I spent the last 8 days, researching the various testing 'Reports' on the addition of Bovaer to (a) Cows themselves and (b) To the end-consumer (Us, the Guinea-Pigs!) Naturally, with such an ingredient as Nop3 involved, all 'Testers' were issued Hazmat clothing! I could go on all day and ruin the comments section, so, can I just add, the final conclusions of those *_independent testers!_* (All data supplied by the manufacturers of Bovaer!) "Concentrations of 3-NOP and its metabolites in milk and edible tissues *are not expected to reach levels of concern.* The additive should be considered *_corrosive to the eyes, a skin irritant and potentially harmful by inhalation;_* it is not a skin sensitizer. It was concluded the additive _poses an _*_acceptable risk_*_ to the environment."_ My personal opinion; Any 'Risk' howsoever described, is a risk too far! What about the cumulative effect on both Cow and user? Curiously, that was *_not_* tested (Why?) Who decided (Apart from the Bovaer Company) that there is NO possibility of any side-effects _Reaching levels of concern_ and who decided _What, (if any) is any level of concern_ Do your homework people, do NOT accept anything that contains such a dangerous 'ingredient' as NOP3?

I can understand the need to repeat the testing as people as basically stupid. When we had the C outbreak, it emerged that frequent handwashing was good practice. We still have the C but people seem to have forgotten all about the handwashing - goldfish brains 🙂 But it is a bit naughty not to announce when the test will happen, it is going to be a real pain for those who do shift work and are sleeping when the rest of us are awake (assuming that it will go off during the day as it did before), as not all phones can have the alarm turned off, especially older models

Despite the fact that weather reports nowadays are particularly inaccurate…if a rather large tsunami, hurricane, typhoon, 100 mph winds, biblical type floods where heading our way, our weather reporters love nothing more than scaring the st out of us for about a week before it happens telling us repeatedly it’s coming. If there is a power cut, then there’s a power cut and somebody will find out down your street what has happened. If there is a catastrophe like an airplane coming down or multiple carriage train crash we’ll find out about it eventually unless were involved personally in such a catastrophe. If an aggressive country decided they were going to strafe us with machine guns or vaporise us with nukes, it’s already too late…so what possible emergency is there that warrants sending and alarm warning via your phone???🤔

The alert will be blamed on either Russia, Iran, North Korea or China......basically any foreign country that doesn't bend the knee to the West .....

In Canada, there is advance warning of emergency alert tests for those who pay a little bit of attention (many don't). They are usually in the early afternoon and it's made very clear that there is a test. Afterwards a survey is set out to determine how the alert was received (phone, TV, radio). I can see the purpose for not warning about some emergency tests. In my first year of university, the fire drill in our residence was at about 7:30pm on a weeknight. I was in the library and didn't even know what the fire alarm sounded like. Second year, same residence, new director of residences (different way of doing things) - fire alarm went off at about 5:20am and we cleared about 160 people from the building in under 2 minutes. Had it been during the day or evening I think we would have been lucky to clear the building in 5 minutes.

I don't have Siri or anything like that. I often don't carry my phone with me , and I only use it to check on sites like this. If it's not with me, or in a box , they can't hear or track me. I withdraw nearly all my money from the Bank when it comes in , so I'm not tracked again because I'm not using my Bank Card to shop . I leave enough money for Direct Debits and that's it. I've got the "smart" part of my phone switched off. Anyway, why send an alarm with no form of action in place? Do they expect everybody to rush outside like its a fire alarm, waiting for government permission to go back in? They really do think we are idiots.

Throw the phones in the Bin

I've been going through some old electronics to keep in Faraday Bags and been measuring the power requirements for each. Most surprising is an old Trends Audio 10.1 Stereo amplifier with only seems to using around 2-3 W when driving some ancient Tannoy Mercurt M3 speakers to volumes, which would probably start to annoy the neighbours. I also forgot how good the Audiophile quality was as well. I was using a old iPod touch via bluetooth to a Ugreen Bluetooth receiver for the Amplifier. I also had an old LG BD350 Blu-ray player as well which uses about 7-8W when using an HDMI extracter and a DAC to use with the Trends Audio 10.1 audio amplifier. I did get a new 15.6 inch portable monitor which uses around 5-6 W so total power is around 16 W to watch a Blu-ray movie using 3 26,800mA lithium Power packs with everything except for the Tannoy Speakers in Faraday bags. Must have some prepper entertainment during a black out.

Thank you very much for that reminder, Ana. I was woken up at 3am a couple of weeks ago to tell me that the electricity was off, which I already knew about because my alarm clock wasn'y lit up. I didn't answer at first because it means getting up for my land line (I don't have a mobile). Just getting back to sleep when it rang again. Then back to bed and, as I don't sleep at all well. I'd only got back to sleep about an hour later when it rang again to tell me it was still off, which it wasn't as it was already back on, lol. Then woken again at 5am to tell me it was back on again. Aaaaargh! I don't want that again! Actually, looking at other replies, mine might be something different (I'm on the service for utilities because of disabilities) and I didn't receive the emergency alerts/test.

I'm immune to all scary notifications, i grew up in a tech world and did just fine.

I don't see the point. A nuclear attack would be hypersonic (no warning). A cyber attack or an EMP would take everyone's phone out anyways so the alarm wouldn't work. We're very unlikely to get a tsunami in the UK....So what's the point? The only thing I can think is the continued mission to keep the population compliant and scared, and to get us used to the government treating us like kids.
