Than you for the most thorough review of an MX5 I have seen to date. I own a 2022 MX5 soft top in Canada and thoroughly enjoy driving this car. It reminds me of my 1972 MGB I owned many years ago, only the MX5 is done to a much higher quality level and driving fun. Cheers
Thanks for an excellent review.Collected my 1.5 here in Spain at the start of August. One thing you did not mention was its effect on people as it brings a smile and compliments rather than the resentment some badges generate. My dog is also a massive fan.
The owners manual and tyre repair kit can fit in the additional storage area behind the drivers seat (RF) or behind either seat (roadster). So the roadster effectively has 4 glove boxes of varying sizes.
Pretty sure the exposed chassis pictures were of an NC last gen MX-5 instead of an ND MX-5 based on the shape of the transmission and the location of the oil dipstick. Thd ND transmission is smooth, without any of the ribbing that's in the picture shown. The exhaust also comes out the wrong side for an ND too.
Excellent review! I own one of these ND3s and love that you went very into detail with your review! Perfect length in my opinion and great breakdown!! Subbed!
Hi great review.. just got 2024 RF in black been on order since February. Question question do you think you should have a run in period a what’s your thoughts on under sealing the car looks lovely underneath as not been out in the wet weather yet.Dealership saying the service department not to keen on it as it makes work an looking under the car harder.
I spray "Fluid Film", a lanolin based rust preventative, every season under the car and have driven through many winters with my ND. I have no rust issues. I used it on my NC years ago and after 150,000 miles, swapped out my suspension easily, because I had no frozen fasteners. So contrary to what the dealer says, I would recommend it. It may make leaks hard to find (because it stays wet), but you could wash it off with detergent if you needed.
Excellent review!! Happy owner here of 2021 RF GT sport package 6 speed manual 2.0 l, can't be more happier anytime i take a tour with this nice looking little beauty, real jewel, perfect go kart!❤ Greetings from Montréal !
New sub to your channel, your vids would benefit from putting the ‘want this content” banner right at the top instead of the bottom as it hides some of the car/interior your reviewing! Enjoyed the vid though, good work.
You might have a bit of a delay if you order this trim as both Recaro seats and BBS wheels are currently in receivership and , in Recaro’s case, not expected to recommence production until 2025.
kislux You are so well-informed about luxury accessories and bags. You've obviously done your due diligence and the comparison to the US is very informative...because of course, I live in New York. thank you very much.

Thank you so much, that is very encouraging
Thank you for reviewing this excellent roadster masterpiece. I'd be really interested to watch a review for the 1.5L engine

The variety of textures in the kislux pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
you’re literally my comfort person i love you kislux !
My mom bought one kislux and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.
Got mine 9 months ago. For those who are still considering, just go and get one.

7:00 , “I-stop off” and “P off” buttons don’t exist in US spec. Do you have a different spec car that has these buttons/functions?
Thank you for the good review. I just got the RF in that color and i am loving it.
Good choice

Forgot to say I’m in UK an using as a day to day car.
13.0:1 compression 2.0l DOHC making 184HP and 150 whatever TQ is just not it though something is holding this engine back. Even at 7000rpms
Redline is 7500 in the 2.0 L at least here in the US. Maybe that’s different on the UK side.
He probably just meant the fuel cock. US cars rev to 7800.
Hope the gearboxes don’t explode anymore
I felt this wonderful feeling in my mind, body and soul when she said “I prefer kislux
