    RF50 1.2 is actually external focussing, as the front element is moving (though not protruding). That's why it's only weather-sealed when a front filter is applied. I'd always go with the 1.2.

    Nice job comparing the lenses, but no one is surprised by which lens won. 😂😂😂 Why not include the Sigma Art lens in that comparison? I think that would have been a better comparison.

    I split the difference and got the Sigma Art 50 1.4. It's just as sharp as the RF 50 1.2, and it's much faster focusing on the R6 Mark II than the native RF 50's, and 3x cheaper!

    I mean when you compare them side by side you'll see the difference like that but on paper would the client or other notice all this? I don't think so. Great video though

    I feel you overlooked one of the most important points and that’s Bokeh.
    I own both lenses and for portraiture the f1.2L lens wipes the floor with Bokeh not just at f1.2 but all the way down to f8 it’s the same.

    LOL. Who's turning out photos at an image scale of 400%? The Canon RF 50mm F/1.8 is great.
