Love the video. And I just wanted to say, a behind the scenes wedding video is supposed to be long, weddings are long. The longer the better because we can see exactly what you did
Awesome Video! Loved it and watched the entire thing in 1 sitting. Can you do more of these videos please. Exactly like this one. Every wedding is so different and I would love to see some more challenging ones, in some not so nice smaller venues and locations. Chubbier brides that tend to be somewhat more common. To make those kind of weddings still look amazing would be very good to see. Also, could you tell us a bit more about the flash settings and what you would do if you could only use the V1S (either on camera or with Xpro trigger)? Thank you
Great video & beautiful wedding! I especially love your reception lighting & would love more tips. I usually use 2 OCF lights + on camera flash and I really like how your photos turned out!
Thanks! Yea I forgot to add that info in...but generally I use all prime lenses from Sony and Sigma. As for off-camera settings, I'm planning to make a video about it going over my settings and stuff!
Love the video! Just subcribed. Hope to see more of such videos. What were your flash and AF settings like during the dance? I did one recently and sometimes had trouble locking the focus.
Thanks for subscribing! Planning to make another one soon! Flash settings are always different depending on the room, but I usually keep my on camera flash power to about 1/16
@@kairosweddingsphotovideo do you have an opinion on using the Lume Cube vs a speed light?! Wouldn’t the LED cube kind of blind guest, bride etc. I saw one at a wedding recently used in a dark chapel. And it seemed kind of blinding. Just curious if it’s all the rage or what. Thanks in advance. Love your channel.
@@TiffanyRingwood Thanks! Sorry I haven't used the lume cube myself but I have seen a couple of videographers use it. I'm not a fan of the blinding light haha
This is so nice and in point BTS! question on the ceremony. did you only use two offcam flashes? and placed on right and left pointing the ceiling? Thankyou! and what gels did you use for the flashes? :))
Thanks for watching! Yes, for the ceremony I used 2 off camera flashes, left and right, pointed at the couple, and 1 on camera flash. For gels, I used MagMod CTO gels
oh okay thankyoU! Do you have tips what sort of color gel to use on a camera depends on light? and for the reception did you also put gels on your four off camera? :) thanks so much kairo. @@kairosweddingsphotovideo
Yeap, I don't really use that much color gels except for the orange CTO gels but only if you're going for a specific look that requires other colors. And yes, I used gels on all four off-camera flashes!@@EdwardUmpaFilms
And I forgot to ask, are you shooting that 4 light setup on manual or ttl? I shoot manual and I get great photos but whenever they move all over the dance floor that’s when the light start looking less consistent
Thank you so much for the quick response! :) I love photography but I only use my phone. Starting about taking my photography more seriously and investing in a camera and working my way up to wedding photography. This video has been super helpful! Thank you so much!
This is very good content and not too long. If a BTS is 2 hrs long and all full of quality content, one won't mind seeing it all
Thanks! I'll keep that in mind for the next one :)
Love the video. And I just wanted to say, a behind the scenes wedding video is supposed to be long, weddings are long. The longer the better because we can see exactly what you did
Thanks so much! I'll definitely keep that in mind for the next one!
Really love these videos ! I think it would be cool to go over the gear you use too!
Beautiful couple
Loved every minute of the video, thank you for sharing.
Worth every second! Loved it!

Your work is amazing; such an inspiring video ❤
Thanks a lot!
Absolutely fantastic work, Mike!
Did you use any external light for the bridal portraits (timeline 16-16:45)?
Thanks! Really appreciate it~
@@_theHavis I didn't use any external lights for that part. Only the natural light coming from the windows!

Good work, thanks

very cool stuff, do you have a video on your editing and color grading? let me check..
New subscriber here! I enjoyed this. I wish you would talk a little more about focal length you chose for lens. But this was great!
Thanks for subscribing! Yes, I'll definitely be sure to add lens info moving forward! 😅
Love this. I’m always worried setting up my OCF stands that little kids will tip them over. 😅
Haha I'm always worrying about the same thing!

I shoot on the Sony A7IV with a bunch of prime lenses!
Ever lost any jewelry?
I mean, you can see the metrics from the vid, but for me I\d say keep the video LONG. Great video!
Haha thanks, will do for the next one!
