    I really enjoyed the bts . I had a question on your drone footage you shot 30 fps and slowed that down to get slow motion. Where you shooting everything in 30 fps

    • @HeartbeatFilmsLouisiana
      @HeartbeatFilmsLouisiana  Год назад

      Thanks! I slow the drone footage down to 80% in a 24 fps timeline (to make it match) mostly shooting in 24 all day on real time events (ceremony, speeches, etc) and 60 for all the other stuff

    I have so many questions about White balance, it seems like you were able to switch and mitigate your options. what do you recommend for learning purposes especially on Sony siii user, I've found myself using 56000k the whole time.

    • @HeartbeatFilmsLouisiana
      @HeartbeatFilmsLouisiana  Год назад +2

      I would stick to kelvin all day but start by switching from 2700-3200 for indoor yellow lighting, 3500-4500 for mixed lighting, and 5600-6000 for outdoor. If it looks blue or yellow on your screen/monitor go lower or higher on your kelvin to make it look right.

    a little late, but just curious. What aperture are you shooting at for establishing shots? a little new to profiles. Is that a log profile?

    • @HeartbeatFilmsLouisiana
      @HeartbeatFilmsLouisiana  7 месяцев назад

      Mainly around 4.0 , no it’s a semi contrast file, looks great straight out of camera.

    for the ceremony do you recommend using a monopod or tripod

    • @HeartbeatFilmsLouisiana
      @HeartbeatFilmsLouisiana  11 месяцев назад

      It really depends on the situation. We always have up to 3 tripods and sometime use a monopod and/or gimbal.

    • @edi18912
      @edi18912 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@HeartbeatFilmsLouisiana its actually my first wedding, ill be solo and also 1 camera, im shooting with a fuji Xt3 and a 17-70 zoom. I was planning to just use a gimbal for the whole thing but im seeing many people put thier camera on a monopod/tripod for the ceremony , what should i do ? thank you

    • @HeartbeatFilmsLouisiana
      @HeartbeatFilmsLouisiana  11 месяцев назад

      @@edi18912 I would borrow or rent a 2nd camera and put it on a tripod in the back high and wide (manual focus on where the couple will stand) and keep your main camera on the gimbal if you are comfortable enough with your movements.

  • @SilverioCampagnaFilm
    @SilverioCampagnaFilm Год назад

    HI! in the first two minutes of the video I see the gimbal make a camera movement towards the house and then towards the sign. in the final result I see a perfect movement without any vibration or little fluid movements. is it the result of poat production with help of software stabilization or is it already so natively? I use a Zhiyun crane 2 with 7iii and a 50mm base, and especially in close ups, I don't have a smooth image at all. at the edges of the video you can see perfectly a movement irregularity. is given by the lens that perhaps is not stabilized? from the gimbal that is not accurate? or from my movement? which I assure you I do with extreme care and technique. grazie !

    • @HeartbeatFilmsLouisiana
      @HeartbeatFilmsLouisiana  Год назад +1

      Well, it’s slowed down in the final video and possibly some stabilization, I don’t really remember. But as long as I’m pushing in slowly, it usually turns out fine. I use the built in stabilizer in FCPX and the 24-105mm Sony G lens which is stabilized.
