- HOMEMADE CANDLES 🕯️With a simmering sense of curiosity and a deep desire to embrace sustainability, I ventured into the world of homemade candle making! Gathering a collection of old, burnt out candles that had seen better days, I turned my trash into sensory treasure. 🔥 Carefully melting the old wax in a big pot, I watched as it transformed into a cinnamon liquid of tranquility while in the glass jars. Pouring the liquid back into the cleaned glass jars, I repurposed the old wax and created something brand new and so stunning. Overnight the candles became solid and I could not be more thrilled with how this easy project came out. Stay tuned my loves because I’ll be sharing more zero-waste DIY creations that will help you take a step towards reducing waste while adding a touch of joy and coziness to your space! 🎵 @onegreatvegan

love the part where she shows us how to make them
Shes showing you wrong🙄 She doesn't know what she's doing.
Umm.. perhaps I missed the instructions?
She water heated old candles, where you would throw away because wick got damaged or just didn’t burn the wax enough, and made a fresh one with the scraps. Very easy to do if you follow her instructions, but I see the confusion as this isn’t how to make candles from scratch. The assumption is you have some leftover
Sarcasm at its peak 😂😂
@@Nasema7 i’m being sarcastic….
Glad to see people try to make candles! I have a candle business of my own I’ve been doing it for 4 years
👏👏good job. I'd like to start that kind of business yaz🤔
How's your business going?
@@lauramilenasuarez2803 good but my account got banned so I’ll have to make another one
@@sithabilemkhwanazi2099 to be honest it’s expensive😭
Where can we purchase your candles
I did something similar Achoti, which is to say Sister, I meltdown old candle wax but I didn’t have or buy wicks, that was a great idea, what I did was used the the little tea light candles that I have in abundance, I sat them down just below the surface, so that the wick would be accessible. For bigger candles I add up to 3, tea light candles. 🕯️
All praises to Yahuah, the Elohim of the Israelites!! Hope this helps!! ❤😊
Definitely a good way to make candles. Don't waste old ones just recycle them! My mom used to do this!
WOW, GRDEAT!
That would be awesome to make for birthday 🎂 gifts or Christmas gift goodie bags.
This looks lush❤, I'm probably going to nake these during the next lockdown, seeing as i still have everything.
Your comment is from one month ago, where did you get idea there will ever be another lockdown?

Great song choice for this video.
Tips on how to weigh down the wick so it goes straight down the middle?
wrap a coil of the wick in the bottom of the candle and it will sit flat on the base
So so easy to make

If you make a candle I have a way to make it faster which is to use the candle scents from the brand Scentsy 🎉
Edit: Other brands are fine
Girl, you look like Elle from heartstopper ❤
Omg that’s so smart! I just threw away a ton of old candles cause I couldn’t find use in them… dang it 🫠🫠🫠
Thank you! I’ll save the rest!
Hi, for me when I put the wick in and let it dry the wax sinks in. I’m very confused and annoyed, cause if I dye it the I can’t get the right colour again :/

Hi mam does the glass break or not can anyone please reply me
Did u use heat gun
How do u have it burn even
How is this homemade, if you're just melting old candles, and remolding them? This is just an epic way to recycle, and I'm all for it. However i don't see it as homemade, when it's not your own creation.
The smile in every frame is hella creepy
Its meat if u say its meat 😍💀
NEVER put out a candle immediately after lighting it for the first time because if it will dig out a cave for itself and won’t melt edges which will end up in a ugly candle instead you have to wait for the it reach all the way to the edge of the candle so it melts the whole thing
Instructions?
That hairline tho 😭
No
You’re just melting old candles
This is super wrong! I wish you amateurs stop putting this out there..
Your wax wick & jars must all be compatible.
As a candle maker for 20 plus yrs...this is absolutely ridiculous!
I would love to learn can you help us beginners
