With all the government(s) letting 2030 be talked about, I think we will be seeing things come much sooner, to try to catch us off. We don't have that time. I am concerned with all that has the potential to happen. Better to be ready and not need it, and live sassy off of our preps and have money, than be stuck. This is what I don't understand about UK Government. One minute it's stock up on candles & prepare for power cuts yet the next thing they promote is electric cars?
🤣you are so correct, it’s just because they have no idea in a way. Electrical cars are not the way forward but they can’t back out if it now , have to be done gently as they have invested so much. Government is a bunch of idiots so best prepare with your gut!

I think your focus is spot on, Ana! I'm prepping for long term grid down, as well as my usual preps. I'm dehydrating fruits and veggies, as well. However one thing I have considered is the tinned veggies...they have liquid so no water would be needed necessarily to cook or heat them. As you know, many you can eat straight from the tin. I am dehydrating, as a back up, too. Happy New Year!🎉🥳🎊
Happy new year Ana, good video. A CME or EMP could knock out the electronics in a solar generator. Not sure how to protect the solar generator and system. I think the progression is SHTF, then WROL. That’s when we need self defense. I’ve got my pointy stick handy.

I have got old filing cabinets with floors in them and setting them up for my solar generator faraday storage. !IMPORTANT Do NOT take them out and use them immediately after an outage, wait and see as there may be more to come.
Solar panels do not need emp protection you have to just disconnect them from the system.. an electric generator or battery backup needs to be protected.. if you have a self built system( I have both) you can disconnect the Solar controller and the battery as well as the inverter and protect those.. I have a spare inverter, controller and battery in a cage permanently as well as 1 solar genny put away permanently I use everything else I own daily to run my office and my shop .. I am filming a solar setup video this week for self built systems under $500 remember lithium batteries have BMS inside and it will fry but you can use any car battery (lead acid) so batteries will be readily available after a solar event or emp

I had the other day bought some couscous , used to be 90p now £1.20 I was also shocked and rather annoyed as I want to buy more. Things are only going to get worse, slowly but surely.
" a bumpy ride" could be an understatement. I've seen first hand how quickly societal breakdown happens and that's with a decent economy in place. London riots, covid and old and new terrorist threats all demonstrated how fragile our controlled little world is.
I know it is an understatement but I felt I did t want to scaremonger people too much. There is soo many scaremonger videos on YT that some of them make you loose a will to live, so I was just being gentle 😊
@AnasFoodLifestyle yeah I get it completely, unfortunately some people need the gentle touch or they get scared to certain realistic scenarios. You're doing good work for sure. 👌🏻 I like to think, being a community prepper, it is the decision to hold onto hope. Don't survive but thrive.
Great video! We're on the same page with looking ahead in 2024, as things arent looking too great with one thing or another. Building a simple faraday cage for protecting some useful/essential electricals is next for me. Looking forward to seeing your upcoming videos Ana!👍

The coffee creamer that I buy today went from €0.99 to €1.09. I had to do a double take. Still "Lowest price" in the range.

Yes I put them through dishwasher but I do change lids for new ones as the old ones are stinky

🤣🤣yes unfortunately they are a super fast to cook with barely any energy and they do keep for a while, making them nutritious is another challenge
