You need to catch a show asap. They aren't getting any younger. I saw them a few months ago and couldn't believe how good they still perform this music live. I saw some interviews with the band members, and they do have some music that they would like to record, but I don't know if it will be an EP or a full album.
They just finished up their US tour. They start a European tour later this year. Crossing fingers they continue to tour next year!

seen them twice... once over ten years ago, and again this past november. the show is just as good if not better. their performance is immaculate, and the freaking lasers, man. it's wild.

I saw Tool in Vegas February 18th and Danny did a portion of his drum solo wearing a body cam and was displayed on the screens! That was some cool shit! Seen them 14 times now, first time I ever saw that.
The thing that makes this song so addictive, is that you have to keep going back to listen to it because it is sooooo complex that most of us mortals cannot re-create it in our mind

But, ultimately, I needed to see Tool again.

Good reaction. I want to address to you one thing I want clarification about. I’ve heard you refer to a few pieces of sound or part of the song as having ASMR. Maybe there’s different meanings or definitions, but for me I’ve been listening and watching to a ton of ASMR videos and I’ve been into ASMR before it actually became a thing and now that I am very familiar with it I just want to know if you have your own definition of it since my definition of it is a sound and sight that stimulates that part of the brain that induces tranquility and a form of relaxation that can help people sleep or calm their nerves to the state of Catatonia. So I’m just wondering how you fit ASMR into any of Tools music?
Appreciate you very much! thank you! & Absolutely! What I was referring to was that sensation I get from certain instruments and sounds they incorporate in their music. It's an instant relaxer for me. (Which quickly turns to euphoria when the band all comes in lol)

So many people get tingles through various sounds that typically are slow moving or soft sounding. I guess for you your triggers are not common, but whatever works for you is never wrong. Thanks bro.
