I started with 35mm then went to medium format for 10 years and now using digital and all prime lens. After 20 years I will never go back to film :) Your video is a great
Thanks for finding this gem video! As a starting photograph that wants to start a business in wedding photography this video is very educative. Thanks this video is timeless.
So many great photos! You seem relaxed and like you're enjoying the shoot, unlike so many wedding photographers who seem to be struggling tjust to get through the gig. Cheers
Really appreciate that Dan. It was definitely a fun one. I find when you have a good team and a fun couple (or model), it makes it more if a good collaboration vs ‘work’.
You gotta be brave to stay with film. The artistry in the images is both organic and sophisticated. Nicely done. My last medium format camera was a nice Pentax 645nII. But digital photography took away a lot of the anxiety for me. Love the video.
Thanks so much! Really means a lot. Check out the @filmsupplyclub youtube channel - that's where I've been putting a ton of energy (and content) lately.
Absolutely loved your video Braedon, really cool you're still shooting film, such a refreshing change and it made me realise how cool the "real" grain is on film. Well done mate and one new subscriber. Best wishes Lawrence. :)
Thanks tons! Check out the Film Supply Club Channel - I've been putting out most of my recent content there with a big editorial shoot getting posted soon. Not sure if links work in the comments but here's the direct link: ruclips.net/channel/UC1TF5VhiFgWw0c61vnTA6Tw
This is such a great video! I loved it! You mentioned you were shooting Portra 800 inside because gives you neutral tons, but how do you rate it to get to that? I usually rate it to 400, but my tons are much more orange than yours. Any tips? Btw, I am an avid listener of your podcast. I love all the resources you put out there. Thank you!
So fun to hear you're listening to the podcast. I'm having fun doing it all. Tips for P-800. The orange you're getting is probably coming from lights that are on. Unless they are 'daylight' balanced lights - looking more white than yellow, it's probably the reason your film is looking 'orange'. Even when shooting inside, I still try and be near window light - so I'm getting that natural 'daylight balance' of the film. Film is really sensitive to different colors of light. I typically rate my P800 at 640... Let me know if that helps or if you have other questions.
Super useful video this, thank you. May I ask what make\model of your strap gear is? I have been looking for something suitably sturdy for my Nikon F5's and Hasselblad V-Systems?
Hi Brandon, How long did it take you to master the posing part of a wedding? I have what we call CRS and trying to remember poses is like fighting to get out of hell. Any suggestions?
@@rawcamiel you could go wrong in the lab :-). (Looks like they are models) and the ph. is trying to be old fashion for the art sake. . Looking through the description, you're correct. I was using the camera mentioned but I was also mainly using the Contax 645, which you can find here - filmsupply.club/collections/contax - it is the best medium format camera in my opinion.
Hi Clarence. I am still shooting film. Most every image on my website or Instagram was shot on film and I run a company called Film Supply Club - selling lots and lots of film to other photographers shooting it as well.
It's so cool to use film for wedding! Love the poses!
Film is the best!! And thanks tons.

Hi so I’m new to this channel what is that you’re shooting with 😳
With that kind of bride, is not possible to do it wrong.
helps a lot but don´t relie on that

I think the cmaera description doesn't match with what you are using. Which camera are you using?

awesome man, what lens is that on the Contax?
glad you liked it. That lens is the 80mm 2.0 for the Contax 645
Braedon Flynn thank you so much
Hi Braedon, At this point in digital images are you still shooting film?

@@BraedonFlynn Thank you Braedon. Most appreciated!
Beutiful work what was the b35mmm camera??
Hi Tom. Sorry for the slow response. That 35mm Camera is a Canon EOS1N body. filmsupply.club/collections/canon/products/canon-eos-1n-body
Braedon must have really strong glasses because most of his manual focus shots were in acceptable focus. I guess that's the secret.
hyprz - lots of practice!
