal hard working guy a with a Ferrari. Keep the videos coming, look forward to them 👍
thanks Darren.
I relate to your experience. Owning a unique or exotic car opens the door to unique opportunities. Great video; a convincing case for the 360.
Excellent video there Fezza.
thanks mate!
really refreshing to see someone here who's worked so hard for what they have! You can genuinely tell how much owning that car means to you
thanks Sean. It took longer to get there than I hope but am definitely enjoying it very much now :)
great video Justin!
Thanks for sharing. Very informative. And make it seem very attainable.
Hey friend, thank you making this video. Rob from Superspeeders echos many of your thoughts and your overall experience.
I could buy it now but that’s unwise. I’m all-in with physical gold and silver and hustling options as well with momentum stocks and shorting covid losers.
I’m 33 now, hope to acquire one in the next 2-4 years. Looking forward to posting a video like this one day.
Thank you again for this, despite Covid chaos and getting laid off, my goals are more important than ever and I really appreciate this video of inspiration and joy you have shared.
Thank you very much sir.
Much respect from California.
Can't believe you bought the same car as me within weeks, I bought mine on the 16th of May 2015 and the car has been a dream to own. I can't believe how driving a car like this splits opinion though through the reaction you get from people. Maintenance wise I've spent even less than you, costs being insurance, tyres, and servicing mainly. Keep up the good work.
hehe, that's a coincidence! Glad to hear your enjoying yours and that it's costing you even less money to maintain :)
Fezza are you going to the dealership to service your car..?
Great video and huge help in keeping the dream alive.. thank you.. 👍
Nice - it's always good to hear that other 360 owners are in a similar boat to myself, especially when it comes to maintenance cost. (Although I would have to pull out all the receipts to work out how much it's cost me exactly.)
A little jealous of the convertible over my coupe, but here in the UK there's a lot more rain to worry about ;-) If it wasn't for the weather I'd definitely have put in more than 3k miles a year over the last 3 years but hey-ho.
Glad you're also enjoying Ferrari ownership
Lovely looking car there Justin. Fantastic aerial video footage with the drone....really gonna have to invest in one. Really wish I could afford a Ferrari. It's also my dream car.
Hey Justin! Great Video as always! Following you since one year now. Like the drone shots! There the shape of the beautifull car comes out. Your videos brought me to by my 360 this year. A blue pozzi with manual gear Box. My first prancing horse as you. Enjoy it now in the sun! Best regards from northern Germany!
Hi Christian! Great stuff. You don't see many blue 360's, they are very rare! And a manual, that's brilliant. Hope you're enjoying your car :)
Good mornig! The best about the 360 is the sound... really Ferrari like. I have the exaust system from the Challage Stradale.. so cool. In Tunnels always Fun! Looking forward to your next videos and the next weekend-tour!
Best real life review of a 360 ever! Hopefully I will be able to do the same one day ;)
best of luck mate!
There she is :D Looking beautiful as always :D Also first time (I think) I've seen drone footage in your vids too - Nice Touch Fezza :D
Be safe buddy
thanks Chris. Yes, only recently started playing around with the drone.
Good on you mate.love the car it sounds awesome. and your so humble as well :)
really informative for people who thinks all exotic cars are very expensive to maintain , im glad i came through ur vid :D
Fantastic video and great insights on Ferrari ownership, Justin! Looking forward to the Ferrari community video :) In August I will be travelling to Spain for two weeks, I'll keep my eyes open for a red 360 Spider with carbon CS mirrors ;)
thanks mate! You won't need to keep your eyes open though....you'll just hear me coming ;)
Fantastic review! I can’t wait to own one of these in the future!
thanks mate. Hope you don't have to wait too long to get your hands on one :)
You kept your word regarding the 360, i appreciate that! Honestly i can't wait much longer till i get mine, yes it will be daily driven and it will get a bit of a beating, but dreams are meant to be experienced, and honestly it wouldn't kill the dream driving it every day! But excellent video i enjoy your great advice, I'll have to post the video of mine when i get it.
thanks mate.....and look forward to see your videos of your 360 :)
This was a humbly great video to watch !
thanks mate
I understand your feelings to buy this car :-) Great vid. thumbs up!
Congrats man! Awesome car indeed! =D
Justin,
Happy Birthday , great pleasurable review of you living your dream with your 1st Supercar!
thanks Keith!
You are welcome Justin.
Always take pleasure and usually a healthy laugh when watching your video threads.
However, no more break-in news after a Sunday lunchtime.
Hope your 50000volts solution sorts the bastard out.lol
haha! Yeah, that would be a good solution. Today we are eating at home! Car is going in to be fixed tomorrow but it's not cheap as they have to fix and repaint the door.
Justin,
Have a lovely family day and enjoyable lunch.
Look forward to seeing your RS, as good as new video.
Cheers
Keith
excellent especially drone footage, I want to leave CA & relocate to Spain with the cavallino.
People are drooling over the lambos, i'm still waiting to get my hands on my favourite car (360) ._.'
TOP VIDEO MATE!! dron part is spectacular
thank you :)
Outstanding video, Fezza. Of course I'm prejudiced because I have the same car, but basically all the things you said about it - good, bad, and indifferent - are true. The drone intro and music were awesome (I watch a lot of RUclips and I had never heard it before) and the area you live is gorgeous; in fact I'm intending to look into it for retirement.
thanks Dave! Glad to hear you're enjoying your 360 too!
Thanks for sharing. Super helpful.
brilliant video good to here the real price to run 1:-) and it still looks modern for its age cheers steve:-)
sounds great! carnt wait until I get mine one day!
Been thinking about getting one and you helped making my mind up. Loving my RS. So in a year or so going to add a red horse 👍👍.
oh wow! Excellent mate. Let me know how it goes when the time comes!!
Fezza - great video and nice to see and the truth about life with a Ferrari. If you can sell the car now and basically break even, you should be in the market for a replacement Fezza and hopefully do the same over the next 2 or 3 years.
I knew I had heard your title music for this video, it's what Abom79 uses.
Keep up the good work.
thanks mate. Yeah, I am monitoring prices for 430's and 458's at the moment...we'll see!
Been looking to buy the 2005 model I believe its the last of its kind. You have convinced me. Beautiful sounding machine👍
Thanks for the comprehensive intro,
Really honest, thanks!
"the ladies hehehehe" 'nuff said
LOL even the passing cats like your car! 13:46 maybe he saw the car and thought "he must be the guy with the treats" lol
Thanks for the video I liked
Good vid and keep it up
You will understand the "Access" a great car gets you if you watch the film "The Million Pound Note"
Just came across your videos and really enjoyed the ones I have watched. Surprised I haven't come across your channel before. You have definitely gained a new subscriber.
thanks mate, appreciate the support :)
Very nice video. I understand you 100%
I just took out my 360 sunroof for a little ride today in Bavaria. I love the Sport mode on the Autobahn. I don't like the look oft the rear Challenge Stradale grill that much, though. Keep it up, Justin.
thanks Rupert!
I'll get my dream car one day (Porsche). You can certainly feel the heritage in these kind of cars, something thats hard to explain to a non car person.
I have a Porsche I'll sell ya'
How close are you towards it now?
@@Yofish77 Ha, Covid had put the brakes on that idea for now.
Aweome video!!
Awesome work with the Drone Man! It does seem a little jittery though.
yeah, I need to practice some more with it to get more confident with it but hopefully will get better for future videos.
great work mate! looking forward to the next video!
Nice video there buddy. But can you breakdown the cost? Apart from insurance cost which varries by country what were the other costs incurred during the 2 years of ownership
Really enjoyed the honest insight into owning a 360. Surprisingly fairly palatable, despite some of the repairs you've had to fork out on. Some people spend more in two years by buying a new Focus...!
hehe, yeah you're right!
Also, I should've added that your drone footage looks stunning!
Really useful video! I thought the running costs on such cars would be extremely high but apparenly not... I hope that I'll manage a successful career and be able to afford it! Sounds better than most modern supercars, and its soft lines make it age very well indeed.
best of luck mate. Hope you manage to get one soon :)
Nice drone work.
Cracking video. Just one problem - not long enough!
thanks Andy...but I thought it was too long as it was!
They sound super nice I just rented a 458 Italia and when you romp on it man does it scream
4:07 put your headphones volume to the max and thank me later
Erotic
Congratulations, you have a beautiful car.
Nice video and story
awesome sound and love the drone shots. In regards to changing your Ferrari, do you like any particular TVR?
thanks mate. I love the TVR Griffith very much. The looks and sound for me are just perfect. They do sometimes come up for sale in Spain but they are very rare here.
awesome video respect. like both no all of your cars. Because i love cars.
Great vid! What country are you in? Beautiful landscape.
omg, good job fezza, i like a lot this video, some people always asking that (for example ME) how much spend in a sport car, i wish in the future have a sport car, this video give me a idea for that, regards, I'm living in spain too, but in madrid :v
gracias Carlos!
I love that you bought a non original paint Ferrari and that you really enjoy your car!
Man u r talking about me when i owned ferarri.. exactly same feeling
Well, first I would like to thank you for making me a little less apprehensive in purchasing a 360. The stories that you sometimes hear about Ferrari's can be a bit terrifying. You have meticulously put things in perspective. I also enjoyed your life story, and congratulate you on your persistence - The Ferrari is a great reward! Have you done the timing belts yet? I don't remember seeing that video -
thanks Jim. Glad you have found the videos helpful. Timing belts are being done in 3 months time so I'll do an update video on that soon.
My God...that sound with the top down. Intoxicating.
Dude! You're awesome
What is the ground clearance of the lowest point of the front fascia?
Very cool brother. God bless you!
Thank you :)
Absolute dream car .Had a chance to drive one last week for 2 days and even thought they say never meet your heroes this peace of engineering art reminded me of why it is my dream car . I always wanted to get one now I am definitely getting it 😃
great stuff mate! Hope you manage to get one soon :)
Fezza Thanks 😊
Spain is soooo beautiful. So is the car! oh yeah, interesting about what you said about the people you meet. enjoy! hehe.
@Shukin Andjivin wow. I had no idea. Always wanted to visit...but zi guess nowadays with CV19 its a wash.
I bought my first Ferrari at 24 years old. now I am 59 .I am looking to buy a 360 spider sometime in 2021 Maintenance was a big reason I sold was my first one after 3 years.
Nice driving
May I ask what kind of symptoms did the clutch release bearing give before it broke? You couldn't choose any gear while engine was running, right? But when engine was shut down and ignition was ON, you could go trough every single gear?
mine was evident at low speeds when the car was kangarooing a bit, especially going slow in second gear. Big job to replace though so I had the clutch done at the same time too.
look after it and enjoy it ferrari's are going up in value so you still have something of value, spider is perfect for spain.the noise of the car is awesome.
It’s absolutely beautiful. I think there’s only two cars on earth better looking than this. I have a bmw m3 convertible so I have some speed and what I think is a beautiful car but your car is number 3 on my list of the most beautiful cars ever made. Number 2 is the Ferrari 355 spider. Number 1 is the 1957 Plymouth fury. (Christine for those who aren’t familiar)
Did you put a 360 challenge bumper on your car? If so, I quite like it as it adds a lovely and aggressive touch. Also, I am especially fond of the stradale side mirrors.
The car is as I bought it 2 years ago. I'm pretty sure the bumpers are standard, although it has the challenge grills front and rear. The mirrors look very cool but they are not original Stradale ones.
I agree with you that spyders are awesome-when the top is down. I think there's nothing uglier that a cloth top when it's up.
But did you put down any money initially while at the dealership.
Hi Fezza, you have done the series, now we need the film! I am in a similar position to you with Nice cars and use them daily for work, a convertible is the best experience. I run mine to death though. Which drone have you gone for? (DJI Mavic PRO is one I am looking at) Organise a barbecue in a field with some live music...could be a good venue to drive over for.
thanks Don. A barbecue in a field sounds like a good plan! The drone I have is the DJI Mavic Pro. It's excellent, loads of features but I'm still learning with it. I just don't enough time to play with it.
Beautiful 👍😊
good for you! ^^
Wonderful video! You’ve made me much more confident as I shop for my first Ferrari. And a 360 is high on my list. It’s been six years; do you still own it??!
Does the f1 paddle have any issues?
Can you please tell me, where the video was made in spain? Looks like a very nice location....thanks
Yes, South of Spain. Costa del Sol area
Hey Fezza, please expand on the dead battery and having to replace the key locks. I think I see a key hole in the door, why couldn't you just unlock the car with a key? Forgive me, I'm not a Ferrari owner so I don't know the ins-and-outs. BTW, I really like your videos and appreciate you sharing your experiences on both the Focus RS and Ferrari 360 Spyder. I am kicking around the idea of purchasing a Focus RS or a Golf R in the future.
the problem was that the door locks were broken inside. When I tried to unlock the doors with the keys it didn't work. It was a right pain to get the car open!!
Your music introduction is great, who is the artist?
So taking out appreciation or depreciation effect, the cost per kilometer was around €0,70 i.e. €9,800 / 14,000 km.
Already informative, thanks.
How old was the car when bought? A great extra would have been if you have amounts of fixed and variable costs separately, but that would require precise cash outflow documentation and accounting, which maybe not everyone has passion to do :-)
It was 13 years old when I bought it. Will try a closer eye on the numbers with the next one!
I'm the same with any nice car I own, love it so much that I can't get rid of it until it's too late.
The Ferrari 360 as well as the f430 are not loosing value they are actually a good investment for the future 🤙🏽🚘
I need to make that poster a reality, very nice dude
fezza!!! wow that is a great noise mate, love that Ferrari she's fantastic. Are you still looking at changing it for another one?
thanks Gary. I'm going to keep it for another year but do need to look to change to a 430 or 458 as the mileage is getting a bit high on mine becauase I do actually use it. We''ll see. The 430 is only a bit more money but the 458 is a lot more.
So if you finance the car how do you not lose money with interest repayments and maintenance
Because if you can better invest that money it can give you a good return. No point tieing up money in a car. Borrowing is cheap now. When I sold my 360 I sold it for more than what I bought it for. That's the key thing, buy at the point when they can't go down any more.
My mate with the 360 that looks like a CS has stopped driving his now as its gone up in value so much he recons it would cost him £20k per 10k miles in lack of appreciation !! His car has been values at £100k !!!!!
Good for you fella. If you can afford it, have it!.
awesome I want one ! do you do your own work ? or take it to a shop?
If I had the time I would at least have a go myself but generally I get an independent specialist to do all the work on it
