The Mazda MX-5 is 35 years old, and over the years the plucky little sports car has pretty much nailed the agile sports car formula, but now Mazda have updated the MX-5 for the 2024 year and there are some subtle changes.
Do the changes mean that the MX-5 is now better than ever to drive?

Had my Homura RF since May.It replaced my 2021 sort tech RF.Gosh its so much better.What do I I know though ? I've only had them for over 3 years.

I don’t feel I have any right to complain about anything with this car. I’ve had mine now for two weeks. Every thing about this car is still real. Fuel ,gauges, manual, hand brake, no other competitor for the price. Thank you Mazda for keeping it real. So grateful. Good review by the way.

Gorgeous car in Soul Red with the black BBS wheels. How is the rear-view camera resolution with the new 8.8" screen? The resolution has been pretty poor since the MX-5 first got a camera in 2019. I just bought a 2023 RF Club and it's still grainy. Nice review, though. Good stuff.
To be honest the camera hasn't changed but since it was raining on that day I didn't get a clear view out of the camera when reversing. Everything does look a little better on that screen though so I imagine the view from the camera is slightly better, but I can't imagine you're missing out with your 2023 RF.
Good review Just got my new RF in machine gray with 2ltr engine it's the exclusive range . Had a mk2 from new for 26 years no problems in over 100.000 miles still in mint condition and no rust .Totally different feel to the new RF it's fantastic would recommend to anyone. 😊
Mazda MX-5s are pretty tough little things! I'm still seeing over 25 year old models on the road with the same smile on the drivers faces. I think regardless of the spec the MX-5 is so fun!
Really like the look of the new and recent MX5, they've been onto a winner with it for decades. Nice to see, I've driven the na, nb and nc mx5, not had the chance to drive any of the new modern ones.
They MX-5 has always been a great car and the newer ones continue to improve on the original without losing its identity... Can't go wrong with the MX-5
G’day from Australia! Nice video and love the passion that comes through in your presentation. Just collected my mine two days ago. It looks identical to the red one in your video except for the blacked out roof and the Alcantara and mine is the top spec model in Australia.

Not my Car. It´s to small for me my haed is at the Roof!!!! No thanks, Mazda. It´s a phantastic Car for people with 1,75cm max hight!!!!
Oh no! How tall are you? I'm pretty much around 175cm so I didn't seem to have a problem to be honest.
I am 1,83m and i have big Problems to sit in the MX-5. For me it´s not my car. im driving my CX-30 186HP X-Motor and 6MT. That´s perfecct for me.
