I loved this episode, your energy and enthusiasm is infectious Damian. I did not like the 360 when it was launched but would love one now and can’t believe I didn’t appreciate it until 3 years ago. The colour combination of this car is truly gorgeous. Hope your sore throat eases soon.
Terrific summation. You nailed the review and steering observation. First thing I noticed was the go kart like precision and lightness. Sometimes, it’s not about the latest or the greatest. The fastest or the most powerful. It’s about the rawness, balance and the feedback.. and how it makes you feel. Really loved this Damian. You sir, totally get it. Respect.
Great episode and I love your enthusiasm for the car. I have owned all 3 variants of the 360, Modena, spider and Challenge Stradale and they are all fantastic. The manual is great but the f1 box in the Stradale is still good with the upgraded ecu over the standard car. I still think the shape is timeless and will be a future classic. Keep up the great work and reviews, loving the channel. 👍
@@kajlaspl495 just a fortunate bit of business many years ago and working hard to keep those dreams alive and those cars running. I have other cars too not just Ferraris.
The MANUAL gear box DOES make that big a difference. Sam’s car is the perfect set up. Proper exhaust and gear box with that lovely V8 and killer good looks. A perfect V8 FCar!
The glass engine cover, the gearbox, the instrument cluster, the hidden buttons, the air intakes view in the mirrors, real class, real class. I remember liking the design of the F430 when it was launched more than the 360, but I agree that the 360 has aged well and I also think it's better looking now. While I also like the F355, the one thing that nobody mentions is how much smaller it is than every mid engine Ferrari V8 after it. It's significantly shorter in length, and also a couple inches shorter in height which gives it a great low presence on the road.
100% agree. When the F430 came out, I thought "this fixes this odd proportions of the 360..." but now that time has passed, the 360 is the better looking car, with the F430 looking oddly chunky from some angles with an especially unpleasant rear lighting treatment.
The 360 has perfect lines and perfect proportions. The f430 superior in every way but design. I think everything being the same I'd take the 360 manual over the 430 manual. I owned a 360 and I got a damn f1 biggest mistake of my life
Thank you Damian for the series, love your passion for Ferrari. The 360 is great value and already a classic, especially in that livery. A manual 430 for me all day long, engine (3/4 an Enzo), sound, handling, power and looks…Ferrari’s peak analogue.
‘You just need to drop your hand down, feel the shape of the twisty knob, to get the desired effect’.....love it😜 I’ve never known you to juice up and vaselate over car as much as you have with this one Damian. Another great video 😉👍🏾
"Winkey fizzage" 😂 I love it. Such a beautiful car!! Maybe you should get together with Sam and discuss further? Feel better Damien and thank you for all of your hard work 😎
Had my 360 for 14 years this coming December, its never let me down and a real joy to drive. It’s only done 11,000 miles but after watching this I think I should drive it more often.
Had a 360 Spyder manual with Tubi, in Grigio Alloy with blu sera Daytona seats. Fabulous car. Only downsides were chassis flex, width and envy from some bystanders
Have one (F1 gearbox) of 2004: grey alloy and red leather interiors! Tuned ecu, new titanium exaust, lowered 12 mm and widened 2 + 2 cm the wheels: it screams like a F1 car and is like a big, extremely elegant go-kart. Still amazing and incredible sexy car. Fantastic review: hello from Italy!
I remember driving both a 355 and a 360 Modena around Thruxton back in 2000. The 360 absolutely blew me away by how much better it was than the 355, which was a belter in the first place. Great chassis, great handling, great noise and great steering feel. I've always liked the looks TBF. My ideal spec would probably be a Manual in Alloy Blue with either Dark Blue leather or Crema.
Great episode.. the 360 is, and always was, a lovely car. As Damien points out, it was a step up from the 355 both in construction and handling. I recall going to the factory when they were being produced and being amazed by the hands on construction techniques that Ferrari still employed at that time. I love colour scheme, particularly the red interior. My 355GTS interior had the same fabulous red. Who doesn't love a red interior?
Great episode, Damian! 👍🏻 This car is much underated and I fully understand your passion for it: It was the first Supercar I ever drove (owned & loaned by a friend) Brand New back in 2002 (also a manual) and I achieved speeds on the (albeit totally desserted) public highway that I will not disclose or ever repeat in the future! 🤭 The example you show is just superb in every respect, the paint job is sublime and apart from the Sticky plastic (that is a typical older Italian car problem) and lack of aircon, a truly ICONIC machine! 10/10!
Possibly one of your best videos, husky voice included. I do own another Italian beast in this colour combination, nothing else than a Mk.I Fiat 127 with dark blue exterior (doubt they bothered naming it) and burgundy interior including vinyl (vegan leather in today’s world), fabric and carpets.
There is something very special going on with this car. It becomes mo4e beautiful and timeless with each passing year and it is in my opinion one of the most beautiful cars ever made. And there is something else.. it's flaws and mechanical shortcomings precisely give it a connection and relationship between driver and machine that no modern car can give and the simplicity of it's masterful design and controls is something that the world will never see again moving forward. And finally there is the sound that no V8 before of after can touch.. and let's not mention newernsmaller displacement ones. This is a car for the ages that will as good or better than any car years from now and that will give a thrill and truly magic experience that just about very few other cars can. I love Ferrari as a brand and many of the cars they gave produced. The 360nisnonits was to be one of the most recognizable and wanted jewels in the car world as it deserves, and get ready in 15 to 20 years from now to be paying millions for one if you can get your hands Ina good example. A masterpiece that you can adore today and will love tomorrow.. one that will be among to redefine why old and dated can be two completely different things. Get one while you can and don't worry about putting miles in it. You will living the dream most people in the world can't ever fathom and experience something newer generations will never know how it feels.
You touched on this point several times but I think the 360, 430 and 599 benefit from being made in a simpler format than today's tech-tastic super cars. Multi-feature steering wheels, passenger displays, hybrid and all the rest of it; there's just too much going on across new Ferrari's. The clean, elegant looks and less complicated interior does it for me over the better but over-designed newer cars.
Owned a 360 as a ‘first’ Ferrari about 10 years ago. What a great car! You can settle the rear down by using 430 geometry settings (rear toe went from 1.75 per side to 2.00 per side from memory). Really improves the handling. Seem to remember front suspension components were like consumables and needed regular replacing which was a) cheap, b)expensive. Your guess…
@@ezpz4659I don’t get why Americans are so obsessed with our cars. Your corvettes and vipers etc are much better and more reliable, lighter and faster on track. That amg will break so often and will cost easily 3 times it’s purchase price. A c5 vette with a few grand spent on it will hit 200 mph and handle like a supercar. First car to ever break 8 minutes in the ring if I recall correctly
What a color scheme! I’m with you, it’s fabulous! I don’t know about other people, but the 360 Modena was love at first sight for me back in 1999. I have so much early 2000s nostalgia with this Ferrari and it has always seemed like the perfect one to get into. I want one!
This video was a mixed blessing for me…on one hand it was fantastic and on the other hand you’ve just increased UK 360 values by around 20% - pushing them further from my reach! Keep up the good work regardless!
Great episode. It has taken me two attempts to finish it. I keep getting interrupted lol. So happy you had the chance to drive this amazing car . I hope you are able to add it to your collection. All the best !
Much, much prettier than the 430 and much easier to find one with a manual. It's definitely on my list. This was a great Car Guys. I got a good few laughs out of it and the enthusiasm was infectious. Great job.
When.the 360 came out I thought it was gorgeous and I still do. I actually wasn’t even aware of the 355 until much later. This example is so spectacular, and the lines of the car have aged so well! I might have to find myself one.
I had the pleasure of owning a 360 about 10 years ago. It was just about the most expensive one on the market at the time . I love it so much I did 18000 miles in the 2 years I had it ,my only regret was I went for the F1 gearbox. Great reliable fun motor . Just a big fancy Lotus Elise really .hope you manage to own that one at some point. Most entertaining video as always.cheers 👍

Nice review (as always). The 360 - yet another great V8 from Ferrari - shows how difficult it is to choose one (or that there is no wrong choice). I am really enjoying your series - a highlight of my Friday night (along with a good Martini). I say your post about shorts/live and I agree that these formats do not work with quality (and researched) format. As a loyal viewer (and Ferrari collector), keep it up!

Another fantastic video. I was hooked from start to finish. I've been lucky enough to have been in a few 360's and I have driven one around Silverstone. Great fun. Fabulous cars. You get a lot of car for your money. Loving this series 👍 Keep up the good work. Andy.
Another awesome Drive Every Ferrari video! Thanks for making this. The 360 was the first "new" (meaning, "reading about in the magazines when it was just rumors") Ferrari when I really started following cars and the 355 had been out a few years. I can't say it's my favorite one, but I have the softest of soft spots for it. And because we're on the internet, I'll again point out your V8 Ferrari history is missing the 328-based, but no-number, Italy-specific GTB and GTS Turbo models. :) I figure if the 208 can make the cut, those can, too. Thanks for these great videos.
The F360 is one of the best looking and driving Ferraris ever! Subsequent Ferraris that were released like the F430, F458 etc dont have the same design aesthetics as the F360.
Always good to see a positive review when you own one! Aircon is the off button, the weirdest labelling but another lovely quirk! The steering is probably my favourite part, even after owning 911 GTS, C4S, there is something so go kart like on the 360
I really enjoyed this one and always liked these when they were new. To me, the shape has aged really well too and of course a manual really makes it. Your enthusiasm and obvious “winkie fizzage” for this one was obvious. I think you need to get one of these!
Brilliant colour combo. I've never been sold on all the aluminium inside the 360s with lighter interiors, but on this it looks awesome. As for the aircon, surely you can get it installed
Couldn't agree with you more Damien, the 360 grown on me over the years,to the point where in think it's the best looking modern ferarri the simple an elegant pinafarina design is timeless and this one might be the prettiest one I have seen👍
Really enjoyed that episode Damian, your excitement reminded me of myself when I went to pick up my first MK1 Golf GTI when I was 19.. I was fizzing with excitement.. that 360 is a special car 👌🏻
It seems like when you do a video on a Ferrari that I never much cared for, it immediately gets me to give a second look and appreciate it more. It happened with the 599 and it happened again with the 360, and Mr. JWW's recent acquisition of an F355 changed my mind on that car as well. That said *Grump mode on* I still don't like the F40! *Grump mode off* :D Keep it up! I am loving this series.
I remember you always said you hated the design of the 360 :) I really didn't expect you to like the 360. I've got a manual 360 spider in TDF blue with tan interior - to me it is the perfect colour combination. And yes, the roof is a bit tricky and every time you put it down you pray that everything goes well. But when the roof is down, you get twice the Ferrari experience compared with when the roof is up. It gives you goosebumps. And you don't need A/C :) It's a great car!
Great video and good to see your appreciation of what really is currently, an undervalued car in the Ferrari range. Before I bought mine I drove the 348 & 355, but as you say the advance in everything on those models with the 360, made it my choice. Also the fact that you dont have to take the engine out for a cam belt service helps with the running costs !. Never seen one in that colour and as you say with that shade of red interior, it works really well. So did you make the owner an offer ?.
Any model replacing the 355 was always going to be up against it and I was disappointed by the 360. However, this one makes sense as the owner has specced it tastefully, with the original silver wheels. Nice!
Claret and Blue a great combo, my old man is a big Burnley FC fan and he specced a TVR Griffith in Mica Blue with Bordeaux Leather, not quite as extreme a contrast as Burnley, Aston Villa and West Ham but dark blue and dark red are a great combo
After watching this it’s made me want to keep my 360 , after toying with the idea of selling it. How ever we did stick it on the dyno it didn’t quite make 400bhp
I used to have a Tour de France blue manual modena that I sold in 2021... Such was the regret that I just purchased my second manual modena... A Grigio Titanio with cuoio interior. I'm so happy to be back with a manual modena. I regretted selling the first one.
It's a better car than the 355 without the engine out servicing. This and the 458 are probably the sweet spots for "affordable" ferrari ownership. Probably the only ones you'll spend more on fuel than maintenance!
New algorithm is total bs I am long time subscriber and I got zero notice of this video I saw your instagram post and had to find it glad I did bravo Damien!

Always good to see a positive review when you own one! Aircon is the off button, the weirdest labelling but another lovely quirk! The steering is probably my favourite part, even after owning 911 GTS, C4S, there is something so go kart like on the 360
👍🏻👍🏻
I agree with you that this color combination of dark blue exterior and beautiful red interior, makes this 360 the most beautiful of all 360.
👍🏻👍🏻
I agree. The perfect colour combination. Same as My E-type. I'd have a Roma in that combo. Wonderful.
Absolutely loved this video, and true Ferrari collectors know, rare colours like this are the ones to have. All the best. ✌🏼
Glad you enjoyed it
The more that time moves on, the more I prefer the painted rear panel as opposed to the challenge grille! More subtle and yet somehow more classy.
I really enjoyed this one and always liked these when they were new. To me, the shape has aged really well too and of course a manual really makes it. Your enthusiasm and obvious “winkie fizzage” for this one was obvious. I think you need to get one of these!
Thanks, Matthew - glad you enjoyed it
This is still my most favorite beauty - speechless
Brilliant colour combo. I've never been sold on all the aluminium inside the 360s with lighter interiors, but on this it looks awesome.
As for the aircon, surely you can get it installed
It will have aircon. Switch on the centre dash turns it on or off.
When your watch is worth more than the rare car you are driving , cool stuff
Couldn't agree with you more Damien, the 360 grown on me over the years,to the point where in think it's the best looking modern ferarri the simple an elegant pinafarina design is timeless and this one might be the prettiest one I have seen👍
👍🏻👍🏻
i am also owner of a Ferrari 360 - you have a nice car color with the interiror. wish you always good ride. cheers from germany
Really enjoyed that episode Damian, your excitement reminded me of myself when I went to pick up my first MK1 Golf GTI when I was 19.. I was fizzing with excitement.. that 360 is a special car 👌🏻
👍🏻👍🏻
It seems like when you do a video on a Ferrari that I never much cared for, it immediately gets me to give a second look and appreciate it more. It happened with the 599 and it happened again with the 360, and Mr. JWW's recent acquisition of an F355 changed my mind on that car as well. That said *Grump mode on* I still don't like the F40! *Grump mode off* :D Keep it up! I am loving this series.
Great to hear
A Happy Day is a Happy Damian, infectious 🙏🏻
👍🏻👍🏻
I remember you always said you hated the design of the 360 :) I really didn't expect you to like the 360.
I've got a manual 360 spider in TDF blue with tan interior - to me it is the perfect colour combination. And yes, the roof is a bit tricky and every time you put it down you pray that everything goes well. But when the roof is down, you get twice the Ferrari experience compared with when the roof is up. It gives you goosebumps. And you don't need A/C :) It's a great car!
All 360's look way better when they have that black CS rear grill added.
Those seats looking amazing comfy.
This channel is one of the best on RUclips. Deserves way more credit. Hope your voice is back soon enough.
Thanks, Mr H
Great exhaust beautiful car
YES a 360 over the over-designed 430 any day with its daft 'Kilroy -' peeking out - rear lights ! Good stuff as ever.....
👍🏻👍🏻
👍🏻👍🏻
If I get the chance this will always be my first ferrari no matter how much money I come into , was the Ferrari I always wanted as a teenager
You sound a bit under the weather, so thanks for keeping up the output, another lush car 👌🏻
On the fence? I think you should be clear if you like a car. 🤣🤣🤣
Great episode. Lovely car.
‘Winky fizzage’ - brilliant
I agree its nice, I like my 458 more though. I always did like the look of the 360
Love the colour of the leather. Got the same in my Lusso T.
The last V8 40 valves...the best gated manual, a pure classic now 😉
After watching this it’s made me want to keep my 360 , after toying with the idea of selling it. How ever we did stick it on the dyno it didn’t quite make 400bhp
I agree that the colour is lovely and the smooth lines and overall design is beautiful, a very neat car and rather fun to drive on British roads.
the first Ferrari I loved was the Testarossa and the second one a 360 simple design but it got me
Great video! Didn't you recently sell your challenge stradale? Do you prefer this 360 over that? Thanks again for another great video!
I used to have a Tour de France blue manual modena that I sold in 2021... Such was the regret that I just purchased my second manual modena... A Grigio Titanio with cuoio interior. I'm so happy to be back with a manual modena. I regretted selling the first one.
Awesome video of an incredible car...guys!
There is a quick fix for the voice, 2 shots of ginger root juice.
👍🏻👍🏻
What an example of the marquee 👍
I can't believe it didn't have A/,C as standard, but looking at the temp control it seems it doesn't 😲
they all have it as standard
@@Chase.H.Q You are correct. The button labeled 'stop' should be in the out position and the ac will start.
It's a better car than the 355 without the engine out servicing. This and the 458 are probably the sweet spots for "affordable" ferrari ownership. Probably the only ones you'll spend more on fuel than maintenance!
Damian's in love, Damian's in love ;)
I had a manual 360 Modena with a factory Stradale titanium exhaust and wheels, the sound was extraordinary!
So nice to see a Ferrari in blue, instead of red.
I agree
New algorithm is total bs I am long time subscriber and I got zero notice of this video I saw your instagram post and had to find it glad I did bravo Damien!
Delicious colour scheme. Might buy that 360 if my Lotus Emira doesn’t hurry up !
Again Brilliant. The best way to find out 'exactly' everything about a Ferrari. You should be on an earner from Maranello. Ps: always preferred the 430 to the 360
Used to own a black one, miss it so much
I owned my 360 Modena for 5 years and loved it (manual, TDF blue, with tan). IMO the design has aged really well. Thought they all had AC though?
What an episode. I was a bit gutted when it ended.
